Bria just accepted her next contract for 3mths in Dallas, TX. No more weekend visits so I'm going to enjoy as much time w/ her as possible. She leaves on 7/3. Meanwhile my younger brother will be brought back from TN in a few days and I texted him to see how he felt about it and was met with nothing but attitude. If he didn't get his bills straightened out then he's going home to a house w/ no electric. He made that bed and now he's going to lie in it. I imagine that's why he has the attitude.

I had a lovely day and I spent it with seven amazing people. It got quite emotional and I had a few tears when I got home as I was shocked that everyone wanted to spend time with me. I guess I’m just not used to having real life friends who want to choose to spend time with me. It was probably the best birthday ever.

Today we took dad to the coast. There was a slight drizzle but it was much cooler than yesterday as it reached 32 celcious.

Tomorrow Ian and I are going to Nottingham for a couple of days and another two of our friends are coming for the day tomorrow. So should be a good time.

Ladies!!! My pledge girls rocked it !!! All our girls did!!! Poodle skirts, my own daughter won 1st in her age group!! My little girls won 1st and 2 tied for 2nd!!! (Poodle skirts) One of my girls won 1st for the mascots!!! Southern Belle the littles got 4th, 2 tied for 3rd, and 1st!! My own daughter got 3rd in her age group for Southern Belle!! Our other two big girls got 4th (behind my daughter, same age group) in southern belle, and 2nd in grand page baskets - that is where they decorate and fill a basket full of goodies for their grand officer. Guys, we have the biggest VBS we've EVER had.. 34 kids! I had 12 preschoolers, but tomorrow we're moving two up to the next grade level, because there's only 3 of them.

We're also adding a snack for the preschoolers tomorrow, but only the pre-k-ers. Everyone else has to wait for lunch.

But honestly, the day wasn't awful, at all! Maybe the best first day we've had in a long time :P

[edit] 1110am Ok so. After the dentist I came home, helped hubby scan/email a form for his renters insurance (we mailed it, not sure why they didn't get it....) THEN after he left, I decided to vacuum - while vacuuming the dog peed AGAIN (like 4th time in a week) and so I shampooed too. Phew.

that dress is the one she bought for her senior prom, that didn't happen :P Covid. So she has been wearing it to EVERY DANCE for youth group since. She LOVES it. (100) This afternoon I did reading practice and quiz...(100) Now onto last section for computer work for this week This part has been easy so far - I pretty much knew how to do it all already [edit] 535pm For the past 30min I've been having issues with the website the schoolwork is on :( I cannot complete module 3. It gave me an error, then after I logged out and back in, its just sitting there spinning, not loading. UGH Contacted teacher, attempted to contact tech support - that # said it could not be completed as dialed. SO NOW WHAT! argh. Gonna try again tomorrow. The weird thing is, the reading stuff still works....just not the SAM thing I have to use for the computer practice/quizzes. [Edit] 630am

Seems like the overall time was GREAT w/ the group!

Omg this past weekend was SO.NICE. Mid 70's, low low humidity... WOW. I got a lot of weeding done in my gardens, pumped up the kiddie pool my daughter wanted (lol, yeah), and then took one relaxing day to myself on Sunday when "aunt flo" showed up. It was soooo nice out. Crazy, in the middle of the 90's we've been having.

It was supposed to get to 102 this week when I looked at the weather LAST week :o But thankfully THIS week the weather says the highest is only 95. Next week is supposed to be cooler, with isolated and scattered thunderstorms. I hope they go around us, so we can sell, sell, sell! People won't come buy in the rain very much. (A few do, but not very many).

I've been doing schoolwork when not at the fireworks stand setting up. (We tried to only go in the mornings when it was cooler to do the work). Still haven't sorted the computer stuff, but I did send an email/report to tech support since I couldn't use the # the professor gave me. Am doing psych work (NOTES aaaaahhhh) instead while waiting on a response from them. [edit] 652pm Frickin FINALLY. They responded. Told me to do all the things I already did, and if that didn't work, try a new browser. Well I'd already tried on Edge AND Chrome. So I downloaded firefox. It lagged for a minute, then finally loaded the stupid assignment. So I completed the practice and the quiz for module 3. ALL work done in psych and comp for this week - 100s on EVERYTHING!! That brings my grades up to currently 99 and 97 :D :D :D My next assignment due dates are July 3rd and July 5th.

I actually went to make a post yesterday but that's when the site went down. Naturally. Then after the database rebuild, I got that stupid glitch where I can't access my inventory without it logging me out. Had the training glitch, too. Sheesh... site is going to hell in a handbag. Thankfully it's not during an event.

Just saw that Alma, GA broke the record high at 105 degrees yesterday. WHEW!

I want fireworks!! Unfortunately, nothing cool is allowed in my state... although that doesn't stop people from crossing over to other states and getting some. Just have to be careful where you let them off.

Yea we were like that too before it became legal here he would go to Alabama or Florida. One year we had a couple thousand dollars worth and set some off ... The cops got called. He watched us do a few from the end of our driveway then cam up and saw how much we had and asked us to stop so he wouldn't have to take the rest of it 😝 so then we took the rest to Florida and did a better show than the city my mom lives in lol

Yeah the cops are pretty cool about it here, as long as you're not being stupid wreckless. Several years ago my older brother had bought a bunch and a neighbor half a block away had been doing mortar type (BIG booms) and there was a bit of a competition, so it was fun. No police called.

Yup. He said he could tell we were being safe about it, but there was a complaint and it was illegal so....

Left the stand to others for the night. Nathan has therapy. His dad drove him over and sat here til I was almost here because they asked if we could change the time from 5 to 6. No big deal since I could have him bring him and already had arranged for someone else to come to the stand in my place. Now waiting on him to get out, then we will get our Chick-fil-A dinner and go home until I have to meet whoever to collect the $ and ipads so I will have them tomorrow.

[edit] 812am Well I have had to shampoo TWO spots in the carpet this morning. AND I had let the dog out TWICE. So seriously?? Stupid dog. I hate when they get older. I am so seriously about ready to take him and have him put to sleep. I am just so frustrated by having to clean the damn floor because he won't ASK to go outside, he'll just pee. I know he can hold it, and I know he will ask. He just ISN'T!! grrrr So my morning has been : woke up by dog whining at 4am. Woke up by dog whining at 5am. Woke up at 6am to use the bathroom, let the dogs out, get a shower. Make muffins, shampoo one spot. Read some schoolwork, attempt to wake up Nathan, find another wet spot, shampoo that spot. Now here, complaining about stupid dog and having to shampoo.

I actually did a few quests (umm hahah Shinwa, Chase, really, JUST a few!!!) And probably won't get around to doing any more. I at least did do the bathhouse. [Edit] Sunday 1150am Slow morning. Went to do some schoolwork, and forgot they were doing maintenance on the site today. Lol So instead I am doing a few quests

207pm So y'all. Been at hospital for over an hour. Still waiting to be seen by Dr (have been in triage). Nathan was closing his pocket knife and sliced his finger open perhaps to the bone. Very deep anyway. Waiting to see dr for stitches. What a fun day. Hubby went up to stand so I could come here.

345pm Dr has been to look. Hasn't done anything. Got some pain meds. Going to give tetanus shot, prescribe pain meds and antibiotics. Going to get stitches and a splint, follow up with orthopaedic dr. Evidently deep enough cut to fracture the bone . 😲

435pm 3 stitches. Waiting on splint and release papers Btw, this was his pinky finger

622pm I am talking to myself again 😉 Left the hospital at 515-530ish. Got dinner came home. They will call if they have a problem at the stand.

Sounds like Nathan is ok. Last time I cut myself, they put glue (the pro kind) in it and it BURNED, but honestly I think the tetanus shot hurt waaay worse.

I was super tired this weekend. Last week was stressful (work) and Saturday I mostly slept. Couldn't get up except to eat midday then back up again around 5ish. Yeah, PM. Yesterday all the plants needed serious watering and my hose attachment sucks so I soaked myself while watering everything.
Gotta double check on some work I did and hopefully not have a stressful week - you too, Kat!

At least the logout errors of the inventory and News page seem to be resolved.

My work looks good though, so hopefully it will be an easier week. Maybe I'll get a chance to sneak away to go up to the lake beach again.

He has a kennel, for nighttime, and when we are gone. He pees when we are home instead of asking to go out. Hubby is not allowed pets at his place where he is renting. He would refuse to take this dog even if he could (he would try to take the cat! And maybe try to take the big dog), because it is the one I chose to take in from an online friend when she died. Not to mention he never dealt with it anyway, other than using paper towels to soak the pee out of the carpet.

Nathan is fine now. Sore of course. I am at pharmacy waiting for them to fill meds, so I can drop them off for him and scramble to the fireworks stand. He can take care of himself thankfully and could even come out to the stand if he chooses. (Today he doesn't want to, and I have pledge girls coming out anyway, and it will be slow, so it's fine he stays home).

Hehe at least you got cooled down while watering the plants!! And glad you got some rest. I only got logged out once. It's so weird how stuff affects people differently.

Hi everyone! Hope you are all ok? I've not been very well, some sort of cold/infection I think. Quite covid like symptoms but I've tested negative on my lateral flows so pretty sure it wasn't that. Starting to feel better now though :)

Hi Cazra! Glad to see you're on the upswing. It's been awhile since I've seen an event where s/thing was given to me. I had stuff show up in my inventory and if it wasn't for s/one admitting it, I wouldn't have known. As long as you didn't spend your crystals unknowingly, then I wouldn't worry about a ticket.

I think everyone's just been busy doing their own summer things. Work is kinda busy for me which just makes me mentally tired. Hell, I went outside to get some sun a little bit ago just to keep from dozing off in front of the screen.
