Excellent! I just received a call from my college about my petition being approved. I have only to pay my dues today to finalize the process. I know I have some catching up to do this week.
I should also look into my application to the job I'm interested in. I think something is left undone.
yay the school is good news and a load off your mind i bet..now i hope there isn't TO much work to catch up on! The job is nice if it is one you would like to get. .These days it is RARE(here anyways)to find something you like..it is usually whatever is available.

I certainly need to see if I have a copy of the syllabus to find out.
And for a guy like me, living on a fixed income even a PT job with minimum wage... that's can be a lot. It's not that cleaning yards and manual labor don't excite me, but a more traditional job can provide stability in a relative sense.
Well i hope adding work to the mix in yor life isnt too much to juggle.

The position I'm applying for is basically being a robot. I've worked longer harder hours, this will be a walk in the park.
The classwork may require a longer time for catching up. My online profile doesn't yet reflect the actions taken. It turns out I didn't download a copy of the syllabus so I uninformed about the course's progress. I suppose by the next shop I can access the information.
Congrats on the tier upgrade! It's nice to see another enjoying battling! I began battling at the end of last year, and have been having so much fun! I could kick myself for waiting so long to begin! :O LOL
30th AWESOME news about your course! I was so hoping that they would approve - perhaps a bit selfish on my part too....I love hearing about your adventures in there!

Right on the nail about my puppies being little hellions. If they're not asleep or eating it's a whole lotta running and picking fights. And they're only two months old...
I really want to pick the remaining cactus fruit ASAP, some are already picked at by birds. I can still make a batch of sorbet before running out of ingredients.
sorbet from cactus>>how about tequila?? :):)

That would be an option, though I don't want to buy much more than a few ounces. Last I checked the good brands are only available in fifths. I could also try vodka.
i know nothing about the cactus or sorbet making!..how do you use the cactus?

I peel the fruit with hot water and ice water, then remove the seed material to set aside, from the seed material I make a simple "juice". I puree the fruit, adding apple juice, lemon juice, and agave nectar. Then I bring the mix to a boil and keep for ten minutes. The cooked mix is allowed to cool, then refrigerated for 2 - 4 hours. The mix is poured into the ice cream machine's canister, and an ice/rock salt layers are added to the full machine assembly. Churn for 30-45 minutes, and freeze.
I try not to over-freeze, because it'll just become a big chunk of ice, but that can be a basis to spike the sorbet. A good blender can make for an easy mixing. I usually serve it with vanilla ice cream, cherries and whipped cream.
The recipe I use is adapted from the instructions included with my machine.
yum..i would want it spiked :)

I happened upon a bottle of tequila in my pantry, with a couple ounces... I may not need much more than some ice to do this.
[Edit] Though I hadn't seen the time it can take to prepare the mix, I made some six hours later, and it seems I won't be able to make the sorbet today. It'll cool down and chill overnight to churn next morning, tequila chasing shortly after.
I completely forgot that I have a and more surprised about it's lack of a number to price. Several items from a pet treasure dumping yielded some good shop till amounts. Perhaps I would do well to attach a price to it.
Ooh, that new Pokemon game showed me something I caught interest in. Though I'm not much amused by this, a species I really like is present.
Apparently Stantler evolves here... But those underappreciated cuties... I may go for this adventure; if only to have the pair, male Stantler, and his evolved lady. Oh, that face!!!
It comes out in January, perhaps this could be a suitable reward if I pass the semester.
