I'd like to know this too. I have way to many CWs and other items to go through and check.
Other than that, is there any hope at all that I wont have to look and things will just be returned? I get that the staff must feel bad. People spend real money here. That probably helps pays bills and losing customers is never good. Plus most people don't purposely upset others.
Am I pissed? Yep.
Really all I want to know is what can be done or will be done.
I don't want to have to do any work to get my items that have gone missing back. Not my job.
I adore this, thank you!

I actually cleaned out my wardrobe a couple of weeks ago. I spent so much time and ended up purging around 2k items. It was a massive relief, but I just checked this page because I did count two missing sP items that I was looking forward to having restored after the glitch, and y'all have given me back a bunch of things that I had recently gotten rid of and do not want.
I'm grateful for all the effort, of course, but it looks like I've got another big purge in the near future?
: Huh. It seems like a lot of these could be custom wearables. I haven't looked at the item info, bu I recognize the way they are named. Think that might be signifigant?
First, thank you for restoring my missing CW. However, I have a question. I'm in the same situation as .
I noticed that items I did not report missing have been returned to my account. I do have a huge wardrobe, so I'm not sure what is missing from the non-CW portion of my wardrobe. I appreciate that you're using information from old backups and restoring everything. I'm sure there are missing items that I didn't request and I will be glad to get them back (or rather, to have never noticed they were missing).
However, there were items that I owned 4 months ago that I no longer own. Earlier this year, after Lumi, I realised that I'd rather have a manageable wardrobe than the 12000K item achievement and did a huge purge. I sold, fragged and donated hundreds of items that I do not use. (Their fate depended on their value, obviously.)
Currently, the most expensive purged item that has been "restored" to my account is valued at ~70000 sp.
But I purged around 10-15 CWs and at least 20 Delish items. What should I do if these items reappear after being restored from an old backup? Will I be penalised if I redistribute them?

- I am aware of that. I even mentioned it in my previous post. " Or I have to regularly use Subetalodge's mass add feature and enter source code and stuff, which is very time consuming." Yes, using the source code is faster than adding items one by one. But when you have upward of 30 pages worth of chest items in your wardrobe alone, it is still VERY time consuming to copy and paste the source code for every page in your wardrobe, books your pet has read, food your pet has eaten, in your minion zoo, of your plushie and beanbag and all other collections. When I started my Subetalodge account last week, it took me a day and a half to copy and paste everything into it using the source code. For me, it simply isn't feasible to do that on a regular basis once work resumes. So the only options are to do the items one by one as I acquire them. Which is still tedious and slows down collecting plushies, reading to pet, feeding pet, etc. Or to, maybe once a year, take a day to copy and paste the source code from a couple hundred different pages--which means as a back-up, Subetalodge wouldn't be that reliable for me.
Which is why I posted about being allowed to download our accounts again. I agree with Bug about responsibility. But for peace of mind, it would be a great feature to have back.
So yes, I am aware of the Mass Add By Source Code, which I even said in my prior post. Thank you for reading it. And if you notice, I do request not to be pinged in my signature. Please respect that. And maybe work on your reading comprehension. I'm sure you had good intentions, but when you don't read what's actually written, it just frustrates the person you think you're helping.
Clearly I did read your post, and the limited interpretation of what was given gave off an impression that you didn't realize that these areas of the site could be utilized. So as far as that portion of what was comprehended, as you stated you couldn't keep track of the vault and other areas.
That gave off a sense that you didn't realize that these areas could be utilized in the same fashion as the system doesn't feature these areas significantly on SubetaLodge. Now with that being said, since with the covert passive aggression seething within your newest post. With that being said, I know I was the one who brought back the idea of having the ability to bring back the notion of backing up user data but since bug stated that probably wouldn't work out again and from seeing your post. I thought I would let you know that particular area of the site and its feature to utilize those portions of Subeta via Subetalodge as I comprehended as much as I could from the limited information provides. I'm not a mind reader and can't fathom the multiple issues/lack of knowledge of functions and a myriads of other factors.
Now that your response has stated with more clarity and explication, I clearly understand what your issued is and have fully comprehended it. I will say this, you shouldn't always expect a person to pay particular attention to a forum signature when generally, those areas a good chunk of the time never really contain relative substantial value or bring anything to the table. When it comes to a forum topic. Sorry, for neglecting to look at an area which usually contains some cutesy image/some random website to an off-site wanting to sell knick-knacks.
I come to forums topics to read, forums posts and responded in kind to those. If you honestly feel like pining is a grievous issue, try making a suggestion on disabling being pinged in future posts. I am sure there are countless others out there that would consider such a feature useful and would save you from being pinged and the pingee from the passive-aggressive nature of a response to that person, who unfortunately pings you in the future.

:
It is actually not your place to apologise on behalf of other people. Your feelings are your own and you have the right to express them, but you cross the line when you try to erase other people's words and feelings with your "apologies" on their behalf.
You don't speak for the many people who reported new wardrobe glitches in the Gold Account forum only to have the new wardrobe pushed on everyone before these were resolved.
You don't speak for the many people who got ticket responses that upset them a lot. I understand these were written by stressed people, and that they were not intended the way they were taken, but the "assumptions" did not come out of thin air. The ticket responses were written in English, not Vulcan, and English is a language where unpleasant information is often conveyed through implication.
If you want to shame people for being justifiably pissed off, that's your opinion and you have the right to express it, but so do the people you're shaming.
You don't have the right to speak on behalf of the people you're shaming, and the inference that you are unaware of the past history behind the anger is a charitable one.
Consider this: assuming that:
you actually do know how ill-advised it is to run a major upgrade without being sure the backups are actually present; and
you actually do know what CW releasers have been going through with unwritten rules and effed-up, inconsistent denials; and
you actually do know how many new wardrobe glitches were reported and still not fixed before the new wardrobe was prematurely taken out of beta:
would basically lead to the conclusion that you're one of those people who thinks niceness is more important than fairness.

Ugh I have no idea if I've lost anything

They are replacing lost items whether or not you have personally reported them. A lot of people are in the same boat so they are trying to be as fair as possible.

Thanks for the link to show what was restored so far. I was missing a couple of things, but there was no way for me to remember that.

Sorry to pester since I'm sure you're swamped, but could you include a link to the page listing restored items in the first post here, or somewhere else accessible? It would be useful to have that right off the bat for anyone just seeing this thread.
I went ahead and added the link to the OP :)
