Will the items put into the vault retain their price tag?

Now that the Legacy Shops are no longer how many items are shops / galleries allowed to hold now and how many shops are users allowed. In 2016 we were told that we might be able to add more to our shops or possibly have more shops. Any decision on that yet?

Thanks so much for this! I haven't moved anything out of my legacy gallery shop, because of how long it would take. My regular shop didn't have anything in it, or any profits left, so that's an easy delete there.

When you introduced the new shops and turned the old ones to legacies, I knew it was a matter of time before the old ones would dissapear totally. So I emptied the old shop first. Then... the gallery on wich I was working on that achievement of how many items you had in the shop. I wasn't able to get all the tiers but for one who was going easy on that, I am not dissapointed with the result. I emtied my entire wardrobe in there, managed to get one more tier before it got retired. After that, throughout the years, I emptied the gallery, little by little. I believe I had finished it last year around this time.

But it's great of you to give everybody a heads up.

Okay. I started the process a bit ago (more than 30 minutes but less than an hour, I think. lol) So now it seems it's all transferred. I made a Legacy Shop Items category in my vault and it now has 147 :O pages in it. lmao And it looks like my old Legacy shop is gone but I never got an alert saying it was finished. Am I REALLY done now? Just want to be sure before I close tabs (the migrate tab as well as my vault). ;-)

And thanks SO much for this! I've been trying for MONTHS to not only access that crazy old shop but move bunches of stuff out whenever I could access it so this seems to have made it pretty painless though I do still need to sift through it all for fragging, and putting in my pet treasures, etc. But I think this will be easier overall. xx :)

I'm glad this is being done, thank you. I didn't even really realize the legacy shops were still around in terms of items could be stored in them. When the new shop system was introduced I recreated my shops and transferred everything over from the old ones right then, at least I think I did. I used the transfer tool in case anything was left over, and I'm glad the legacy shops will be deleted and I won't have what looks like doubles of the same shop anymore.

The frustration to a great deal stems from the fact, that I keep finding the same item in 2 or more of my new anyway too tiny shops, even though I have been trying to prevent that from day one. Secondly, that, even though the new shops are so tiny, from beginning on they have been waaayyy slower than the old multithousand item ones, when their reason for being created was to have super fast new coding. Which shouldn't have been a surprise with only a minute percentage of items in them. Still they never worked as expected - much less today, when they still throw application errors every other turn in edit mode!

Oh dear, yeah. It is a known issue that the pagination stopped working one day. We apologize for that inconvenience.

This is an example of the old code crumbling more and more over time, and it's part of why we are pushing to finally retire it D: We have not updated that page in ages, but as the rest of the world moves on and the rest of our code becomes more modern, this older code just... breaks in unexpected ways, even though no one touched it. And it's always very difficult and time-consuming to fix.

I know this may not help much, but I'd like to reassure you that your item data will stay safe even if something unexpected goes wrong with the transfer. There are multiple checkpoints in the code to make sure that item data is deleted ONLY IF the transfer was successful. In an unlikely worst case scenario that the transfer isn't able to finish successfully, it's still impossible for it to delete any item data that shouldn't be deleted.

I too have this same issue and it makes me nervous that all the items I have in my legacy shop won't be transferred over. My legacy shop is only showing one page of items all starting with the letter P. Yet when I search for say items with the name Blue in it, they will all show up. Same with other colors, or stickers, plushies etc. So if I'm understanding correctly, even though only one page of items are showing, using the Legacy Shops: Move Items to Vault will actually move everything over, including the items I can't see??

Okay thank you! I actually transferred a small amount (177) into my Extra Event items shop and it said that Your items have been moved successfully. I thought there were more Red pirate ship plushies than what is showing but I might have read that incorrectly at some point. Really appreciate all your work and effort around the site. :)

I am one of those who are nervous that not everything will transfer, especially since we haven't been able to access/see what is in them for several months now. Would it be possible to get a count of the total number of items in the legacy shop before transferring them?
