I am so sorry you were in an accident! Praying that you don't have any discomfort from it. HUGS
Winter looks AWESOME!!! I can see why you don't want to change him! :O
[edit] I totally forgot to subscribe from the new Huggles board, so haven't been being pinged for posts.....SORRY!!! :( This has been rectified, so hopefully it won't take me forever and a day to respond.....sheesh
Mine have already taken some steps to resolve this, and in some cases await a response. I did mention not being injured, merely shaken from the sudden jolt.
I also received an email from where I submitted an application for employment, as well as a list of openings. I have made a few selections for consideration, and may add to allow for a better chance. Some things are going well it seems.
Despite the inconvenience with my car, I feel that I have to take off today. I don't like being home alone, and going out for a short time is a simple option to avoid any regrettable actions.
I did read that you weren't injured, and so glad you weren't. I was referring to those things that might creep up afterwards. o.O The aches and such that often come after the adrenaline dump. That's what I am hoping you can avoid. I don't like thinking of anyone hurting, even if it isn't severe.
Glad the employment options are still open for you, and hoping it works out how you need it to. ;)
In any case its now time for waiting. My insurance and the other's are in motion to process, and I should be contacted soon. And any openings for a job I can improve by adding a few more options for locations.
I suppose until my car is repaired or otherwise, mine would take my truck the remainder of the semester, which may not be much. Finals are within a month, and certification for the brake course is due before.
Glad you have another way to get to class.
When I explained the situation to my father, he agreed it would be a good idea.
Mine also submitted a few more applications for consideration.
Also mine going to start prep for thanksgiving dinner by making a batch of strawberry ice cream, and gathering what mine taking along. Not coming empty handed...
Do you have public transportation there? I often wondered that. I haven't seen a bus or a taxi in years, since I live in the middle of nowhere, but not sure if you live close enough to something like that. Sure glad the truck is an option tho! Strawberry ice cream.....yum! I have missed making my fruit cakes this year, but am making a bourbon pecan pie. Those nuts have been soaking for a day and a half.....LOL
Public transportation is available here in the form of a rural route bus. I have used it some time before I had access to a car. My only beef with this is that the trip alone takes up the majority of the day's time. And anything I did depended on the schedule, sometimes resulting in coming home late.
Oh my yes! I remember having to take the bus, when I lived in the city....once in my life. lol Never again. That thing took so long just to get across town. YIKES! I enjoyed it when I was a kid, as we lived out in the country, and had to take the school bus into town. But public transit is another story altogether, and boy oh boy that was a nightmare for this ol gal. lol
Don't mind my rambling, just a stop before trying for Level 1 certification on Pro-Cut machines.
A video, and a short test and if successful a step towards better credentials.
[edit] Mine was successful, I have my Level 1 certification after one attempt. I'll pour me a drink later to mark the occasion.

I do wonder if Level 2 would be done during shop. The information states a hands on portion. That will have to wait until December, I recall the instructor mentioning this throughout the semester.
Do you mean for the certification portion of Level 2?
Yes, should I gain that, mine is better suited to use the machines in a work setting. For now all I can do is review the videos and written materials. I have enough experience to want to try, but I know some more practice can help. Open shop could have been a good opportunity to try, but more important matters take priority.
Good that you know the time frame, so you can at least prep for it. It's exciting getting to see how far you have come since you began this journey!
it sure has been a while. hi guys! hope everyone's doing well.
Mine been busyish...has been a while. Welcome back!
