I have boxes in my LR still, and decorations on top of the couch. Its all been taken down tho. I just need to put it away. Once I decide WHERE. (closet or back in the attic). Would love a different option. But do not trust putting things out in the backhouse. Have had snakes and mice/rats back there. Ruined a pool one time - mouse chewed it up for a nest. So would rather have in the house. But do not like attic and want to clean it out. Sooo I am really leaning towards closet, but its a mess again. (not a complete mess, but I would have to rearrange stuff to fit these boxes in)
Hmmm.. maybe a good time to clean the closet out, while you're still off? Then you can put everything in the closet, instead?
All of our holiday stuff is just.. piled in teh sunroom which is.. slightly scary haha.
Oh today is my last day off. I have to go to work tomorrow, thursday and friday. Teacher work days and professional development. yay. FINALLY. Stupid slots. Finished drills. Got another 60 crystals, and Drills beat out Drunk Carl and gave me [item2=Lyrical Priggle Boots] and [item2=Pink Heart Cookie] which is a wishlisted food item, so yay!
Most of what is in the closet needs to stay in the closet is the bad thing. I need to get Katie and Shane to go thru some of it. I may yank all that out and put it beside my bed with the rest of their crap. Part of the reason I want to go thru the attic is to get rid of things. If its been in the attic for 10yrs obviously we don't need it anymore. Some of it is sentimental tho. Just like some of the stuff in the closet. So it will be hard to get rid of.

Yea. Especially since I do want it done. I honestly meant to work on some of it over break but you know how it goes..... :P I had to quit about 3 drills. I quit the ones where he asks me to play with pets or feed them. All are in the resort and happy except Kayano, who is my Gourmand and I feed wishlisted items to, so I don't want to feed him random things.

Ugh. Back into Lilys room I go. It's a disaster, and she's only working on it if I go and help. And she's like "no, I don't need help" but then I go in and help anyway and she loves it. SO.
But UGH. She's seriously about 30 loads of laundry in. Like.. how is this possible?!

Ok you encouraged me, so I went and moved a thing or two and found room to put the boxes, stacked up in the closet. Now the only thing left in the LR is the lights. I want to roll/wind them up carefully and find a box to put them back into (I have like 3 light boxes in my closet, high up, gotta get em)
Ugh my kids did that too for a long time. Then I could just go in and sit there and told them I wouldn't leave until it was clean, and I would point stuff out they didnt pick up (they hated that part). LOL This past time tho, I just cleaned Nathans room while he was gone with Shane. Bad me I know. But I'd asked him to clean multiple times and he never did and it was disgusting. So I cleaned it. And vacuumed it. OMG the bb's for teh bbguns alllll over the place. Like, he just spilled it and never picked them up. Ugh. It probably needs cleaning again by now but I'm TRYING to not go in there and let him live in his mess til I can't stand it again.

No, its just messy, not a disaster :P I cleaned it up pretty recently (like November?) since I knew I wanted to wrap Christmas presents in it lol Made it easier to just move a few things and shove the boxes up against the wall. Still want to remove the things that are Shane/Katies from in there and put them out by my bed. Maybe I'll video call them one day and go "trash? Donate? keep?" for all their items LOL Since I keep forgetting to make them go sort it while they are here.
I autopriced my shops and removed/fragged everything under 5k, so got another 183 crystals.
Thats a lot of waiting ;) I usually spend the training points around 25k for Shassy. Unless I've just forgotten completely about it. The highest I had was around 50k points I guess.
Edit: its a pretty large walk in closet - nathan used to use it as his bedroom when he was a toddler. So it fits a twin size bed across the short wall, and its the length of the hallway so like probably at least two twin beds in length on the long wall. There are hanging shelves across two walls, one long, one short, I have my work/dress clothes hanging there, along with katies fancy dresses, graduation gown for S&K, and formal wear for R, S, N and dress shirts for S. An old fashioned radio/record player/8-track player (that tells you how old, records and 8tracks!!) is on the short back wall under the shelving. Dresser, boxes, standing shelving units are along the other long wall. Then random stuff is shoved under the hanging clothes and in corners and on top of the shelves. The middle is fairly cleaned up, tho at times it gets all kinds of random stuff just tossed in there. Right now for instance, a bunch of old twin size sheets, since I want to see if I have any sets before donating them, as we now no longer have any twin size beds.
Ooh man, I wish you lived closer! All the kids have twin sized beds LOL. Lily DID find some sheets in her closet, though :P

At the moment I seem to have.... purple top & bottom sheet (missing pillowcase), lime green top sheet and pillowcase (missing bottom sheet), three grey top sheets - threw away one grey bottom sheet because it had a hole in it, red top sheet. Teal/blue/green top & bottom sheet (missing pillowcase). Weird how stuff disappears. I'll see if I can find the other parts before trashing or donating them. I should have full sets for all of those, excepting the grey bottom sheet I just trashed. So weird. I think perhaps the red/grey pillowcases are on Nathans pillows tho - because he has like 5 pillows? lol I can't say much. I have 4 regular pillows and a body pillow too (So yea, I have 5). I have a queen bed tho. He currently has a double (full), and now Shane has a double, but he has a brand new sheet set for his, including new pillowcases. I need new pillows tho. I stuffed the two softer ones into one pillow case to be comfortable. The other two are too compacted/hard to sleep on. I use them for the cat to sleep on when she's on my bed LOL I also have 3 mattress covers, two are thicker, one thinner. Going to see if Shane wants them for his truck bed. Or Ryan. Before I trash them/donate. Haven't decided what I should do. They aren't in top notch condition but aren't horrible either. Also I have one red twin comforter. No clue where the other comforters went that match some of the sheet sets (the grey/red/teal colored ones-the red one probably goes with the grey sheets? I'm not sure anymore). I also have Nathans red top sheet in my room for the full bed because he doesn't use top sheets. I don't think Shane does either, so I may end up with HIS top sheet in the pile of extra bedding as well. The purple and lime green sheet sets I know did not come with comforters. The kids had blankets waaaay back then when we got those sheet sets. In fact, I have 3 twin fuzzy blankets in my closet :P No clue if they are the kids or mine. I got rid of about 4 others years ago lol When I decided I had too many blankets.
Top sheets are the WORST. I hate them and always have, even at hotels, I need to immediately go and untuck them. I use a throw blanket and then wash that often, and was the comforter on top every month or so.
Check the local animal shelters, they often want old bedding and towels!
Spent another 200m today on plushies. Down to 363 that I need :P
Nooo I love my top sheet. I do not like to feel the comforter. Of course, I have those soft cotton tshirt sheets. I can't stand the other kind anymore, even tho thats what everyone else likes. Hotel sheets are horrid, and yes, tucked in waaaay too tight lol I have seriously been debating getting a weighted blanket, because while at first, I found I couldn't sleep because I was cold with only one blanket, now I find I cant sleep if I take the top blanket off because I cant feel the weight of it. So on my bed I have my top sheet, my comforter and a soft fuzzy blanket on top of that (sherpa type). When I wake up hot I throw off the sherpa and then end up dragging it back on to fall back asleep after I cool down. Ugh. :P
Ooh good idea. I know we have one in town, plus there is Noah's Ark, they do wildlife animals, but also do cats & dogs & such. I would love to get rid of my towels and buy new ones, but meh. Would have to wait for good sale and good towels. The ones I have are still fine. A few have unravelled at the end a bit. Nathan bleached a couple older ones when he dyed his hair. lol

Oh and I need to correct myself. My dumbbutt thought today was Tuesday or something. Maybe just a brain fart I dunno...so yea. No I go back to work Wed, so I have one more day off lol And....I tidied up my bedroom, got a bunch of crap off the floor in addition to all that bedding, and vaccumed! YAY It needed it. I also vacuumed my way down the hall lol I will probably vacuum the LR later or tomorrow.

I have a weighted blanket that I use on the couch or something. Sometimes in the summer!
I have.. bottom sheet, me, thin throw blanket, comforter, and then two of the heavy "the big one" blankets from Kohls. Ones a king and one's a queen. And Alex has a blanket, then one of the big one blankets in a queen :P But he uses those all all year long, I can't! I end up throwing off some of the blankets overnight too though, once it gets warm. I swear, men are just walking, talking space heaters...
Its weird. I rarely feel like doing something, but if I get a bit restless or bored, and then I start cleaning, its like, ooooh thats what I wanted to do LOL - get up move around, do something. not necessarily clean, but it works. so thats how I get my cleaning done lol and sometimes once I start its just easier to keep going. I did all the dishes this morning. Like, handwashed everything that didnt fit in the dishwasher, all of them :P Except - I didn't wash the cast iron skillet. Its still sitting there full of bacon grease. I told Nathan if he used it, he had to clean it. Guess I'll have to MAKE him do it, since its been there over 24 hrs now. I have to pop into the store tomorrow too. I need to get something for lunches for the next 3 days or i'll end up eating out and that generally costs more. I don't mind eating out at least once, but not all 3 days. But have nothing here except stuff to make a PBJ. Dont have anything to go with it tho (no fruit or chips or anything). Just dessert lol still have cookies, candies and lil debbie cakes.
What did El make for dinner? I had a pork roast that I put in the crock pot. It wasnt too bad. Usually we have had those smoked on the grill or in the smoker, but I didn't want to mess with that and Nathan was asleep, so I popped it in the crockpot. Then we had our usuals - rice, biscuits, can veg.
Chicken breasts, corn with onions, and buttered noodles. A very yellow meal :P But tasty!
What else do we have out this week... leftover marinated skirt steak, that'll turn into a stir fry. We have napa cabbage still, too. We have a turkey out, Alex will butcher that tomorrow. So we'll have turkey breasts and probably mashed potatoes at some point this week? And also a turkey soup.
I have a spiral sliced ham out, I'll make that, and some green bean casserole, because it's been requested.
A baked ziti, also requested, and there's hamburger already out.
And then El requested this.. salmon/feta/spinach/tomato/rice dish thing, so we'll have that later on in the week, probably.
I was just looking at the tree.. and decided I was just.. done with it. So since Alex was here, and could reach, had him take it down the rest of the way. I'm not going to lie, I'm always just as glad to see it go as I am to see it come up. :P
Yea...once you feel done with it, its got to go. Sounds like you have a yummy menu ahead. I pulled out a thin steak for tomorrow. No idea after that. Except Friday will be ChickFilA :P Therapy Friday, followed by CFA.
How...how the heck. How did I miss the new dinosaur battle challengers? Got Mama Mush going thru the ice fields so went and challenged and won, then decided to look at other opponents, and saw new dinos. Battled the easier ones. Could only do the white speckled on once. Cant even try the triceratops looking thing.

Children were not super super thrilled to be off to school, but Lily did very well this morning getting up and ready and not rush rush rushing and making us both yell and cry on her way out the door LOL
