You can pickled beets and turnips together, they will have the same texture. Plus the beets will give a nice color to the turnips. Gee I have made my mouth water.

Turnips didn't grow this yr it was too hot out.Carrots and beets and onions are all that's left. Love going fishing even if the water level s down.
