So like, you can't use them for construction but. This company is by far the cheapest around here. The actual trash places are twice as expensive, which is ridiculous.
I'd look to see if you have a township cleanup day around you too, Kat! Sometimes you have to drive your stuff to them, sometimes they come pick it up. It's cheap though, for like, a truckbed full.
Yesterday I walked over 10k steps again so.. nice! Two days in a row! :P We got the swing sanded and painted, I'm going to go pick up some fabric after work to cover the arm things and the.. middle section thingy. Super fancy terminology here :P
Those look similar in price to that service I was looking into, but they haul it away for you and charge by the amount that a truck is filled. It's actually really cheap to rent a small dumpster from our local garbage company.
I feel like I walked 10k steps just to find the stupid stakes at Lowes. I also realized that walking a lot in flip flops is not going to be something I can do after having plantar fasciitis. My heel was really bothering me by the end of the multiple store trips.
I didn't know there were perennial vegetables either, Kat. :P Should've looked into these years ago! I love asparagus but hate the pricing. Almost got some blackberry bushes but I know those need time, too.
My room is pretty dark, but it's on the opposite side of the house and I've got black curtains and on one window that gets the Western sun I also have blinds on it b/c the curtains aren't blackout. Makes quite a cozy atmosphere. :D

Mmm. I'd probably need a bigger one unless I arrange something else for the appliances. Off the top of my head I know that.... I have two washing machines, one or two dryers, a fridge, and a dishwasher. Then there is two or three old trampolines, peices from two or three old swing sets, three or four old vinyl pools, plus the metal/plastic bars that goes to at least two of them, a motorcycle that is in pieces, four old tires, 3-4 old aquariums, many old bicycles, a couple old dog cages, tons of random old tools, several old grills, and other miscellaneous bits .... Oh metal shed peices...ummm lol lots more I keep thinking either dumpster it all or find a way to sell some of it for scrap metal...if scrap dealers will come get it like old cars
Oooh vesnali has started!!
Yay Vesnali!
Just went Easter egg hunting, lol. Here's my latest haul from the past 2.5 days. (they all lay at different times so I'm sure there'll be a couple more later this evening)
Love how the blue is becoming more distinguishable from the green.
And yeah, that's a lot of big stuff. I would probably start with posting an add to see if any scrappers would want to take some of that stuff off your hands.

Oh yeah Kat, I would for SURE see if scrappers would come nad pick it up. That'll be a gold mine for them, so they definitely should!
I picked up fabric for the swing today, and more spray paint and sandpaper for the glider. And two new outdoor rugs for under the table, because mine are 5 years old and plants have grown through them now. :(
AND asparagus! Got some nice skinny stuff, so I'm excited about that!
Sorry guys, been crazy busy trying to figure out schoolwork again. Lets just say ... AGH. I have to email 2 different people at SCTC to try to figure out something that will be worthwhile, even if the credit doesn't transfer, and I have to email Mercer to find out of that class AND a Spanish class will transfer or not.
I guess I'll look into finding somebody who might come haul some of that off this summer....when I hopefully have more time :P
Made us a flower board, if ya'll want to use that. Vesnali Board

I'll have to flower and such tomorrow but.. look at the swing! I honestly love the way it turned out. It was hunter green.. and rust. With some navy blue spots :P And the fabric was.. tan?
Went to RenFest today

[edit] May 2nd 450pm Just completed my last assignment for this semester for college. Have my schedule set up for summer, and then I have to add the spanish class for fall (I did get confirmation it will count) - but I also have to talk to financial aid because everything is still listing combined income for pell grant, and I cannot get enough aid due to increased income if they count both, but the fact that we have seperated SHOULD be counted, according to someone I talked to months ago, but they said it would be summer before they could do anything about it. Once they reduce to just MY income and not combined income, I will get more than enough pell grant do pay for all I need for fall semester....and then I'll have to see what happens once I transfer to the other college.
[edit] May 3 350pm Well pooh. I just spent 15mins looking at all the battle challengers, and the ones I don't have are too hard for me to get. Oh well. No new challengers this month for me.
Edit Thursday 1pm Gonna answer you over here since the other board is event board ☺️ Donuts looked so yummy....except. I have to take the bacon off. I don't like bacon on things. I love bacon. I just don't eat it on anything lol like I even take it off my bacon cheeseburgers. Lunch sounded good too. And yay for finding graduation things!! Also good for shoes. My mom said to get Merrill's. But I can't wear tennis shoes to work. I've got some hey dudes that are great!!! Was unsure of them but after only three days I was in love. I'll get more when I can afford to.
I thouyght I answered here.. but I must have answered on the other board :P So I'm glad you poked me back here!
Haha well, those are OUR favorite donuts. Isabelle, ofc, got the chocolate explosion :P
I also got a s'mores, that was really good, too! They make them there. They're just.. so, so good. Not an all the time donut though, because they're expensive haha. And, thankfully, kind of a drive! :P
Ahhh for the grant stuff, but YAY that they think they can figure it out!
Hey as long as you enjoy them ;) I plan to talk to financial aid when I go get my books for summer. See if they can tell me anything yet.
[edit] Well crap and now I am really confused, because you know I said I got signed up for the internship class that gave me 6 credits instead of 3, well maybe now I am not signed up for it. I emailed the instructor because I wanted to know if there was anything I had not been told that I needed to do before the class started (it seemed to me that I should have to somehow inform my work/sign some papers, something to be allowed to do this) and found out that I had to be approved by an admin in the program, which I have not been, but no one told me I was supposed to or anything.....so I was told that even tho the class COULD count as credits, I was removed from the class as I had not been approved to take it by admin of the program, and yet - the class is still listed as on my schedule. ???? I am so now totally confused. I sent another email to the instructor (who is also the admin of the program) apologizing if I overstepped any boundaries, but that I was simply trying to sign up for classes that I felt were best, and that I had been advised to take.
Apparently, I do not have all the information required however and since I am getting my advice from the CAP center (who sign you up for classes) I feel they SHOULD have known all that. And told me. But no one did. No idea what is going to happen. But I guess if I do get kicked out of that class I'll just sign up for Spanish, History 2 and something else and freaking do four classes and do my best and get done like planned, even tho I'd hoped to do it the other way.
And I'm feeling all upset/pissed off/annoyed/about to cry over it all but I guess its better I know now and can plan better than to have walked into the class that first day in August and got told off/kicked out then.
[edit] 6am Anyone NOT getting something from the token shop? If you are willing to grab the book, I'll pay you back the tokens for it. I have 2/18 ;)
They actually had multiple WL items I need this time, but good luck!

Thanks for the flowers all! Looks like I missed all of Vesnali, oops! :o
lol yeah not good busy, but busy. Happy to help :)
Sorry kat, I've barely been on, and I needed three! things from the TS, which is insanity!
Today was accepted students day at Els college! We met up with her friend Colette, and we were her family today :P And then after lunch we saw Lilys friend Matt outside and he came over to talk, then he goes "... you're my family today". Which. Awwww. That's perfectly fine, I'll be your family anytime, Matt!
... especially because he always gives Lily rides home from stuff which I appreciate immensely.
You got a forum point while making a post! Check out the shop here!
no worries
awwww for being Matt & Colette's family today! :) Very nice.
I've been quite sad that no one from Katie's group ever comes by (but since she isn't here, and some of them don't even talk to her anymore its not really surprising). I felt like quite a few of them were my "other kids". :) <3
The ones who do stop by when she IS here absolutely still call me mom and love seeing me if we ever run into each other, so that is still nice to have.
What do you do on "accepted students day?" We've never had one of those here, that I am aware of....but then again, Katie did dual enrollment and then online classes and then moved to Statesboro for in person classes so I have no clue if she ever went to welcoming events... I know I did not, when I started going to college classes, mostly because I felt I was too old for stuff like that, and I was doing online classes anyway so didn't need any type of orientation to get around the campus or anything anyway.
