Had a lovely day seeing a friend and her new baby! I'm not really a baby person but I still can't deny how cute they are! Then had a little mission to go to my friend's old house (she's moved 5 hours away) and look for a parcel she got sent there by accident! Found it but felt like I was doing something I shouldn't be 😆

I do a lot of telephone counselling - it's actually been quite popular since covid and there's definitely some benefits to it, as long as the person feels comfortable and has privacy!

Nathan was on the phone 5mins. He didn't like it LOL He said it felt awkward. But its ok. At least it was a check-in for him.

I skipped 1 question and got 2 wrong (I was hurrying at the end cuz I was almost out of time, I don't know if those are the ones I got wrong, or some others I did earlier, there were at least 2 I was unsure of earlier). Got a 92 on the test :) I hate studying. I really do. I will read over stuff, but I don't try to make myself remember it because honestly that makes me feel like my head is so stuffed and awful and about to explode. So I just read over and hope I remember enough. Then if I have time, I check my answers. Thankfully a lot of these I did remember (over half were from the earlier assignments).

Lily likes phone counseling, but she also likes going in person... I think she just likes to flop all over his chair and know all the attention is on her.

Yesterday though, she had a phone med check.. like, a video one? Our internet went out right after I left here and didn't come on until we got home late last night, so we went down and parked at the church and used their wifi. She was so distracted by everything going on outside the window, and he asked about school and she was like, YELLING in excitement, and in the middle she was like "LOOK AT THIS LEAF ROLLING DOWN THE ROAD" and he goes "... how did anyone ever think she was depressed and DIDN'T have ADHD?!"

So.. that was kind of funny.

Had to go pick up the pizza for the football game at 4:30. went fine, it was fine. Running the concession stand and getting ir ready was all good, we really did a great job. BUT. We sold out of pierogis, pretzels, pizza, hot chocolate (over 475!), and meatballs before the third quarter was halfway through. It was insane. We were like "Well.. we have walking tacos, nachos, hot dogs, and coffee." We even sold out of CANDY BARS. Like.. what the heck?! We had a crazy, record breaking night. And E sold over $350 in merch, which is the most we've ever done, even after a day at a festival or something. IN. SANE.

BUT. Our lines were still never nearly as long as any of the other nights, so.. go us!

Ahhh I love babies, but also, I'm so happy to give them back now. Like.. here' this is wet, loud, or smelly. I'm out. :P

I shouldn't let people talk me into things hahha. I just called AT&T to change my payment due date and OF COURSE they have to go thru the whole spiel about their products and services. I kept saying, no i only have home internet. Yes, I play online games, yes we watch movies from streaming services, or tv shows that way. NO I do not want to change my cell phone lines, my husband likes verizons services...no I dont want a home phone line.... Then she is like, OH I do see you are eligible for "whatever name of internet" here, and I don't think the price will change, will you let me look? Ok Sure, I mean, its 3x faster, so if its the same price why not? Ahhh but no, its $10 more. Well for 3x faster, and only $10 more, why not again. Bad me. So then she also tells me that as soon as "yadda yadda internet service is available in my area" they will contact me, because I am eligible for that and it will cost LESS!! Isn't that great? Yea sure, if I can actually get it :P Anyway. an extra $10 isn't bad since I am getting a pay increase starting this month anyway, and I know Nathan and I will be happier with faster internet anyway. However they can't get a tech out to change it until November 8th. Meh. Whatever lol Hope they don't charge me for this month then.

Hahah on Lily thats too cute. I got a text this morning asking me to pay for the phone counseling. Nope. Going to talk to them in person - 1. I don't have the $ in my account I have cash, and 2. WHY should I pay for a 5min phone call??? I mean, I will if I really need to, if it really counts as a session, but to me - it was not. And whooohoooo congrats on sales!! Thats great! Weird that you sold so much but didn't have long lines.

Well, we were working as a team. :P We were really just pushing people through.

And ugh, I'd be annoyed too, with a 5 minute session. But I can ALSO see how they'd count it as one, since they couldn't see anyone else during that time since it was blocked out, you know? But ALSO, if it was his first (and apparently only!) phone session, they should just call it good and reschedule for an in person session.

Right. Thats why I want to talk to them before paying. I understand they blocked that time for him, but it was for an in-person visit originally and the therapist called to see if we could switch to a phone call (NOT US!) and then they were only on the phone 5mins. So.....yea. Talk to them before payment.

Hhmmmmm. My internet better not get switched off. I got a text saying my apt was Nov 9, Wed morning 8-10 am sigh So I went online to see if I can change that because I flat out told the lady I had to have an afternoon apt if they needed inside the house - she didn't say if they did or didn't, but said she'd make sure it was afternoon. Saw this brief notice that said my current internet was cancelled? UHHHH no, it better not be, not until I get the new service installed in NOV!!! They will be getting a rude phone call if they disconnect my internet !!!

Huh. Also while online on the website I saw this thing that said, check your eligiblity for savings - so I clicked it - apparently if you are on medicaid, food stamps, or even if you get a pell grant (ME! ME!), you can qualify for $25 off your internet bill. Hahah. I can SAVE $. I might have to register for that (once I figure out if my internet is cancelled or not!!) :P

[edit] blaaah. So Ok. I kept fiddling around, finally got it to where it would let me change the apt - only to see that EVERY SINGLE DAY ONLY HAS 8am-10am appointments!!! WHAAT?? And no weekend apts? Weird. So anyway I reset my apt for Nov 21, because I WILL be home then (thanksgiving break). Since I saw that it says someone 18 or older MUST be home during the entire apt. sigh

I have been a busy bee today - Did my laundry (2 loads of colors-still have to do a load of towels), washed the bedding (finishing that up now- 4 loads since I'm doing Nathans too) .... Hung up and put away all of MY clothes - Nathans are still in the basket :P He took them to his room tho. So maybe now they are on his bed hahaha. He is as lazy as me I'll admit, he likes to just toss his clothes on top of his dresser instead of putting them away....it often takes me a week or two before I put up all my clothes properly.

Read my Bio chapter, watched 5 videos for bio, printed off the chapter summary, vocab words and PowerPoint, watched the lecture video, then went and double checked I'd finished all assignments currently due - still waiting on more posts for English so I can respond, and decided to work on my assignment paper for English that isn't due for like 3 more weeks just because I didn't have anything else to do :P Maybe I can get someone to go over it so I can fix things if needed before I turn it in.....It didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would to be honest, once I got started....but I'm not sure I've done it right either! :P I will do my chapter assignment in Bio tomorrow, then do the lab too. I have a lab exam next week on the first 6 labs.

ah that is very kind but I have everything I need thank you! Well, bar one book but you don't have that and it's expensive. Plus still have a few days to try for it! :)

Today Matt came over and brought stuff from Dragoncon. I got a shiny sticker that's shaped like a d20 and says dice goblin, some porg shaped truffles that are SO gorgeous and adorable I don't know how I'll eat, a big map of Ansalon (from Dragonlance books), and he got two of my favorite books signed, one by Jim Butcher, and one by Terry Hickman! And he brought cool stuff for everyone else too but uh.. I got the most and the coolest things haha.

We played a game then went to the pumpkin patch, it was actually a really fun day! Then we came home and ate breakfast for dinner, pumpkin pancakes and bacon AND (walmart brand, low sodium) spam, since that's what Isabelle requested.

I saw!! That was awesome too!! You and Luce both having awesome days!!! Iz asked for SPAM???? :o Ok then. hehehe. I haven't ate that since forever (when I was a kid I guess)

About to take Nathan to the fair. Last minute. More expensive. Sigh. But a friend asked him if he would go tonight with her, and I hate to say no when he has a friend to do something with. I did tell him he can't stay past 10 because I need to go to bed! :P (If I had a warning time, I could have got a mega ticket, and saved $10, but eh oh well). He is just lucky I had a little left over from grocery shopping and I didn't need as much gas money this week (no running to Jackson or other places this week saved me some gas).

I talked to the mom friend I have from youth group and she said my two pledge girls did get initiated into the older girls group and sent me a picture. I was sooooo close to going yesterday to see it...but decided I needed to not do that.

Yeah, I need to look at Luces pictures! I kind of saw them earlier, but then we hit the dead zone in the truck haha.

Ooooh, good for him though, going out, hanging out with people!

I will say, these season passes have been so great! We ended up spending $6.50 today, and that's only because we all decided to split some tater tots LOL. Even the gem mining came with the passes. Very good value, at least for us.

And I'm glad the two girls decided to go to the big girls! Hopefully they like it.

I'm a little leery right now.... there was NO ONE at the ticket booth, but people all up inside the fairgrounds, there was a gate open right in front, near the petting zoo area, and while we looked around, we saw several people just walk in thru there.... I wish his phone was working. I told him if he saw a friend who did have a phone with service to text me he got in and got his armband.... I am thinking maybe they had a table set up at the other side where I couldn't see it? For people to pay admission fee? I don't know. His friend he is meeting doesn't have service on her phone either - they use wifi for whatever chat app they are using (he is using Katie's old phone that way, until Ryan gets him another phone). - doesn't require a phone # that way, just wifi.

756 AHHHH I was right to be leery. He got ahold of me at 730. Said the fair shut down at 7 they were making everyone leave....his friend didn't come, not sure why not (she said she couldn't is what he said to me)... gaaaah. Anyway, I've got him home now. No $S was spent at least, so we'll have that if he wants to go another night. Neither of us thought anything of the fact it is SUNDAY so thats probably why they closed early (and why the ticket booth was already shut at 630-645 when I dropped him off)

Well, at least no money... but that's all so weird. And booo for the friend not showing up. Like.. WTF. Kids, man.

I got surrounded by death eaters. I was engrossed taking a photo and as soon as I turned around I was surrounded by four of them. Took me by surprise. There’s a couple of videos to of the death eaters. Absolutely loved it.

Surprisingly my house was most represented (hufflepuff) my friend who I went with is a Ravenclaw.

They had some new backlots. The Slytherin common room and costumes and models. The herbology class room which was my fave as they had crying mandrakes you could pull. They had the model of the burrow. And gringotts which was amazing.

Had a busy day at work, even though I’m still working from home. Tomorrow is my day in the office😭

Only four more working days then we are off for two weeks. Can not wait. There of course will be loads of pictures on Facebook and on Instagram (sorry Cazzie)
