Thank you, I do agree I am incredibly Blessed! I count my Blessings often. 2 of our kids whom are married share our house, another couple live close-by (5 minutes walking distance). The farthest son (married +1, they are the couple who had a preemie last March) is 2.5 hours drive away which is far for us, but he calls at least once a week and comes to all the family events, even with diverse opinions about corona and everything else under the sun. (He diverted his wife when she started talking about a popular topic with "she doesn't buy into that" to which she was momentarily shocked but we got over it. LOL Our other daughter in law wants to visit as often as possible. On Wednesday after the baby naming, she sort of pouted and said she wanted to stay with us some more. Isn't that just the sweetest????

How are you? I lost track: have you finished your studies?

I have an assortment of saved outfits for this season, but so many of them are not opening. Is that the glitch people were mentioning?

Mine fully aware of you ladies praising well stocked families, and I myself enjoy the few times I spend with my siblings and their children. My old obsolete chassis can still function as "uncle" for some time longer.

Anyways, mine also can savor time spent with friends, and in some cases their children. I'm... appalled by one looking up to me... even calling me "father figure". I'm more a positive role model, just that.

Mine spending today with one, awaiting the arrival of his sister. To finish off the tequila spiked cactus fruit sorbet today.

I was the fourth in a family of 4, but years younger than my sibs. My parents were both the youngest in their respective families, so all my cousins were older too. In my past I hadfreally hoped to give my children something different. I moved to live near my closer in age sibling when I started having a family; I love a table full of lots of relatives. Sister and I have grown apart and sadly, my kids (all but one) don't interact with the cousins at all. But I guess having lots of siblings close in age is different than having them 7.5, 10 & 17.5 years older than oneself.

Hmm, I didn't realize this next chapter for my class would be this long. The shop manual is almost a hundred pages, which may take several sessions over an entire day to complete. It's familiar territory, servicing brake calipers and components.

I also saw that the online portion still doesn't reflect the transition. The syllabus notes the lessons until November. I'll take my time before this being mentioned during an upcoming lecture.

[Edit] During tonight's zoom meeting, an announcement was made. In January, a pilot program of a few select congregations will be allowed to return to their Kingdom Halls for physical attendance. This may mean that if a good result comes out, further reopenings could follow. I for one am glad to hear this, just a little longer and I can resume the previous outings that I'm used to.

It sure will be nice if/when we can get back to normal. I thought the vaccines would do that, but no.

Some others felt that way when they readmitted service. Though I haven't kept up if any had to withdraw or resume remote conducting.

It's not a false hope, but I saw that some were rushed to proceed. How long did normal life take to resume after the flu pandemic?

And unfortunately, some of them regretted it. :( I have no idea about the timeline with the flu.
