Ha. Maybe that's what I need to get access to, instead of infinite campus, see his Google classroom. He is always telling me there is nothing for him to do in there. I know a lot of teachers have moved back to papers and regular instruction tho...so I dunno if it would be helpful or not. Your highschool is much smaller than ours too, a smaller community....we are a good community but very big ... So that's why I don't think many high schoolers would get that reminder here....

Yeah, she's alternating motrin and tylenol now, and she got some zofran for the vomiting. Poor kid. :(
Probably. I know there are over 1k kids at Nathan's highschool. We have over 500 at our elementary. We are one of the biggest elementaries

Edit 345 Got home, Shane told me the owner next door stopped by. I had called him this morning at the company about my wagon. He gave Shane $100 to help replace it, apologized for it being taken, and then offered Shane $ to pick up the yard and mow it Shane says he also said he is planning to sell the property. Well good luck to him because I will sort out that water meter issue and I will not enter into an arrangement with someone else, they or he should have to put in a new meter if he sells. I will be talking to the water company about that issue after wed anyway so I will mention who gets rights if it is being sold again!!!! Regardless of where the property line falls! Especially if it is in the middle!!! I wish I could buy it but I will barely be able to afford my own mortgage let alone a bigger one for that house. Our houses are valued around 120k.

Rofl My water meter saga eh? Yea. I'm ready for it to be over and done. But that'll be a while still. If he had not fixed the house and offered to sell for property value I might have tried to get it...but not for full value ...I just can't afford that. Prefer him not to sell it honestly because who knows who will get it ? But I guess that's not much worse than who will they rent it to next?
That's true. And whoever buys it, hopefully they'll buy it to live there and you'll get to know them and they'll be good!

Went to vote before work this morning, then work is also a voting place, so there was an election day lunch. I bought myself a piece of cherry pie before I left to go grocery shopping.
Got Lily a rotisserie chicken all to herself, because it was much cheaper than buying chicken breasts :P And honestly, I don't think I've seen her this happy in at least two weeks :P So hopefully she keeps it down!
Tonight we're going to the pancake and sausage election day supper at the church, proceeds go to the youth group. So we'll do that, then El and I are going to the elementary concert to be friends of music :P Lily was supposed to play in the band and help with the choir but.. it'll be fine without her. Matt is stepping up to do it.
Yea hopefully whoever it is, rent or buy, they will be good neighbors. Better be. We got to share the driveway regardless of the water meter issue! :P Walking around the yard yesterday I think I found where the water line to that house runs, but sadly it looks like it goes nearly up to the meter for the split off area, so that idea is no good (I was thinking if their line was split off from my line ON my property = my water meter regardless because their line isn't even running on their own land? -if you know what i mean? - But looks like it's going to be split off close to the meter/property line)
I only like white meat chicken, so I feel for Lily there. I eat other pieces sometimes, I just don't like to, so if I am buying it, I get breasts. I get that it is cheaper to buy other options and as long as she's happy (and hopefully eating something!) its all good! :D I don't think I've ever bought a rotisserie chicken.
I only eat boneless skinless chicken breasts haha.
But Lily likes it all :P And I think she was just glad to eat something that wasn't fruit and crackers!
She's looking up a bit this morning, now I just need to wait until 9 so I can call and see if I have to bring her in again to germ up the waiting room, or if they can just write out an excuse for her..
Yea I prefer that. I will eat fried breasts tho. And I do love kfc skin lol and their gravy.

(I do not know if the water company uses a sight view machine thing like the surveyors or a string? I only have a string)
Guess my next steps are asking how much to actually INSTALL a water meter and connect to existing pipes. The water meter tap itself is 1k

Now to decide to MOVE the fence, or just take it down and have an open yard again (like pretty much every other property on my side of the street lol)

Well based on the property rules I've been reading about, if I leave it like that, then the neighbor can claim that strip of land as his property after an extended amount t of time. So I'd rather move it or at least take it down so that the property line cannot be said to be the fence Especially if he sells ...a new person would think the fence is on the property line for sure I like the idea of moving it...because I like the privacy. Even tho it's just in the backyard. But moving it is a lot more work than taking it down.

And I forgot that that's the neighbor that's moving so.. yeah, that could definitely be an issue.
Yup. Plus that last section is falling down anyway (detached from the 4x4)....the rest of it is ok still. I'm hoping if I do move it, I can just buy new 4x4s and dig the holes and set them, and then detach the sections of fencing and re-nail them to the new 4x4s. Oh and filling in the old holes because I don't want the dog to break a leg. We still have holes from when we attempted a large fenced in area for the dogs in the side yard (they chewed the wire fence and kept getting out. Back to the runner lines they went). its the digging holes and refilling them and making it sturdy thats the hardest part :P I hate digging holes in georgia clay. Its AWFUL. Almost like digging in rock sometimes. (feels like it anyway lol) If I had the $ to afford it (dream dream dream), I would privacy fence in the whole backyard, and let the dog run loose instead of on the runner line - after I fixed up the back house so she couldn't get in it of course. Thats a dream too. Fix up the back house so its livable. And fix up this house too. Dream Dream Dream. If I fixed up the back house, I might live there, its smaller and less to keep up with cleaning ;) lol paving the driveway is a dream too. as is being able to afford to buy the property next door so I don't have such a close neighbor lol crosses my fingers that I win publishers clearing house - i play that instead of the lottery ;)

If you do that.. it'd probably be cheaper to rent a pneumatic post hole digger for a day than to spend all the time and pain it will take you to dig holes.
Also, a related story.. the other day one of the kids was like "What IS this thing" while we were in the garage and Alex laughed hysterically because I apparently GROWLED "It's a post hole digger".
I'm still holding grudges :P
My dreams are.. to get flooring in all rooms of the house. :P And to finish paving the other side of the driveway. And to buy the neighbors houses so they're uh.. not there.
And while i'm at it, I'd make a drop-in center, with stuff for kids and teenagers to do, across the road. It used to be an old folks home, now a hockey team lives there? But there's a gym for gym stuff, and lots of little rooms to do stuff like arts and crafts, homework help, etc. And you could have night classes for the GED or whatever. It's a dream but.. it's my dream :P
I don't think it's worth the cost to rent one? It's like less than 10 posts? That's a nice dream, to do something for others to enjoy ☺️ Flooring is a good goal. Work on that one. Yes. I am seriously thinking about it myself. I mean, I have flooring but it's 20yr old. And I want to/dont want to yank the carpet up in Shane's room where the dip/sunk floor is....see what the concrete looks like. But I'd have to have flooring to replace and cover it up. I don't think I could deal well with plain concrete messed up floor ....

I am good , hope you are too :) About to get crazy busy again, only one more week of school (work) left, but that same week college classes start back up for summer semester, so yikes. Got to get my books for that. Still need to figure out financial aid for fall semester, and hopefully enroll in classes. And then within the next two weeks I am also going to try and figure out the cost of the water meter and apply to get a mortgage hopefully!! :D

oooh yeah OK Kat, 10 posts isn't that bad! Last time I put in a fence it was like, 30-40, and I hated every moment of it. :P But even 5 is a lot, really, when the ground is all clay and rock!

And yes, we have plain, messed up concrete in our bedroom :P And in the sunroom, which.. you can't even see right now, because there's so much junk in there. And there's just subfloor upstairs in teh kitchen.. but we need to take out the entire kitchen there so. It's whatever :P
shoulder? You mean elbow/arm? Its better, by a lot. but also, still aches and bothers me sometimes. I really need to cut down on the pain pills tbh, but when I don't take them for more than a day or two then it really starts aching again.
hahah yea, if I was doing a much bigger fence I would for sure get one, but for 10posts or less, I just cant justify the cost. Not unless I had a lot of spare, which I dont really since there is so much else I could do with it.
;) Hey you got what you got, I know you'll eventually get it set up how you want. Just like me. I may be stuck with a tilted floor for a while longer than I preferred.
I realized I should have gone to the bookstore today. Oh well> I will go Tuesday, as class starts Wednesday next week. They are only open til noon tomorrow. I reallly wanted to wait longer to figure out financial aid but I probably won't be able to. So I'll probably just get the 4m e-book access for the 2 classes I have right now, and deal with fall when I am able to (or not....and have a break from school-which yes, will frustrate me to no end)
