Maybe to help I am missing maybe 100-200 items if not more but, I see that some items that I added around a month ago disappeared like: All the lightsabers 3 of them I brought another one now to check and it did add it to wardrobe so it 100% disappeared from my wardrobe.
I’ll update with more, as I remember, I know a month ago I was trying to get some achievements so I brought things from there, that would help too btw if you can look in past achievements means that ppl had those items.
Trying to find ideas, maybe it can be an inspiration for resolving this, or at least get it closer to 70-90% to what was.
u look at all the animal hair embedded into my clothes/furniture and tell me who the real victim is here ok
destroy all butts 2020
Urrrrrrgh.
I'm pretty fastidious about keeping my Subetalodge check lists up to date, and from the numbers it appears that I'm missing about 40 items give or take, which given the size of my wardrobe, isn't terrible. I really hope there's a way to find out what was missing because I'm not about to trawl through nearly 24000 items to find the 40 I'm supposed to have.
Also, here's a thing. I'd already noticed I didn't have the acorn in my wardrobe. I thought I must have accidentally removed it from my wardrobe and didn't think much of it at the time. That was a couple of days ago. When did this actually happen? Why did it take at least two days to find and announce this?
This is...super frustrating. I understand there were several things that played into this, but some of the things lost are irreplaceable unless staff figures out how to un-delete them. It's literally taken me hours to go through my owned cws and check for missing items and there's under 3500 of them. I've been able to cross-check with the lists others have posted for the missing non-cw items, but my wardrobe has something in the neighborhood of 20k items (not including the cws). It's not even really realistic for me to sit here and check every single item, even with the tips from others on checking just at the 60/120/etc mark.
I appreciate that Bug has come and said that the problem is fixed now and that there is work being done on how to recover the items, but this is precisely why you have backups, and it's really irresponsible not to check them at least once a week to make sure they're running correctly, let alone to have it go unnoticed for months.
Not pinging the site as a whole or making a news post as soon as the issue was discovered and fixed is also a huge problem. Transparency is always a big complaint around here and it's frustrating to see y'all say you'll be more transparent and then just...go back on it time after time. A lot of us are facing all sorts of other stress and hardships and have /still/ been supporting the site with our subscriptions and CSC purchases and having something like this happen and not even being told about it by staff just...makes me want to invest my time and money elsewhere. There's only so many times someone can say "we made a mistake" about something and then continue the behavior before people realize it's all just lipservice =/
ANYHOW, here's my missing items so far:
Missing Items Wishlist List because it's easier and won't additionally stretch the page.
According to the organize items page, I have 23,582 items in my wardrobe. According to my pretty well-maintained lists on SL (Wardrobe + CWs), I should have 23,665. It's a difference of 83 items (forgot to count the cws I'd moved to a separate WL). I've found 40 so far but like...it's literally been 3 hours since I started checking and it's almost 3am now. Everything in my drawers is now checked out but the unsorted category is a lot to go through. ((Updating the count on what I've found to be missing as well as total item counts if I add things to my wardrobe so that it remains accurate))
I am going to post my missing CWs though since this is a real money situation:
- y'all might want to check your wardrobes :( - so you can find this post to update your counts
I'm really proud of Bug for keeping us updated but it shouldn't be falling on their shoulders. Right now it looks like Bug is the only one who gives a damn - and I love you, Bug, I really do! But I also have to wonder if you had access to checking the back-ups as well as Keith (and whoever else)?
This could have been avoided. Whether it be the line of code that broke everything, pushing back the release of the wardrobr until it was stable, making sure the site was backing up, whatever. There were multiple opportunities to prevent what is now the virtual equivalent of mass hysteria regarding pixelated clothes - many of which people have poured TONS of cash into.
What do we donate for? I am asking this seriously. Where does all that cash go? Why can't you guys be more open and attentive to the people throwing real life money your way for a chance to either submit their digital drawings or to buy the usage of someone else's submission? It does not take someone in the CW communities to see how utterly screwed up this entire situation is.
Think about this, really? People dropping good money to submit art that they either drew or commissioned from another user, to put on a premade site provided base, with lots of silly limitations - not to mention the arbitrary/flimsy accept and reject guidelines that have been an issue - and these people put all their trust in you with this and still pay despite the absurd details.
And then it's just "oops we didn't check that we had back-ups"?
I'm honestly livid with this whole situation. Bug is at least trying and like I said, it seems they're having to carry the burden while every other staff member relevant to this fiasco stays silent.
As a whole, Subeta needs to step up. The users are basically writing out the entire grocery list of issues and potential solutions right on the window glass with a permanent marker, yet it's like the people who could turn this place around are just casually looking out the window like it's your average cloudy day and then mutter to themselves about needing to bring in the trash can from the street.
This is what is killing Subeta. Why bother with coding an entirely new site when the future looks this damn bleak?
I never kept an owned list, so there is no way for me to remember ALL of my wearable items, both custom and regular.
I know this doesn't help anyone but I agree this should have been a news post immediately! The way this has been handled is pretty poor. I have thousands of items in my wardrobe and a few CWs and Cash Shop stuff and there is no way I will be able to remember all the items that should be in my wardrobe...
Ha! Thanks to other users' observation (how do you manage to find these among your thousands of items? I'm in awe!) I detected one item I lost
Acorn
Should we replace the lost items or not? How do you want us to proceed?
Wardrobe is still not loading.
I have no clue what I'm missing.
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.
Ocean Conservation Namibia on YouTube... they do good work! https://www.ocnamibia.org
You all are going to want to read this if you haven't already. Lots of missing items! Check the first post for more info.
I am pretty inline with 's post.
As a user who's slowly become less and less active, I don't think I want to deal with this...situation. I have some things recorded for cws but that list isn't 100% and with the constant site lag, it would take me hours that I do not have going through it. It could be months before I may come across something I may have been missing. How the heck are people going to remember everything they bought and paid real money for like cws? Half the time I can forget if I sold something if it was long enough ago and I change my HA maybe once every week to few weeks.
I honestly cannot understand how something like this was allowed to happen and not just that, but there was no precaution in place considering it is something new. I really feel bad for the people with more things than I do. No honor system is going to help this not to mention how long it will take the poor staff to work through each one of us to restore everything. Then the wardrobe was clearly causing issues from the beginning, it should have been taken down
I can't even with this idk.
I literally don't have the mental capacity for this RN lmao.
I think staff should be responsible for creating a list of the items that went missing. I like many others on this site, did not realize that it was my responsibility to keep a record of over 20k wearables because I was under the impression that staff was keeping their records.
I really don't appreciate the "Ooopie" attitude of the first post, AND having to be directed here by ping groups and not staff. I'd appreciate a news post, and an action plan going forward of what will prevent this in the future. =/
Since there hasn't been a news post for some wild reason, please check the first post. =/
I second what you said.
I have been on here for over a decade. I spend enough on here a month to feed a person.
I have been very patient with SO many lag issues and moving from one website to another etc etc. I have always been understanding. Even defending the staff. Working with so many moving parts on a site must be a task.
I also have a real life outside of this site. I also help pay the people who work here. I would think keeping track of purchases would be basic. This isn't an "Oops" This is BS.
Site created items, sure whatever I can deal with, but does anyone have any idea how we are supposed to check/know what CWs that got deleted? I have had several that was given to me or that I bought, placed in my wardrobe and forgot the names too. Anyone got a post that has all lost CW items listed so I can somehow check and see if I recall buying them?
Honestly, this is a bit ridiculous. Supporters of this site, such as myself, have been putting money into this site to help prevent stuff like that. Who knows if people lost completely irreplaceable CWs cuz not only was they limited from the CW maker, but that CW maker may not even be around and those copies are extremely limited or already gone. I've had friends give me items as well. :/
Anyway to check user purchase history, gifted history, or sent item history to find any of this stuff?
Edit: and another place: Luminaire Trees. I have gotten some through there as well.
Please read the posts about missing items, count your CWs and CS items especially. Hope you all are safe and not affected very much with this glitch. ^-^ Sending positive vibes to all of you.

gotta say, when i thought i wanted to clear out my wardrobe this wasn't really what i had in mind lmao
but okay jokes aside there isn't really anything i can add that hasn't been said already i wish a news post was made about this because i learned about the situation thru discord and like...... some people aren't in servers/forum groups and this is a pretty big deal™ and shouldn't be hidden like this ;;
You guys need to see this.

I'm on mobile and I can't even get this brand new wardrobe to load anything no matter what i try.
So basically the biggest incentive for me staying here is done with until all bugs are fixed which could take awhile, and on top of that I may have items missing but I won't be able to tell because I can't get into my wardrobe?
I understand that staff does a lot to keep up with the site but tbh this shouldn't have happened to begin with. There is always 1 thing or another going wrong and it's getting ridiculous. Considering how HUGE the wardrobe function is in playing a part in the site getting money to run, failure to notice your back ups haven't been working for awhile doesn't instill any kind of confidence that y'all are taking Subeta or its user base seriously.

Feel like you summarized how I'm feeling at the moment about this covid-wardrobe situation. I am genuinely gutted for everyone. Some people won't be keeping records and some CWs are genuinely priceless/sentimental. It makes it difficult as players pour real money into this. Most of us come here to destress.
I hope there is some algorithm you can find to pull what data you have together and create a missing list.
Sending love out to everyone.
