If you use a cheap potion to change the species then you can use the loyalty box to change it back to spectrum.

The [Item=Miracle Potion II] allows you to change the species of your pet without changing the color. You can use this one to change a pet into any of the experimental pets as well. The allows for the change of the color of a pet without changing the species. Both are obtained from the Cash Shop. :D
