lucky the lil fat chicky isn’t real. Fun fact I am scared of birds after being attacked by a robin at a young age.Only bird I am not afraid of is and that is so great.

Loving the HA. your chicky sounds like she has attitude! - My gramdfather raised chickens when I was young and a little chick peeked me so close to my eye. My grandfather gave the chick to me and said i was responsible for it. I love chickens to this day. He probably did that so I wasn't scared of them. Smart now that I think about it.

Your lucky, I have never gotten over the robin attacking me on top of my head, and he beat my ears with his wings. I can hear the motion of bird wings, and come close to losing it. Chicken in RL I can just barely tolerate, lucky for them they lay eggs. LOL

Raising the chickens is not too bad. They follow the first thing they set eyes on when they hatch and fend for themselves. But the sitting on those hard oval shapes, keeping them warm is very stressful. And seeing the master insists on a rooster, I would not say forced, as I could moult ... but that means I can get cold. I hate being cold. So I choose what I think is better.

Egg-spectations are high,while we are out looking for a chick-flick to watch tonight.I'm sure glad we got chicks and not a cow..that would just be a big mess. :P It's a bit of yolking around....I'll see myself out thanks.

That's sweet of you <3 Thank you for your words. Because of the ovarian cancer, my uterus and the other ovary were removed during the second operation, so everything came out... I'm doing well at home thanks to painkillers. Luckily, I need less and less of them. My daughter comes over often, cooks meals, does the shopping, and does some housework. I talk to friends on the phone a lot, and visiting, if it lasts longer, is usually still too stressful for me.
