Sorry for the delay it's been kinda all over the place. I had a killer migraine on Saturday and Sunday. Still had a headache Monday but saw to it that I finished the last of the aprons. Today has been cray-cray. There was tons of running around and chores to do in prep for THanksgiving. I got my apron order in the mail though so that also makes me happy. Tomorrow I get to bake pumpkin pies :D

Yeah I'm doing better. I don't work today but I might go out to do some shopping for Christmas and also I've been wanting to go to the animal shelter for a while it's just hard because I can't with Alex cause his issue with dogs and that's what I want to go see

Maybe it just stays up with sheer will power lol. I love Godzilla movies especially the old ones. I love when they first introduced Mechagodzilla and lost my mind when the American version brought him in in the latest film. My favorite is actually the latest of the Japanese films called Shin Godzilla (2016). I know a lot of people didn't give it the time of day here because the first few forms of Godzilla are pretty silly looking but his final form is so cool and terrifying and it's whole commentary on governments poor response of natural disasters was very interesting

That's great you're doing Christmas cards! I used to really be into doing all things Christmas but I gave up when life got too busy with other stuff. :-P Just finished with my food prep for tomorrow. I was going to make myself a Crustless Pumpkin pie as I don't/can't eat flour but I may not make as I'm pooped. I did make some fresh cranberry sauce with ginger and crushed pineapple. I used stevia since no one else would eat it anyway. Liz and Philip don't eat anything red. :-D

No the hectic wasn't bad just picking Liz up from work, running errands and grocery shopping I haven't even thought about Christmas yet. Hubs and Liz never want much so my main shopping will be on subeta.

When our big dog "Baby" passed a year ago Liz and I went to the animal shelter and played fetch with a pup there. It was fun but the pup really just wanted us to love on it. :-) Enjoy your day off!!

- I know, right? And it was the hubby's idea. I never would have thought he'd do it but he did w/out any prodding from me. I can't believe I got him to buy turkey on his own. rofl :D <3

- have you ever tried the Monster coffee Irish Cream flavor? They can't keep it in stock here (and not because hubby buys it by the armful, either). It tastes like it has whiskey in it w/no alcohol at all. I'm amazed at what they can do with flavors these days. :D <3

- now, if he gave me a dremel w/the cast I'd have no problem. As it is, I have no way out of a cast unless I chew my way out. Why don't they take the nerve pain into consideration? 😔 <3

- well, if I could get my kids to behave by pure will power then I could definitley get my hair to stay up that way too! lol 😂I haven't seen any of the new Godzilla movies. The last one I saw was sponsored by Doritos and it was ok. I've never thought of Godzilla in a socio-political way before but you have a point there. :D <3

Oh yeah from the start it's always been a socio-political commentary that eventually lost it's original themes due to extensive cuts in western (especially North American releases) and commercialization in Japan itself. The history of Godzilla and it's evolution from a symbol of national tragedy to a b-film campy monster is very fascinating (in my opinion at least haha) Godzilla is one of my "special interests" as my fiance calls it lmao I could talk about it for hours so sorry for just info dumping about it to you
