To add to 's post and go into a teensy bit more detail about some upcoming new things:

Warehousing This is the name for our new temporary retirement feature. When you temporarily retire an item, the information for price, number in stock (when not in warehouse), shop category, and locked status are not cleared, and in fact can still be edited from your Warehouse page! This should make it SUPER easy to manage temporary retirement schedules. You can "set it and forget it" for the price, category, etc and you can make sure the info is correct in your Warehouse before you move it back to your shop. And moving between shop and warehouse is just a single button click!

New Feature in CW Directory: CW Releaser Notes From the new CW Directory, you can now add short, public releaser notes to CWs you have released. These notes get displayed as part of the info for CWs in the new CW directory.

You can use these to say things like "birthday gift for friend", "temporarily retired until next morostide", and so on - anything you'd want the community to know about your item!

Manage Shop Items: Actually Has Filters Now You can now filter your shop items by item name, shop category, and view unpriced only. The page for managing your warehouse has the same filters.

Better Locking, Passwords, and Invites System We are updating the way locked items work to make it way easier. After this update, you can lock an item by simply checking a "locked" checkbox on the Manage Items page. That will cause the item to be locked immediately in your shop.

THEN, you can set a password, send out invites, or both! If you set a password, anyone with a password can purchase your item. (If an item is locked and you DON'T set a password, it will still show up as locked in your shop with a password prompt, it just won't let you buy it no matter what password you type.)

As for invites, the recipient of your invite can purchase the item (one copy per invite) as if it is unlocked. They do NOT need to type in any password; the system will simply check if they have an invite or not, so no password required!

These aren't even ALL the cool new features and quality-of-life improvements this update will bring you... and what's more, coding it on Subeta V2 is what enabled us to do all this and will enable us to add even more awesome features in the future.

By the way! There is also going to be an official "transition guide" that will go over everything that's different and everything new. This guide is meant for people who are already familiar with the current CW system, and just need to know what's different in the new system. We realized the sheer amount of changes could be overwhelming in itself, so hopefully the transition guide smooths that transition!!

I know you guys are all excited about the changes - I am too! But please, please, please refrain from submitting new types of items that will only be allowed after this goes live. I know it's hard to sit on these things, but right now it's just clogging up the queue and taking my time away from working on stuff since I have to deny them!
