-my hair was similar to that way back in the 80s. It was asymmetrical, shorter on one side (bottom of the ear) and on the other it was chin length. I had it shaved in a strip from behind one ear around to the other ear. It was all one color (red) with streaks (blond). Now, it's waist length and dark brown. Interesting how things like hair styles change over time. ;) kamen rider? I had to look that up. I haven't heard of any tribute, cw or otherwise. Then again, I really don't keep up with CWs. :D

I think he wants pot roast because he's going to his parents on the week-end and will have turkey there. I didn't mind as we usually do some sort of beef as hubs and Liz aren't crazy about turkey and I eat ground turkey all of the time. But I'll be making the more traditional sides cause I have to have something that reminds me of my childhood on Thanksgiving. LOL! The cranberries and eggs is actually cranberry sauce plus deviled eggs but I was typing from my phone and I can barely see what I'm typing so I may have typed it wrong. :-D You're smart to not brave the stores this week! She still likes BF the best and told BF that they're just friends but either he couldn't understand her or he doesn't care as he's the one coming over on T-Day. :-)

- I wish we had a local parade to watch but DC doesn't hold one. Plus my youngest loves the Macy's parade so we usually just turn that one on. How sad, I'm sorry. I can relate because my step-dad died around Halloween 6 years ago and for a few years the holiday just wasn't the same for me. :) <3

- That works. My aunt and uncle always grill steaks on the holidays because they just got tired of the traditional fare. We're thinking of doing steaks for Christmas. XD I was hoping that was a typo but I just had to know what was in a recipe for cranberry sauce with hard boiled eggs in it. 😆 The important thing is that they're all happy. :D <3

One year I just bought a turkey breast and it still was too much. And hubs would never touch white meat as he says it's too dry. I'll probably get the veggies for the roast ready but he's going to cook it. He grills it on the grill then cooks at a really low heat in the oven for about 3 or 4 hours and it's always yum! :-)

No. Just having a hard time but I'm okay right now. Just a lot of mood swings which happens more frequently when I'm stressed.

Yeah my hair has changed a lot since I was younger. I used to keep it short and the natural hair color as an early 20-something year old because I cosplayed a lot so I just kept it that way to easily cosplay everyone I wanted to :) Yeah Kamen Rider isn't super popular out here in the states but it's getting more popular as people are embracing more Japanese culture that isn't just anime/manga. It's basically Japan's superheroes (like dc or marvel) but more "family friendly" I use quotations because it's a lot darker than what we would consider a kids show here. It's usually aired alongside Super Sentai which is what our Power Rangers is based on.

Thanks I'm doing better, just mood swings are crazy but we talked and it's okay (it's better) and things will need to be worked on but we still have our holiday plans which is good. Yeah I'm glad I'm okay, all our friends are okay. Our old roommate knew someone who passed however and we had a customer today at work who said his wife knew a couple who got hurt. It sucks to see it hit so close to home. And the fact some other customer made a joke about it at work angers me. Such disrespect :(

- when it's just me, the hubby, and the boy child we only do a turkey breast because a whole turkey is way too big for us. We get ours from a grocer here that puts the turkey breast in a packet with gravy. You pop the packet (unopened) into the stove (in a baking dish) for a couple of hours and you have roast turkey breast in gravy. It's so good hubby went back and bought 4 more of the item so he'd have them for other holidays. lol That roast sounds tasty. That's it, make the hubs work on a holiday! 😂 :D <3

- I stopped messing with my hair when my first kid came along. That's when I started growing it. Now, all I have to do is grab a pencil and twirl my hair and it's up and out of the way. Easier that way. ;) My hubby knows all about that kind of stuff. I'm not much on manga but anime is amusing at times. Interestingly, I was never really into American superheroes, either. I spent my days with my nose buried in Tolkien instead. :D

Aw well that's still amazing to me. I see these people with super long hair who just put it up with whatever they can find and I'm like :O how does it stay??? I haven't had really long hair since I was in middle school (it was down past my waist lol) Yeah I'm not super into Anime anymore (more of a high school/college thing) but I really enjoy Tokusatsu (Kamen Rider is technically in the same grouping as old Godzilla films which I also love) My fiance wants me to start watching the Lord of the Rings since I've never seen the movies or even read the books

Yeah things will get better eventually. And yeah I hate people, a lot of the people here aren't quiet about their hate or beliefs. I don't have a problem with being vocal about it but like not at the expense of others lives
