That is fair enough. :) I always liked to be on/in the water tho. :D

-nods- i love making multiples when possible xd. Yeah socks would be a good one if you have thin yarn left xd
lol. Can you imagine 100 Sparkys in your room?
I'm the complete opposite :P although I did enjoy our swimming lessons we had in school - until we were told we were "too old" to learn how to swim (we had three years of Wednesday morning lessons, then while we were still at the same school, suddenly we were too old o.O)
I think that would make me even crazier within about 5 seconds :P :P

That is def weird. o_O We had swimming lessons during elementary school, all the way through 9th grade. At some point it got a bit awkward having to wear a swimsuit tho-- seing we were in a mixed class boys and girls. :)
:nods: I should have plenty of yarn that is not too thick. I do find going through my bookmarks on my computer, patterns saved on ravelry, patterns saved on facebook and magazines and books a bit overwhelming go figure. lol Takes ages to look through it all. lol

well maybe two and a half seconds if they're all doing wolf whistles at the same time (Sparky's learnt how to do really loud piercing whistles like I can do) :P
nods you'd think that living where we do, there'd be more need for swimming lessons than less - even if it's just to keep people safe if they fall in the river! I can imagine that wasn't a lot of fun for young teenage girls to have to be in mixed classes for that!

I agree, learnign to swim properly can save lives! In our county loads of people live close to water anyways.
Yeah. lol Not to mention for us girls having to hand in a note it was that time of the month to the teacher. :P

K's already been learning to swim for a while - I think he'll be passing my best distance quite soon (well, once the swimming pools are allowed to reopen) ;) The only thing I hated about swimming lessons was having to start at the deep end to do a full length - I hated not being able to touch the bottom! :P
That's one thing I was pleased about with having stopped swimming lessons a while before any of us got to that stage! ;)

I feel overwhelmed thinkign about it. Lol I know when I'm looking for a new project it's not easy.
HAHA. Oh I bet that's not fun to hear lol. Nimah looks like she's having fun today :D
it's not too bad if you're not standing right next to the cage when he whistles :P I tend to do a loud whistle to get Dad's attention (like if Mum's washing up and he's meant to be in the kitchen to dry up the dishes, but he's still upstairs), as it sounded better than just yelling "oi" :P ... but sometimes Sparky does the piercing whistle and Dad gets confused, thinking it was me 😇
I couldn't resist trying the Boho stuff - RP-Paddy is still sulking because Niamh's getting all the attention though :P
That's a great computer setup your HA has today :D What's the background(s) you've used? :D

That does sum it up quite nicely. xD No way I would have the time or energy to make half of it. lol
How old is K now? :) I am with you there, I always liked being able to touch the bottom with my feet also. ;) Even tho I will swim on the deep end as well. I am not the greatest swimmer in the world.. but I can swim well enough at least.
You were def. in luck there then. lol I would often go the local pools with my friends as well for fun. It was only a five minute bikeride for me. :)

he's five (well, five and a quarter laughs).
I preferred to swim across the short widths rather than full lengths, so I could stick to one depth the entire time 😇
After we stopped doing swimming lessons, I never went back to the swimming pool in town... other than one trip when I was doing a week's work experience in a primary school and it just so happened that they went to the same pool for their lessons. Nobody told me I'd be going with them though, so I had to stand on the sides and watch, as I hadn't known I should have brought my costume! :P

hehe. Endless fun :D hehe. I don't think id fancy it right in my ear. Haha thats cute xd I see she's got a turn now xd Its several things. Ill have to post those once im on the computer. Phone isnt so good for that [edit] from the bottom up:
Indeed. xD Hopefully some inpsiration will come soon for some more crafting. :)
It is awesome that he can already swim well then. :D
Hehe.. I guess that workedo ut well tho, as it seemed more relaxed being able to watch from the side rather than goi in the water with a bunch of energetic kids. :)

no wonder I didn't recognise the items - that was awesome layering! And today's outfit looks great too - he's definitely making all that bread look really delicious :D
hehe I had to let her have a turn - Niamh wasn't impressed, but she's had a turn for almost every day this year anyway :P
I just hope he keeps up the swimming when they start getting lessons at school - I think he was given bought a little paddling pool at the beginning of lockdown so he could practise having his face under the water (they'd just started a little bit of underwater swimming in his lessons before lockdown started) ;)
nods also it helped that I was with the kids that were in the play pool - between me finishing swimming lessons at school and helping supervise those kids for my work experience, the council had taken away the small pool we used to use, and replaced it with a "fun pool" with slides and stuff like that instead ;) They didn't ever stand a chance of learning to swim in that one (the deeper pool was used for proper swimming lessons), but they certainly had fun ;)

thanks :D lol I wanted to wear a few new items and Kai was hungry lol. PAddy seems to be having a nice shopping trip too.
good luck :D.
how much of the bread did Kai insist on sampling before he bought anything? :P RP-Paddy's shopping trip lasted an extra day, as I didn't bother changing her outfit yesterday 😇

Thanks. xD How is your leg doing? :)
I am sure he will get back into it once the pools start opening up again. :D Using the paddling pool for a bit of practice in the meantime is a great idea tho. :D j
I do bet the kids loved that! The pools we had were only one big square, one end deeper. No slides or anything like that. We would have to drive to the waterpark in the town next over for that (which is now closed). We still had loads of fun tho. :)
