Sometimes mine wonder...
Mine noticed a loose bolt on mine car's transmission selector cable housing. OK, it was not set in correctly. Zo, after determining the size and thread as M8 x 1.25 mine reset the original. It didn't set correctly either, mine dug around for a suitable replacement, and slowly installed it. This one went in well, and mine put enough torque to keep it in place.
Mine not really complaining, but mine would think ASE certified techs would not overlook a simple detail such as this.
Happy Belated Birthday! It fell on our holiday this year and I wasn't online at all. I hope you did something special.
Yeah, me too... I would adopt one to zap and then keep it... hard choices LOL
huge huggies hugs
I struggle with your creative writing. I am sorry I miss so much of what you write. I don't mean to ignore.
Thank you for the That is super sweet kind generous of you! Happy Jewish New Year [box=#eeddcc]Wen has changed into Dragarth![/box]
: Happy Jewish New Year to you too! Little fuzzy shiksa and shegetz creatures wish they had a shofar-blowing celebration! I think my author blew his shofar. I'm glad you liked the present. I hope it works.
: I know about screws. There is a screw on my flier that comes loose from time to time. It holds the wing onto the main upright post. It used to be held in place with a pin and cotter-keeper, but during one of Weldon's infamous crashes, the pin sheared off (as it was designed to do so to protect the wing and post from catastrophic failure in a crash). The only suitable replacement with the same shear-strength was a bolt and nut from the local hardware. But the nut keeps vibrating off, so Lizzi uses two nuts to lock it in place. Still, I have to check it during every pre and post-flight. I have two tiny wrenches in my kit to tighten it when it eventually gets loose. Can you imagine the wing coming off at 2000 feet ( my flight ceiling) ? Anyway...you don't want the wrong screw of bolt. I've seen Marks collection of screws, bolts and nuts. He estimates he has 300lbs of old screws, bolts, nuts, washers and nails that he's collected over the last 50 years. You want some?
I do not frequently crash infamously...You're just making stuff up.
You are famous for crashing.
I have only crashed twice. The first time was when Lizzi invented the flier and nobody had flown it yet.
Which made you famous because you were the FIRST small animal to crash an aircraft you were piloting.
A-HEM! And the second time I crashed, I nearly died!
Which also made you famous because the entire Watcher Corps was sent out in the middle of a civil war to rescue you.
I give up.
You have never been famous for giving up....

An al that is the non fiction, mine own creative well seems to run like the sand dunes.
Oh, no! AL mine gknow about nuts n bolts is that some should not be reused. This is especially true about bolts that have been torqued down, they stretch a few thousandths of an inch. That's al it takes....0.003 inches.
Class was cancelled today, zo mine stayed for snacks and a flu shot. Mine had to watch the shot go in, mine seem to feel nuthin when administered.
Running down sand dunes sounds fun! I am 100% on board with creative. I just let you know I don’t 100% understand.
has some silly.
[edit]
still funny...
Oh, zo this semester's assignments allow one attempt. Zo this means no room for corrections, tho by this time in mine course progress mine should gknow to study an conduct classwork. Nothing like a little pressure to inspire better use of mine study time an strive for as good a grade as possible.
The work load is light, an after finishing mine will take care of some odd jobs in mine house.
: Nothing like pressure indeed. During my training as a healer, there were many times that Master Harriet the Wise told me, "You only have one opportunity to get this right." Like when I delivered my first litter. Babies can only come out one way and you only get one chance to get it right. Boy! That was nerve-racking! That the babies were coyote pups made it even more challenging, coyotes are weasel predators. Pulling a bear's tooth was another "one-shot" bit of training. So you see, we have a lot in common when it comes to training.
You have very little in common with Mr. February30th. He's training for the mechanical arts and you are a healer. They are nothing alike.
Oh I disagree Mr.-Fuzzy-Butt-The Wonder-Weasel. Automobile mechanics and healers are very similar. We both diagnose thingies that don't work, we both apply knowledge to disassemble and reassemble components to affect a repair, we recommend preventative maintenance to our "patients" and we work on a "case-by-case" basis giving individualized care.
So I could go to a mechanic and say, "My bottom hurts," and they would know what the problem is and recommend a solution?
Yes. They would diagnose that you were an idiot and recommend that you come to me to have your head examined and your ass kicked for being so weird.
Mine would also tell Weldon that while a mechanic can't repair a running engine, no doctor can offer unused parts.
: LOL! :)
[avatar=pinksapphire]=wheeeee glad i was able to log in for a few and found out i missed your precious BDay~~~
Now...runs off to your WL
hoping you are healibng in whichever way you need to((((hugs))))

It wasn't too difficult removing the lever assembly from mine tranny, but today's shop centered around pressure tests, and some class gknowledge tests on task. Along the way each group and member broke ground using scan tools and refining our search skill on databases.
Tomorrow is the 1st and with it comes the routine, some shopping, bills and a step towards repairing mine car. Tonight, mine cutting this ugly AF thinning rug off. No new chapters or assignments open, but mine will read ahead for nest week.
<<<<Don't change your HAs, anybody.

A simple shop today, one written assignment, and component clean-up. Now the shop has two cleaning stations, zo each group waited a turn. Mine suspect rebuilding won't begin until the kits are acquired, an shop will continue with other assignments.
A cold rain hit, an what better excuse to fire up the wood stove. Cleaning the range isn't difficult, an though it may still be early to use it more often mine will have it ready when it is time.
The green sorbet does have a brown color, but it has the aroma of the fruit. Mine can sample the frozen treat tomorrow, an see what could change.
I noticed they are not changing so much (RE: HA, wardrobe). What is happening? [edit] It saved my change today.
The rift gave me: today :-)
Oh, you know how it is during events. Seems to be working now.

What did you throw in? I never use the Rift!
$85 minimum for a set of clutch discs, that is what mine would need to buy for a complete rebuild including what will be provided in the course. Mine simply wondering if the expense would be justified if the rebuilt transmission could be sold. Mine just gknow when any rebuild is done, nothing that wears down can be reused.
Mine have a few days to consider this move, the cost is not too much of a bother. Only one concern, what does mine do with a fifty year old rebuilt transmission?
When I throw in junk that are game prizes, I usually get nothing. I think it was something rare but inexpensive. It’s edible so I still need one more lol
diy stuff is SO expensive where we live. Oh well.
yeah. Things happen.
I'm going to start trying it too. :D Thank you! <3
Mine gknow it all too well, an adequate air compressor that provides enough psi for mine pneumatic impact tool is $300.
Mine reading revealed that mine group may have skipped a step during the rebuild, we're supposed to soak and lubricate each seal and bushing before installation. Mine have a few days before nest shop, zo a bottle of Ford ATF should be included in mine shopping today or when convenient.
Also mine sister has asked for mine help, some more clean up of her house's rock wall. Two days worth of smashing and hauling, just what mine needed.
[edit] Who gknew, mine saw a suitable compressor, 40% off which makes it under $200. Mine want to try for this Friday, the nest few days may be enough to have to buy it.
