25th for me.

At least autumn is setting in, I won't have to stay shut in as much. My pile of firewood is needing a good dose of accommodation. My cacti also have plenty of fruit to eat or make into sorbet.

Though it's still several months away, mine 40th is leering at me like a vulture. I prefer to think I have few mistakes to regret.

There is a possibility, today I was called for an interview for a job. Nothing major really, just Dollar Tree. But if hired it can give me a better way to save for my studies. My best shot is to be reenrolled for spring.

I'm referring to yours, the background looks like a meteor hit. The bluejay looks like it's riding the shockwave... I'm my case, mentioning the 40th birthday I had made a special HA that I will use only once.

OH!!! I see! LOL Yeah, this is my first try at a scenic avatar. All the backdrops I want to use, can't have the human part excluded, so when this one came out, I tested it first, and was so happy it could be used like this! :D And you are right!! It does look like that! :O I never really thought about it, but sure do love this backdrop! So pretty!

Ahhhh......birthday HA! I love it! Makes me think of the flamingos on one of those Zoo shows on television.....all legs and running amok.....lol It was interesting to see how the caretakers carry them, when they are anesthetized. They are sooo big!

The black flamingo, gots to me mineself! I read on another thread that there really is a black flamingo somewhere.

As for the job, I'll ask for part time. That would allow me to accommodate my classes and other priorities.

I somehow forgot to mention that all but one of my Chihuahua puppies have been adopted. Two of them during this week, all by family members.

There one image of flamingos that is burned in my head, from Love in the Animal Kingdom on PBS. The final scene is of one stuck in drying mud, it's mate will not leave. They died together...

They do it better, and we're superior to them?

Touching story about the flamingos. I have seen two human couples do the same. Well, perhaps not exactly as the flamingos, but where both mates died together. One was a couple who had been married 73 years, and the wife had been in the hospital for a while. She had congestive heart failure, and her husband was there most hours of the day. One evening on rounds, they were found in her bed, and both had passed away. They were such a cute couple, and it was an honor knowing them, and their love.

Sad, but so sweet!

Mine efforts had their result, I'm awaiting a response to my petition for readmission. After which I'll either pay that same day or wait until any deadline is given.

Also, I've been instructed about application for a position where I'm interested in working. I will have to make some changes to accommodate employment.

For now my take are to conduct my online application and do my take home test for class this Saturday.
