now that would be an interesting thing to dig up!! She might need a larger shovel though ;) I've got one bag for Dad's allotment clothes sewn so far, just waiting on Mum to finish using the dining table so I can cut the other bag out :P ...but then even if I did have a desk in my room, I'd still have to cut fabric out on the dining table, as I'd need a reasonably large flat surface to make it work!

Has your leg felt better since the new cast has gone on? Hopefully there's not too many things that you have to do today, so you can rest it a bit ;)

It's an unnusual walk to get to the canal (crossing the main road, and going over the railway bridge - on the way back, there's an even bigger road to cross, as we chose to not walk back the same way we came :P), but I did spot a Heron on that particular walk (this was from a few years ago):

The view along the canal is better when they've actually been cutting back some of the greenery laughs I think since we did that walk, they've improved the track (it was just gravel when we went), and maintained some of the greenery so it's not quite so wild / overhanging ;)

^ just imagine some sunshine, seeing as it was a pretty grey murky day whenever it was that I took that photo!

I know. lol But it had to be said .:nods:

That looks like a very nice area for a stroll. :D This is pic from where I do most of my walks. That they we saw a double rainbow, so I had to get a photo of that. ;) There are also a small farm in the area... so I love watching the sheep and goats too. :)

😮 whoa, that's an amazing view! I think if I walked around there, I'd be too busy stopping to take photos than actually doing much walking! laughs

Normally I am just focused on walking and talking to the guy that I go for walks with. :) But when I saw the double rainbow.. I couldnt resist. lol Its a very nice place to live for sure. ^_^ Loads of nature but very close to the city centre. :)

I call the goats my lil buddies: more pics from walks:

Ooh love today’s ha. I needa get that bg lol.
HAHA don’t encourage her :P Though I think the fossils would be cool, a real live one would be more fun LMAO Hope you get the table soon then! It hurt when I cleaned my new water filter. (old one broke when it slipped out of my hands and the water has been tasting nasty ever since.) But now it seems to be doing better and hurting only periodically and nothing like before the cast was replaced with a soft cast. So the cast is definitely working like it should be. Also pretty pictures.

so anything new and exciting? I’m about to finish the second sock. :D It looks like I can get at least another pair or more out of this yarn they sent me :D. Lovely pictures you’ve got too!

Not much happening here. :) Plan on heading out for a walk soon to get some fresh air. That is awesome that you can get another pair! If you are unsure.. you can weigh your socks after you are done to see how many grams you used. (at least all yarn skeins I have bought tells you how many grams it weighs). :) Just an idea. :)

On certain walks with my Dad, he usually likes to stop and wait for a train to go by (from one road, we can see the railway line in the valley, so I think that's his excuse to stop for a breather :P) - we do end up stopping quite often laughs The double rainbow made that picture utterly perfect :D And those goats look awesome! Much more photogenic than the cows that we had in the fields round here ;) That's some amazing views! :D

Thanks :D The only disadvantage of a lot of these items, is I had to get one for the wardrobe and another for

Inga's treasure :P ooo now if there was a way of getting a pet pterodactyl, I think Niamh would be second in line after your HA ;) Is the new water filter doing the job properly, at least? That's good on your leg not hurting as often - with a bit of luck that'll stop hurting completely by the end of today, so you can get about a little more comfortably too ;)

Not taking a breather, just enjoying the scenery I bet he would say. 👼

The goats are quite cute! :D It annoys me a lil with the photo that they are a bit out of center, but nice photo non the less. :D Thanks. :D There is also an area for schools and kindergartens to visit too.. with kayaking and stuff like that. :)

Of course! There's one particularly steep hill we walk up occasionally (it's a good shortcut, but it's seriously steep) and dad always has to "stop and look at the view" for a few minutes half way up the hill :P ^^ you can't quite tell how steep it is from that pic, but that's the view from half way up the hill

It sounds a really idyllic place! :D Have you ever been kayaking?

That looks seriously steep! :O Really idyllic as well tho with with that view. :)

I havent tried kayaking since I was a kid and we got to try it on a schooltrip. I remember it being fun at least. :)

Hope the walk is enjoyable. :) thanks for that idea. The ball doesn’t actually tell me how much is in it. I wish it did. Most do but I’ve looked everywhere and couldn’t find squat. :/

haha I bet she doesn’t think it’s a disadvantage :P Oh yes it works great. It’s a brita, same as the one I accidently broke. I’d like that, especially in the soft cast.

That is weird that it didnt tell you. o-o I suppose you could still weigh the socks.. and then weigh what is left of the yarn. If the socks weigh less than the yarn you have left, you should be good to go as long as you keep the tension and knit the same size. :) I read this tip on knitting fb groups.. and found it quite useful. :D Often its hard to tell if you have enough yarn for another project. :)

I'm pleased we don't have to do that walk on a regular basis laughs

I think if I'd tried that when I was a kid, I'd have just been really paranoid about it tipping over :P

ooo I like the wildcat HA :D hehe nope, Inga is still yelling at me to get on with her profile (or at least her overlay), while still buying her more things - apparently she still doesn't have enough in her treasure chest :P You'd think they'd make the filters a little less fragile though - I can't imagine you're the first to drop one.... although I guess the more people that drop them, the more filters they sell as people would need to get a replacement ;)

I did weigh the ball and the sock and it seems its around 45 grams and I used about half so I should easily get a second pair, possibly a third LOL. Well worth the price lol.

why thank you. Wanted to play with some bday gifts and new items lol.

giggles. You have needy pets. right? I mean I dropped it like less than 6 inches from the sink and still managed to chip it o.0 hehe exactly.

it works brilliantly :D hehe well we knew that from the start, but when you've got 100 pets all yelling for more treasure items / stories / profiles, it gets quite noisy 😇

-nods- I haven't even broken into the second ball. I'll weigh the left over yarn together and see if I can squeeze out a 3rd pair LOL XD

That would be good value for your money. :D I need to one day figure out what to do with the yarn I have in storage. lol Socks might be an option for some of it. :)

thanks :d I wanted to try out the new stuff :D hehe it doesn't seem like a lot when they're all asleep, but when they are all pretty vocal about wanting stuff, you definitely need some headphones! 😇
