Finals are in full swing, though in my case I'm unsure about any exam to be conducted. I know that the class may come to collect our certificates, and so far I know my score is a lower "A". I've chosen to buy a mechanical metronome for my reward, I simply have to wait a week to know if I'll have enough money to covet the difference after my Amazon gift card.

Next semester is halfway secured, I registered for a transmissions course. The loose end is payment, for now I don't have any money for this. I hope to collect what I'm owed to fill the gap, I may try to lowers my expenses by getting online access to the course material. The books are pricey, but I don't know if physical copies can be resold at this time. I have all the textbooks from the last semesters just boxed away...

[Edit] Mine happy to report that I received a call about my collision claim, based on my account and the other driver. The result is the insurance adjuster reports the company will accept responsibility for the damages. I've been given from a selection of body shops to take my car for an inspection. I'll wait until Monday to make my call, to see if I would need to add an alignment to the claim if I cannot do the job myself. One less thing to need to worry for.

[Edit] 12/13 Mine have my instructions for getting my car repaired. Tomorrow morning mine will remove all my things before going to the body shop around 14:00. I'm not sure if I will need to return home by bus or if a rental can be offered.

My friend also gave me an update about me art commission, the artist should be able to return my figure and has something to show. I'm wondering if this is the final product and/or a preview of his 3d modeling. The three of us need to have time for a meeting.

How I fondly remember making bonfires that size, most recently during the summer when I torched the large difficult to split stumps.

A bit of good news today, I've been called for an interview where I've been placing applications. If favorable, I may begin Monday. If favorable, my college costs will be easier to cover.

I was interviewed this morning for a early morning shift, if I get another call today that means I've been selected.

I was also given my brother's part last night, and a friend has told me she can repay a loan after the 25th.

That money will go toward school? I have been thinking a lot about how this country fails students. Getting an education should NOT break a pocketbook, or family finances.

One class per semester at this college is under $500, I think the failing students are who end up in the red after graduation. The ones who are content with C averages...

I mentioned my grades to friends who study or teach, and they agree about the lack of successful students. They also say few if any do the work.

A fire that big would usually be made close to sunset, or the evening. Always fun, just watching it burn...
