Thank you for the update, we are all looking forward to it but please, take care of yourselves first! It's the holiday season and there's so much hustle and bustle both RL and with the site itself, we (or most of us, anyway!) understand that it's hard to make 100% exact promises. I appreciate the rough timeline, though! Definitely ramps up excitement!! Thank you for all the hard work (honestly, it hasn't been THAT long since you took over this project! I'm pretty impressed!)

Hello ! I know I said there wouldn't be many updates but I forgot I wanted to post this one! It's the list of how old categories will merge into new categories, which will also be a helpful chart for where items will go post-release.
When the update goes live, we'll have a stickied topic for about a month or so where you can ask for clarification on where an item goes. It will be monitored by myself, the CW mini mods ( and ), and members of the CW council to ensure we can get you quick answers!
Category Shifting
All base edits -> Unique Limbs (OR click the “repositions the limbs” box on what you are submitting)
Clothing that covers the majority of the base -> Full-Body Outfits (ballgowns, kimonos, costumes)
Companions -> Companions
Dresses -> Tops
Facial hair -> Facial hair
Full backgrounds and foregrounds that take up more than 50% of the HA -> Full Backgrounds and Foregrounds
Nail Polish -> Makeup, Scars, and Tattoos
Ornate or complicated jewelry -> Jewelry
Small accessories -> Small accessories
Small physical features -> Makeup, Scars, and Tattoos
Simple Jewelry -> Jewelry
Bottoms -> Bottoms
Hair Accessories -> Small Accessories
Hats -> Medium and Large Accessories
Held Props -> Held Props
Makeup -> Makeup, Scars, and Tattoos
Masks -> Medium and Large Accessories
Medium to large accessories -> Medium and large accessories

NOTE: The list above is for the main category they'll go into. You'll have to then pick the subcategory, but the submission wizard will walk you through that!

Yep! There is a note when you go to submit a mask however that says IT MUST LOOK LIKE A MASK. If it's a literal head replacement, it goes in unique limbs :)

"So say you want to submit a sweater that has the arms repositioned to hold a cup of coffee. Here's the order it will go in!
- You click the Tops (300CSC) category
- From there, it will say "What kind of top?" and you would pick "shirt, tanktop, sweater, or dress". This will put it in the Chest layer (as opposed to the overchest layer for jackets or vests)"
I know you touched on this a while back but I'm mostly just getting to go through pings properly and I have a question. I submitted all the & recolors in the overchest layer. Is this something I'll be able to have fixed via a ticket because items being in different categories drives me nuts since I have my owned list sorted by layer. x-x

at this time, no. Changing layers on accepted items is actually a huge pain in the butt. We're hoping to have an easier way to do it some day, but for now it'll just have to be a frustrating fact of life.
That's entirely fair. xD Can't say I blame y'all especially because of the extra work. Just wanted to ask. Thank you so much for clarifying and for all the work that you & everyone else are putting in. <3 CWs are such an amazing creative outlet for me so I'm grateful to have them. n_n

Hi there! I know I said there likely wouldn't be many updates, but I did want to stop in and let you know things are moving along - and also share a few images for you to get some previews of what things will look like!
** PLEASE NOTE -- All of these images are from our testing. They are not meant to be accurate, and a lot of the information on them will NOT accurately reflect actual CWs on the site. It will of course be accurate for release. **

Also -- did we mention the new site also has [link=https://i.imgur.com/ul2Qj0E.png]night mode?[/link] Well, it has night mode (which I personally love!!) (Warehoused means it is currently stored and not in the shop, but also not permanently sold out/retired)

You will be able to toggle between male and female base previews - and in fact, when you resubmit after a denial, a lot of this information will be put in for you! No more trying to remember item names or descriptions between submissions!
There is more to come - including after launch, as we have additional features that will be added over time in between other features of the overall site being completed :)
