Please make the Kumos system more like the legacy system. At the moment if we want to do an NPC main shop search we have to do it manually or click on the item image and do search from there. Why can't there be an ordinary shop search next to the requeated item itself?
Mostly because I haven't wrote the code for user shops entirely, yet. You can see the items for purchase on the item page (clicking the item, clicking the details, or shop search!) and that's the amount of the user shops code I've moved over, they're very big!
I'm working on these issues today - very annoying how many bugs have popped up over the last few days mostly introduced by me trying to make the item selection more fair :( I'm going to take some time to follow the whole quest chain and make sure that each piece works, so through the day you might see something like 'buy from user shop' or 'buy from main shop' go away from the options (i'll probably be posting here too!)
Also for those of you noticing the main shops disrepencies, it's because main shops are being moved over / tested. I'll have a separate thread for those 🤞 today, there shouldn't be any big issues though!

I love the layout for this so far! I'd love to see even more images to spice up the layout a little. Maybe add a speech bubble for the NPC text to fill the extra space on the right?
I really hope you will keep the easy way to complete these quests. I've done daily quests for a long time and this has made things smoother. I know some are against it, but if there's any way to keep this new system, I really want it!!
Will people's reputation be reset when everything is finalized and ready to officially go? Or will those who help with all this testing have a reputation leg-up on those who don't want to deal with/can't deal with all the errors?
Clicking on an item, buying and successfully finishing works again. However "buy from main shop" option still is no longer there. And Kumos loads a lot faster - mostly.

The rewards page isn't showing rewards and then autoadvancing to the main page for that quest on like half the quests I'm doing. Very odd.

Okay so I apparently did half my quests before seeing the post on what you're looking for feedback on lol.
The quest bar is working fine for me, I've been able to turn in items and complete quests through it. I was able to purchase items through NPC shops and withdraw them from my vault with zero issues. I've never had an issue with the quest completion page, although it often seems to lag a bit. I wish it had a link to just go back to the main page for the quester, although I suppose I can just click on them in the little navigation bar that has all the quest NPCs.
The confetti is cute but feels maybe a little excessive to see on every item turn-in, heh.
Using the quest bar is definitely slower than the previous method of quests and in general I don't prefer it because I generally navigate the site using my laptop with my drawing tablet as a 'mouse' and it sometimes has issues with this kind of navigation for some reason. It keeps doing this for some reason, and while everything was working great when I first started, now for some reason it doesn't always like to open up the little details thing for the middle item. So without a link to shop search, it's inconvenient for me when it comes to quests, as well as being less streamlined in general. But I do think the idea has potential! Especially for quests that are a little more involved than these ones, or things like Drill's or Battle Quests. Having the quest bar pop up upon getting an Oracle Quest also seems like a great way to not accidentally miss them like I'm pretty prone to doing!
I like the idea overall! For this style of questing I just prefer the previous method.

Kumos is lagging really bad for me right now. Like it takes over a minute per pageload or I just get a gateway timeout and sometimes the button to start the quest just doesn't work.
I'd like to see the new quest bar thing when the site's running again, it sounds interesting!
The item hovers hide behind the element boxes of the other items in the quest making it difficult to tap on the details section. It could just be because I am on mobile
Edit: I got frustrated with the quest bar and went back to the older version.
when i do quests today, they are going through, BUT they are not showing the completed page that shows what you were rewarded. they are just going to the reward page and there is nothing listed at all then it refreshes itself and goes directly back to the start quest page. if i click on the view history, i can see what the reward is.

I'm working on the issue with the clicking on the items now (it's an issue with how they're loaded there, I'm not 100% sure why it's happening), but now there is a 🔎 icon, which if you clickit, it'll take you to a user shop page which should remove the need for clicking on the item regardless.

yep, this is what was happening to me too apart from it being very slow to load anything. I didn't notice anything crazy expensive today though.

Not sure if this problem was mobile only (as I was only testing mobile questing), but the quest page that lists the quests could use an indicator of "currently in progress" quests. I didn't realise that I was in the middle of my final quest in Maybel's quests until I looked at the reputation not matching the others.
encountered this trying to buy from usershop (the only option to obtain the item):
clicked the item and opened the shop in another tab: there were lots and I bought it fine. once I did that and refreshed the quest page, I was able to use from inventory and complete the quest.
Right now I'm pushing testing to https://currency.kumos.subeta.net/quests - use that URL! That moves the quest to a new 'top bar' that navigates around the site instead of letting you do it automatically. Once I get a little more progress on this it'll (most likely) replace the version now.
You should take a look at that link as well! It's a lot more like the old system, and I implemented the shop search!

unfortunately, that's how it was for me too. I had to switch to switch to desk top on my phone and even then the top bar was extremely smushed. I do like that it let's you know you have something than can be turned in though. Helps you keep track of what's still needed.
