How much personal suffering by some (fictional) person is a whole bunch of (fictional) persons' lives worth? Should mass-Subetan-murder that was done in cold blood be excused because the love story users say-so in their feels? My feels say that whatever suffering of the guilty due to their own actions is not the same as the purpose of institutional (fictional) justice. Jaxon is alive this gift because of our communal action and without our help he'd still be dead. His victims, they are still dead. If in Subeta it is that you say that TANJ, then maybe we should have Jaxon be a Battle Challenger where those who wish we can have our pets exact proper revenge and reparation. I would find that fun.

It could be that someone loves Gunter too, even though there's no lore there right now. Why is Gunter's suffering in the loss of family to a horrifying disease and the horrible things he was compelled to do in the heat of the moment somehow less-than?

To me those are fun things to think about. I have some feels for this (fictional) Gunter, and they're mine.

I don't think anyone would be annoyed if you'd just said you thought this would be a neat plot that you would have fun with and enjoy.

It's when you say that it "must be addressed" and start throwing out all the "shoulds" that people get cranky.

Some people are happy to accept karmic retribution in place of human justice, because in their minds, the reason we often need human justice is that karmic retribution doesn't happen very often.

Ultimately these are fictional characters so there are no 'shoulds' because you and I don't own them. I think Alex Hirsch screwed over Ford Pines because he doesn't like him, but the only thing I can do about it is write my own stories. I recommend this solution to you if it really bothers you that much.

Otherwise, I'm coming at it from the position that a website into which I have put a truly stupid amount of money (which is solely my own fault and nobody else's) isn't doing so great and doesn't need to piss off the majority of the userbase any more than it already has.

A lot of people just want vicarious happiness out of the JaxIan ship because a lot of our lives really suck right now. I think that's okay.

PS: FWIW you're also talking to someone who, having read their truly tragic and horrific backstories, would like to see maybe 75% of the Decepticon leadership get out of the war and go live on a beach somewhere where they can make out, have energon smoothies and make sparklings. So there's that. It's not that I think what they did was okay, it's that I think there's nothing that can be done for it now and everyone involved in all sides of this mess was getting plowed by the universe. Which is kinda how I think about Jaxon as well.

(I don't think people should get away with shit IRL, but in our fantasy lives I think a lot of us enjoy seeing the irredeemable ones who've had terrible choices get away with shit, because we all feel irredeemable ourselves sometimes.)

Many other users are super hard on the NPC Gunther, much harsher than anything i have said about NPC Jaxon. Many other users who object what I write about NPC Jaxon won't object to what they write about NPC Gunther. I find this very sad.

I think we need a scarecrow zapper skin, a creepy horse head skin (a-la Bojack Horseman), and perhaps a green-man/woman one.

Just popping in to say we need some sort of play on a baby yoda ragdoll. As close as we can get without offending Disney!

Yes, characters have done problematic things, but like I said before, it depends if the staff want to follow up on it or not, and that might not happen for years anyway despite the fact that I feel like they can just answer all our questions in item descriptions or news posts rather than go through the effort of making a whole plot for it).

Which reminds me, some of the Pumpkin Patch foreground items from last year don't work well with a lot of backgrounds at the moment, so maybe there could be some backgrounds (or even just ground items) that would work with them? Although I feel like now it's quite late for new ideas.

I want a rag doll from the Inuyasha series new or old not picky, I would also like one from Fruits Basket a rag doll, character chosen does not matter to me. As we have two rag dolls from the HP fandom and a lot from Marvel and DC universes.

I would really like more spider lily items. There's only two items on the entire site related to them. They don't need to be incorporated with skulls. They're also known as the flower of hell, so I really hope the artists could pull some spooky yet beautiful inspiration from that.

• Since trick or treating IRL will likely be put on hold due to the virus, I think it would be funny/useful to incorporate some more facemasks in the rotation for ToT prizes. They don't have to be Moro-themed - in fact, plain colors like the series would be so nice, since people have been asking for more colors/styles and it can be hard to incorporate the patterned masks into HAs.

• FG overlays like only with spooky item cutouts (ghosts, bats, drippy handprints, etc) would be cool. Maybe less of an overall pattern like the example I gave, and just a few artfully arranged cutouts would be nice.

idk if it has been said yet but I would like to see the series in actual fantasy colors to match the fantasy bases we have (like blue, green etc.) These sets only include the natural skin tones and 2 fantasies (stark white and charcoal black). It would make more sense to me to allow these fantasy ears in actual fantasy colors too??

Yes, I've been making a HA that is supposed to be a photo with stickers or digital pictures added to it, but those items just don't work because they were made back when they made items that had the HA gap. If they were revamped, or if we had newer versions of those kind of items (and for other events too), that would be great.
