Wait. I can submit a wig for 350 csc? You guys are making this way too easy. Do you WANT me to drawn you in girly items?!?
Good to know I've been wondering what the new prices could possibly be, but 350 to get a wig onsite sounds great to me! XD

I know you can’t give a time line but was just curious if we could at least know if the changes might be this year? A lot of people are prepping for lumi and trying to figure out if we should buy gifts during the black Friday sale, that we don’t even know is happening or not, or if we should wait till the price changes happen because your preview of price changes would indicate that waiting till the price changes to buy gifts would be better than buying at black Friday, but that is to say that it’s going to happen this year, if not black friday would be when to buy. I know a lot of people are afraid to do anything right now but with the holidays right around the corner we are kinda between a rock and a hard place. Any idea at all would be awesome. Thanks!!

yay for the hints on wig prices sobs 350 and half price for artist copy is AMAZING! I'm so stoked as I have a lot of recolors I'm sitting on.....just curious would say a body mod sweater (also in the 2.5k category) possibly be the same pricing? (please, please please?) XD
Also just curious if we say did the new wig pricing and paid 350 +175 for ourself/artist copy...and say we said 20 copies total would we be able to change the number in shop? Aka say I only want to sell 5 of the 20 copies in shop? Could we do that? Or would we have to do unlimited in order to control number? I understand not being able to adjust "higher" numbers if its a limited 20 but it would be great if we could adjust lower :D Hopefully that makes sense lol xD :) Thank you so much and I'm really excited for the updates and I am sincerely excited! Time to start saving some csc for new pricing changes :D

Because all items will be essentially DTS, they'll all be 'unlimited' and you'll control the number of copies you want out at any given time. So you can say you want to sell 20 copies total and put them out in groups of 5 no problem. However - if you sell more than 20 after saying otherwise, this is still considered scamming.
Sorry for the bother, but I had a thought! As far as you can reveal to us, will profits in shops still work the same way as before? (price at minimum, shop owner gets 100 csc like we currently do?, price higher and you get more?) Just trying to consider the best way to do things for the future! TY for your time!
Profits will be purely anything above the base price (since there is no longer a "fee" associated with direct to shop)
So for a wig, if you price it at 350 (base price), you don't get anything. If you price it at 400, you get 50 CSC, and so on and so forth. So using a similar markup most people follow now, we figure wigs will end up between 500-550 sale price, so 150-200 CSC profit. I hope that makes sense!

okay I can be patient! I guess I was just excited and I do love my body mod items lol :) and perfect, thank you for clarification on the DTS, that makes perfect sense now and I understand I think XD I'd pay say 525 for a wig for my copy, my artist copy and then that item would be in my shop and I'd have the choice of 20 copies or 10 or whatever I wanted at a time XD And of course on the slotting/batching/keeping the same amount if stated on boards <3 That will make things easier, especially if you give up your copy for your artist copy as then you won't ever miss your own release (Like I totally did somehow with my rebel unicorn mane lol) I normally get mine/artist always but I sold out before realizing I was missing my own copy lol
I'll just have to be careful DTS making sure if I send my artist copy first that I'm making sure I'm adding all the new items to my own WL so I can grab them later (robbing Peter to pay Paul?!) LOL XD aka getting them on site, using profits later to get my own copies :D
I hope the new system doesn't overwhelm you too much for approving LOL! cause I know how many recolors I'm sitting on...so I can only imagine how many more each CW releaser has waiting for you :o (Can I apologize in advance?) LOL XD
overall so far this all sounds fantastic...truly XD I'm really excited for this and really glad you guys are fine tuning it so it can be easier, more affordable, more awesome all around. Of course we all want it NOW lol but if waiting means better everything/feedback etc than I am totally down with waiting :) Hopefully its not next year haha but I'm happy with this. Special thanks to the CW council and Jessi and Bug for all the hardwork you guys are doing to make this amazing :)

Hello ! It's a Work Wednesday, and with the queue empty for now I thought I'd go through a few things!
• The CW Council has started testing some of our new things for the revamp! Things are coming along very nicely :)
• To sum up some of the questions I've answered:
- CWs will automatically be 'unlimited' since they are all essentially DTS. However, you will be able to still set the max amount you want out at a time and retire them once you've reached the total number of copies you've promised
- Pricing will work where your profit is anything above the base price. (so for a wig, anything above 350. For facial features, anything above 300. For a full background [which is the most expensive item we have now], anything above 400. Yes, these are actual prices!)
- There is no longer any sort of 'fee' associated with releasing items however! You don't pay an extra price for DTS. You just pay the base price to get it on site, and then sell it from there. Hooray!
• Categories have been EXTREMELY simplified. For example, makeup (without facial features) + tattoos are now in the same category. There is no longer simple jewelry and complex jewelry - just jewelry. There is no longer a category for shirts, another for jackets, and another for dresses - just 'tops'. This means some things have had even more of a price cut than others (OR, in the case of simple jewelry, actually remain the same price at 200 CSC because they are just combined in another category). There are visual guides so you don't have to guess if something you made is a small or large accessory - the pictures will walk you through it!
• That being said - we will be moving all old CWs to the new pricing system, and they may not match up with new items being submitted. We had to really play with where they would go based off their previous categories, but there will be a lot more details about this when the new system releases! I'm going to do my best to walk you all through it and make sure we have a pretty seamless transition :)
• Also thank you to those who have expressed worry about me for when the new system releases, haha! Don't worry, I'm mentally preparing myself for it :) Again, as we get closer, I'll of course have more information.

Thank you so much for the updated information! I'm really excited to hear how far along things are now and what some of the current plans are. I'm especially excited for this pricing information you've given, as that will make it so much easier to get stuff on-site. Also really excited to see the new simple submissions go live because it sounds like it's going to be much easier on us and you ❤️
I do have one question - will we be retaining the ability to lock items and send out invites for them? I ask because I've been holding some items since the initial announcement went out and I want to make sure the people slotted on that will be able to get their copies without any kind of stress.
