:o Ooo, congrats Jovi! Also, teach me your waysssss oh great battle warrior -bows down- I rarely get past level 20 with my tier 10. It's totally not him, it's me, lmao - because I don't have a lot of weapons or scrolls, etc. - nor do I know how to battle properly, lmfao. xD

❤ I think I got to about 27 with him naturally, but I did get a few opponents he needed help on (Crawbeast, Malerias Familiar), so I used my larger pet for those. But Unstable Snow Fairy is easily the weakest level 30 challenger so he was able to break through!

In my opinion, if you have sp and want to get more wins with your pet, the best stat to invest in is intelligence because you can use a lot of really over powered scrolls to give yourself an extra edge. For example, Plakat currently has a scroll set with a multi use % healing scroll (basically, Aftershocks, but I use Ocean Currents) and 6 Gift of the Forj scrolls. Each Gift of the Forj heals for 1500 HP once per battle, which means I can basically revive myself 6 times (8 if I use my Phoenix Quill and Reviver of the Lion) It's an expensive set to make but because I have several other battle pets, I earned the scrolls to use on my babies.

But honestly if this is your first pet, getting to 20 is still awesome! I would recommend dumping exp into HP to make your pet bulkier and your healers work harder. It's way cheaper to keep doing BQs and chugging away at earning exp than to dump a few hundred mil into scrolls that probably only nerds like me care about haha

Can I ask what your current weapon/scroll set is?

What's the best set for Mama Forj? And what tier do pets usually need to be to beat her? I can't remember what I used with my main pet and I would love to pick up a second scroll. Wait, is it 5th win loot or an achievement prize? This is the problem with going through phases of inactivity, I never remember the details of things when I need to.

Yeah, sometimes I get lucky with Cursed Effigy past 20, but Surge and Saggi and usually The Gatekeeper beat me dowwwwwn.

Weapons-wise his default set is:

Scrolls-wise, I usually just have Aftershocks, Fatal Fire x2, Cobalt Eternal x2 attached, though I did just nab a Shriek of Despair today. He's got 72 AP to play with at the moment. I do BQ when I remember, lol, and yep - HP is where I'm currently dumping the exp.

Should be 5th win loot! I think you need at least t11 for her! I would bring a Trident + Unstable Sample Syringe + Ocean Currents Although the torch we just got from Daemon from this event might worth as a USS replacement!

She only takes damage from water icons, and you need to deal a lot, which is why I picked those weapons. I would also bring BoNA crystals cos shes a filthy thief.

I would recommend picking up a if you have the funds! It would help you beat Surge at the least, I believe. I would replace the Knocker with the eyeball. If you have Surge unlocked/you are trying to fight him right now in BQs, I wouldnt mind lending you my copy so you can give it a try before you pay for it.

Otherwise, your set is pretty standard (can I assume youve set it up so you freeze/bomb/blast on the first few turns using the autoselect feature?) and I think will bring you pretty far! You just need to add to your attacker collection whenever you have sp. Prodigys Eyeball is a good pick up now, if you're willing to spend money on weapons then I would start looking at the MC options as well.

Subeta battling is weird in that you can kind of either 1. over power everything with pure stats or 2. beat things at smaller stats if youre willing to buy weapons that specialize in a specific challenger. You can of course do both, but theres diminishing returns on a lot of weapons as it might not be worth 300-750mil for a weapon just to beat a BQ opponent a few months earlier than you could if you just kept training. You know what I mean?

Yeah, I have the funds, lol. I'm just such a stingy person... Hahaha. We shall see how the eyeball fares...

I'm not actually sure what you mean about the autoselect feature though? o_o I know I can auto have my default weapon-sets and scroll-sets for when I click start battle, but is there something else... And lol, yeah. I do indeed know what you mean. That's been my struggles - figuring out which ones are actually worth buying when.

Ohhhh on the "Choose Weapons" page, theres a option for "Preselection Settings" You can click to turn it on! Once you do that, the "Make Turn" button will automatically use the first 2 weapons/scroll in your set - most battlers will therefore put bomb/freeze in the first two slots and then two blasters in the 3rd and 4th slot, and then their constant weapons after that (and any pinch healers after that)

It makes BQs loaaads faster!

Ahah I totally get the stinginess! Theres definitely diminishing returns with a lot of this kind of thing, and in the end battling doesnt really earn you sp back. Its just a fun thing for me though, so I enjoy spending all my sp on it XD

Thanks for the info! I think my T11 is still too much of a wee babby to take her on, but at least I have a strategy for a few thousand stats down the road.

I just beat Mama Forj with a T11 pet using a Prodigy Staff, Unstable Sample Syringe (both with 3 water EOR crystals) and Ocean Currents Scroll. With the crystals and scroll they produce between 80-90 icons of water each turn. It makes for shorter battles. I think I used the same set to get 50 wins on her with Mind Eraser.

Ugh. I was using a tome on Galaxielle when I got a gateway error. Tried refreshing a couple of times and when Subeta was back for me I got a note that I didn't have the item. Checked and her stats didn't change, I just lost the tome.

I've made a ticket, but still...

So it seems no pirates this year after all. Would have been nice if we were told sooner, but I'm not nearly as bothered as the more serious battlers who will be more salty about it, I'm sure. The main thing that bothers me is just not being told, I like to be warned about changes to routines, but that's just me being too used to things being a certain way and expecting it to always be like that.
