HI Bears I am back home from Colorado. One of my grand wieners (mini dachshunds) hurt herself, so she wasn't her usual happy self. She injured a hind leg, so she has to be in her kennel and she isn't happy. But we enjoyed our visit very much, it was to short.

Yes, well mine did resolve a minor issue on mine car. A clunking noise was due to a loose ball joint, which was found when mine inspected the brakes for wear. Less than an 1/8 in gap can cause this. Another pending issue is learning to use a smoke machine to located the EVAP leaks triggering the engine warning light.

It seems another problem may have the solution mine intended, a noise from the opposite wheel is no longer present. Mine may have to use a dial indicator to see if the disc rotor is still warped. If not, this may allow resurfacing to simplify a change out.

In shop, mine group is close to fully dismantling mine C6 transmission. The nest step is to remove the second set of planetary gears, clutch pack and remaining components. Should parts for a rebuild be available, this may be mine overall goal.
