It's been three days since my quests were reset . . .
EDIT: Now it's the 17th, and quests still have not reset for me. This does NOT give me confidence in the new website.
how often are these (kumos) quests supposed to reset? Are they meant to be daily quests or weekly?

My quests never reset :(
[flower=Senti]
I am not old. I am gracefully aged
It's kinda a bummer that th quests aren't resetting. I mean, if it was just to test the way it goes then that's ok.
Lair Bears Dance Mix! (play it on shuffle)
Yea mine are not reset either i miss doing them
Thank you for buying from my shops
What i sell goes towards minions
so thank you very much :)
3 minions to go[/b]
will also miss quest points, if we're able to buy then for sP then it isnt much different than just buying items from usershops. kinda takes away some of the reward aspect of doing all of your quests
I also will be sad if the total quests get cut down :(
I really am not fond of any of the changes and it makes me want to consider putting my money elsewhere. As of right now, I've donated into the thousands to the site just this card round alone, and it feels like my voice, as well as many other voices, are being plain ignored, the new Kumos site is buggy af, you have to click the items to see the info/wearables on them and I didn't know that, so I just didn't use Kumos period for that; it feels like you're penalizing laptop users and overprioritizing mobile users when we both should come to a compromise in this, not one over the other - and cutting down the quests makes me feel like maybe I shouldn't be spending so much time on this website if everything I like doing is going to be cut out and removed. No one HAS to do all the quests, but the option should be there for those who want to. The direction this is going and the recent decisions this site has been giving are alarming at best and I think it's time I reconsider how much time (and money) I invest myself in here. Giving out Kumos testing pages while the pages are broken and filled with bugs and problems isn't 'transparent'-- it's disheartening and makes me feel like the whole site is going to be as equally janky.
Edit Just tried the quest to give it a chance. I did 2 and quit and decided I won't be participating in quests going forward if this is how it's implemented. You get rewarded for doing nothing. Minimizing clicks is good, but this? This is just plain instant gratification for nothing and I find it incredibly offensive to cave into the digital age where everyone wants instant pleasure for no effort. I come to this site to feel productive and content, and right now, I'm definitely feeling neither.
I absolutely love the changes that are going in to the quest, it makes me want to start spending money on this site again. Quest are super grindy and fell like a boring task everyday, i sometimes forget to do them. With this new questing system it feels fun and revived.
Thank you for keeping us in the loop with all the updates you are doing and I look forward to the many changes ahead.
Keep up the great work.
P.S. I would like more quest to do. K thx byiiii

The transition from quest points to other ways of getting the quest shop items sounds like it's been thought through, and the Morty card situation too, but what about these other quest-related game systems:
Wizard tokens. The new Wizard quests don't give anywhere near as many Wizard Tokens as the current Wizard Quests do. Wizard tokens are used in (sometimes very!) large amounts in every Token Shop restock, plus for Blackheart Hollow, plus for Zapper, and maybe even more.
New Year currency, Flowers for bouquets, Pirate ship stock, and more go out through quests as an additional distribution mechanism for people who have trouble with other means of getting them. New extra methods would need to be made to replace these.
Quest-a-thons. Not just the site sponsored ones, but there are also user-run quest-a-thons in some groups. These will be very different if they can still exist at all.
Blue Building quests, Battle quests, Major Drills, other atypical quests?
There seem to be far fewer items requested in the new quests, so there will need to be new item-sinks if we're doing much fewer quests, or user shops won't get nearly as much business.
Also, the new quest system just doesn't feel like you're really playing as much as the current one? It'd be nice if we could get shop search buttons as an option in case we feel like actually choosing which shop to buy from, instead of just a random least-expensive shop item. We can do that totally manually, but having the choice be too-easy or too-difficult is a bit frustrating.
As for click vs hover, I'm still not used to it, and I know it's not everyone's favorite. Maybe screen width testing would work so that phones could click on items and desktops or laptops could still hover, or maybe a user preference?
New questing is a lot cleaner and easier so I'm in favour of that, and subeta is definitely long overdue some backend code updates. I do agree with other users though that the limitations side of things is a little confusing right now. As it stands quests on the main site give very good rewards (including morty cards and the like) and are worth doing for that reason, if we lose out on reward rates at the end of this that will be pretty disheartening.
Here's hoping that aspect gets balanced out as time goes on. Interested to see how this develops.

I must be weird because questing is one of the main reasons I log on everyday. I’d like more quests not less. I’d be super sad to lose quests and items bought with quest points. It’s fun to save up for them ❤️
I had no idea about this until yesterdays news post. I skimmed over a few pages (no I didn't read all 16 pages of posts) and I wanted to add my 2 cents....
I am one of those that when I do quests, I generally do ALL my quests. Chase, Battle, Drills, plus all NPCs. I would be sad to not have as many available quests to do when I am in the mood for quests. I also would be sad to lose the items and sP earned from them. As it stands now, as a gold user, I get between 3-4mil a day when I complete all my quests, plus 250 wiz tokens AND about 100 items to sell/frag.
I did go try out the new quests, just to see what they were like, and it wasn't bad - but I would still be sad to not have as many quests. :(
Not a fan of this, tbh. Other people have said things better than me. But I'll repeat: not a fan of less quests for myself, not a fan of less quests for other people because they won't be buying as much from my shop, not a fan of no longer having quest points so I can't sell quest shop items for profit, not a fan of having to earn rep to buy items I can already buy under the current system, not a fan of the proposed rotating quest giver aspect at all, not a fan of less wizard tokens, not a fan of no more seasonal items, not a fan of the potential of no weekend quest bonuses, not a fan of where Morty Cards fall (and the fact that now we have to cancel quests could cause us to waste them), not a fan of the impact this will have on seasonal currency given by quest givers, not a fan of the impact this will have on achievements, not a fan that reputation points seem like a new currency so we're going from one currency (quest points) to a dozen (rep points per NPC), not a fan that it seems like we can lose significant money on questing now, the fact that so many expensive items are being asked for that this sounds unsustainable (and would cause people who are saving up to buy these items to miss out as other users give them to quest givers)....
Am a fan of...easier to buy buttons, the concept of rep points with NPCs in general (just not for this), more NPCs giving quests....
I do feel there's really other things Subeta needs to address. Like, we still have a link to the 2013 plot under Currencies. Isn't it time to put those in the Antique Shop? And where's all the new jobs we were promised? Please, I need a psychologist and a magic-based career at least. How about follow ups to whatever is going on with Gunter and Bubbles? And someone mentioned a teahouse? That is so long ago, I remember nothing about that. How about a new pet? Or new pet color? Another Reading Drive or Restock War or Epicon? Or a Quest a Thon? Or how about another plot in general? I loved both of the Masquerade plots. And worth mentioning again - please new jobs please. What happened to Tubular Tiles? Is it ever going to come back? There's probably others I'm not thinking of.
It also makes less sense to me. The idea that people aren't spending enough time on subeta...so let's reduce quests and have users complete quests even faster so they...spend less time on subeta because they're already done, and/or they're stuck behind a reputation wall and can't do any more for the day...
EDIT: Recycling is the biggest slog on site IMHO. And I think it shows with how much Ametsuchi costs compared to other legendary weapons. I would fully support a Recycling overhaul before a Quest overhaul. Also, speaking of legendary weapons...is Riptide even earnable? I've heard rumor it's been broken and hasn't spawned in Ocean Depths for years. So perhaps revamping how to earn a Riptide would also be a worthwhile time investment.
EDIT 2: I don't think it's a bad thing if users store currency. I know I feel happy when I see the numbers; that is me playing the game. And this quest revamp is now going to encourage me to hoard even more--because I don't know how much sP and wizard tokens I'll be able to earn in the future. So have to hoard now while I can. Other players have also given reasons why they sit on currency stacks: they are saving up for a super expensive item and they don't have enough yet, they're saving up for Luminaire to buy gifts, they're planning on a hiatus and want to have a stockpile for when they get back, they plan on buying all at once (such as when they have enough to buy one copy of a book per pet), just collecting currency is fun in its own right and not all that different from collecting plushies or stickers, and yes, some people are hoarding for the future, and that's not a bad thing.
EDIT 3: Extra quests and auto pricing are all I care about from gold accounts. If extra quests are sliced, I see little reason to care about GA.
