I feel like someone should make a thread in the feedback forum about the pirate incident. I was thinking of making a thread in the suggestions forum about events having an FAQ every year that would tell us if certain things would be happening this year or not, so then we don't have to worry about annoying the staff with those questions. I think our complaining about them not telling us is even more annoying anyway.

The main thing that scares me about skipping some years is that some of us won't be able to afford waiting until the next year, anything could happen, people could even die before they get another chance. Sorry, I'm just getting stressed over the possibilities again.

Thanks! I would definitely work on your intel, it's holding you back. It may even be worth using any tomes you have saved up to boost your intel.

- I have been thinking seriously about that. I also have boosters from years of Shinwas Quest. So far, Tos is a totally manual build (no EXP, no boosters - unless I used one or two waaayyy back before I knew anything about battling) and no autotraining. But it may be time to start changing that. Of course, then I'll also have to figure out how to acquire scrolls to go with the new AP. :-) I've been thinking about doing that too.

AP is a very valuable asset I would not underestimate :P Books can only get you so far, and I would definitely consider boosting your intel as much as you feel comfortable with, either through tomes or anything else.

Nightlady is coming up next month so it will be a perfect time to get some Shrieks! Other scrolls will come as you beat more opponents. But you can never go wrong investing in Cobalt Eternals and Fatal Fires.

With the achievements having just been introduced last year, it is kind of lame that a lot of people will have to wait until next year to complete any of the ones they missed.

People die all of the time though, it's just a part of life. When I eventually die, missing out on Subeta challengers will be the least of my concerns :P At the end of the day, they're just something to pass the time.

- yes, I learned that from this thread when I first started battling regularly. My lower level pets were boosted to 30 AP very early on to use the scrolls I had at the time. And Scutely has no AP because I wanted to try playing Mystic Spindles for a while first before reading books.

Yes, I have been really lucky and have a Shriek I earned two years ago and another from last year and I hope to get one or two more this year. And I should be getting close to earning a Psycho Smasher too. I do have one Cobalt Eternal, one Fatal Fire and one Perilous Whirlpool as well.

Aside from books and stat boosters - do you know if Loyalty Tomes boost INT along with the other stats? I've saved all of min so far.

I'm just worrying too much again. I know if I was dying I would try to make the most of what I did have, no one will ever get to do everything.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, of the suggested scrolls/constants, all I've got is the Trident. I think I could squeeze out a couple of wins if I borrowed 2-3 GotF and maybe bought the Triple Threat; not sure about 5, though. Time to burn through that EXP backlog...?

[edit] Whoa, , just saw you mentioned getting five wins on Daemon. Was this with the same pet? I hadn't been planning on trying but maybe I should.

- yes Tos is my main battle pet and she got the five wins against Daemon (although I believe a couple of those wins I used a [item-Negating Pylonic] at the end). Also wins 4 and 5 needed with the Trident. (I think I was using before that.

My baby is growing up!

Well, Tos has managed to get 3 wins against Lady of the Waters, but now she is more or less continuously healing back to full health. I don't seem to be able to make any headway at all. Since scrolls are disabled, it can't be Tos' low AP that is keeping her from getting further. Once again looking for any help and/or suggestions on what to try next.

Tier 10s can get to 10 on Cozcoatl. My next smallest pet is Tier 4 so can't tell you about below that. Tier 10s can also get a few wins on Daemon. My Tier 11s were as small as I went on Lady of the Waters.
