I thought it would have started today by now...I'm excited to see the new strains! Hopefully later on tonight or tomorrow it will start.

I guess it won't be starting today, otherwise there would be new items appearing by now. I really hope it starts tomorrow so I can go out on Monday without having to worry about missing the beginning of it (Though if the worst happens, I guess I could just start with an older virus like I did last year).

I sort of want the staff to confirm that no, it won't start today, so I don't have to stay up too late.

Or maybe they're going to start it at midnight like they did with Masquerade last year? I doubt it though.

I recall staff saying before that they don't like to start any events past a certain time of day... I can't remember the exact time, but it's definitely passed by now, so I think it's safe to say it won't be starting tonight, which means everyone should be clear to get some rest and check in again in the morning. :) Monday seems kind of likely to me at this point, but it's hard to say for sure!

Either way, I am suuuuper excited~ Survival is definitely one of my favorite Subeta Holidays!

I don't think events have ever started this late... At least not that I've been aware of... pretty sure the latest I've seen was 9:00pm Subeta time.

I keep refreshing the Item Directory to spot new items. I look forward to new strains, getting old strains, and all the new items. I love it all!

I'm a bit worried this year's Survival might start late because of the site functionality issues lately. They have to make sure the new servers hold up and everything before they can start one of these site-wide events, so I wouldn't be surprised if it started as late as next saturday/sunday.

I'm sure they would tell us if Survival had a significant delay, like they did with Fireside last year.

It wouldn't surprise me if they ended up starting it at the last possible moment, which would be Monday because of it being a leap year. I just hope that if they do, it won't be until after 8PM in my time zone, which would be 3PM Subeta time. But if I do miss the start, I guess I could start with a vial since they're less stages, so I can still get about 4 skins this year.

True, but that was a HUGE delay, plus it caused some overlap with the start of Luminaire. If they just decide to start the Masquarade a bit later than usual, that should be no problem, since it doesn't start a set day like Luminaire.

I do wonder if they are taking the leap year into account though. Like, if Survival takes two weeks, who cares whether it ends on March the 2nd or the 3rd? I'll still keep an eye on any new items being added to the Item Directory though xD I like starting with an old strain, that way I know exactly what I'll get in the end xD Once I've had that, I get at one of the new ones, followed by one of the vial strains and then one last regular strain, which finishes some time after survival has ended. That way I get the max amount of strains I can get in a year =) Plus you can still enjoy the excitement of every new stage of the new strains like everyone else by simply being in the forums ^^

I'm actually more worried about Masquerade starting (and therefore ending) later than usual because I might be going away in early April and I don't know if I'll have internet access, so I hope it doesn't go too far into April so I don't miss too much of the end, especially if there's a plot this year (I doubt it because of all the errors and stuff, but still). Even if I did have internet access, if there is a plot I might have to skip some steps that can't be done on mobile. Maybe I'm just worrying too much, but I just want to be prepared as much as I can.

Yeah, I think staff has other things on their minds than a new plot xD Maybe something like the "choose your own adventure" thing they did for te anniversary last year? I assume those are a lot less time consuming to make than a whole plot. Plus they can be fun too =)

I'd like to see more of those choose your own adventure games, they were fun and made you feel involved without taking too much effort besides writing and links to the different outcomes and stuff. It also gives the artists less to do, and encourages you to use your imagination more. The 2018 plot had one but I didn't get to see all the outcomes because I managed to finish it on my first attempt and other people hadn't recorded all of it, but it seemed interesting to read some of the outcomes I didn't get to see.

I just hope they fixed the snowball/kissl glitch that happened the last 2 years. precious virus progression time was lost because of those!
