I suppose that's not too bad, but still too steep for some. Saddens me. I just think anyone who wants to further their education, should have a chance to do so, without going broke. I mean, there will always be those who slack off, and take advantage, but why should others have to pay the price for their laziness? Why should only those who can afford to learn, be able to do so? I mean, for a degree, certification, etc. I suppose that goes for a lot of things though, not just education. :( Just has been a pet peeve of mine, for a long time.

I don't have much of an answer for those grievances, mine do this to both fill my free time and to eventually earn a living. I don't know a lot of people who aren't in debt or work where they wanted.

There probably is some kind of advantage of my particular position. It'll take a lot to keep it that way.

I sure wish our country could find a solution. I know there are grants, and scholarships, and such, but not everyone qualifies, or chooses to go that route. Even through high school it can cost an arm and a leg to complete. o.O I am sure proud of you, that's for sure! And it is so exciting learning of your adventures in learning new things, and seeing how well you are doing in all of it!

I know there is a better solution. And it doesn't cost a dime.

Looks like I wasn't selected, no calls that day. I can at least still offer my time to relatives. One month should be enough to raise the remaining amount for tuition.

I am hoping they just got busy, or something like that, and you will still get a call. I know it's happened like that for me several times, with employment opportunities. But if not, I am glad that you have another route to get tuition covered. ;)

You may be correct, that's why I applied to over a dozen locations. If I'm not hired during the holiday season, it could occur later on.

I wasn't on much yesterday, because I spent the day doing only two things, landscaping with a cousin, and my Zoom meeting.

Oh that's smart! I do hope your plan works out for ya! Knowing how folks are about sales at this time of year, it would be great to get in on some of that holiday pay! :O

As far as shoveling dirt goes, mine went again today another five hours paid. I may go tomorrow as well, if they call for me.

I suppose next time I should allow for any position available, my first interview I specified stocker, which to my understanding is an early morning timeframe.

Landscaping always makes me giddy. lol I just love seeing something go from nothing to something, by hard work. Just super cool! Turn a few shovelfuls for me, pretty please? 😊

If it pleases you, I spent this morning cleaning a yard, and in the process took over 13,000 steps. Some of those were included when I ran errands later.

And... This Friday marks one year since my mother's passing. One day at a time...

Oh wow!! Now that's a LOT of steps! :O How is the landscaping going? I was wondering if that is something you are going to be taking part in until it is finished? Oh I would love to do some landscaping here! Moving of some bushes, and planting a few extra flowers, and perhaps some blueberries near the house. Ahhh......I do love landscaping.

It's too nice a day to stay inside an longer, mine gonna clean and regrease my car's front brakes, then wash the old hulk.

I made what I think is strawberry preserves... Though objectively it may simply be mushed fruit in a jar.
