Thank you! He came from an egg I found (why do I insist on hatching these things? I really should sell them) and I always want to keep and gene up my first-gens but I was having a lot of trouble figuring out what to do with him. I liked the earthy brown and gray combo all right but it was the cotton candy tert that was throwing me off lol

well, I guess you never know when you might be able to do something with those 'unusual' color combinations XD

I wasn't even expecting Veilspun accents already so getting two of them is a pleasant surprise!

None of the Rockbreaker accents really excite me a whole lot though. There are several that don't really make me think of Earth (more like Wind or Shadow or Plague or something maybe...the wispy ones and the reference to digging graves). Seems like the only actual geology-related accents we get are variations on the geode theme and, while pretty, that actually weirds me out a little on supposedly-living creatures. My favorite of the new skins is probably Living Fossil but it's a whole-body skin (which is not my preference) and for a rare breed I don't have many of, so meh. Maybe I can learn to love bedtime story; it reminds me a bit of the Children of Atom from Fallout lol.

I'm most excited about the new scene/background; it's just what my lead geologist Jasper needed.

Good luck finding a Moon mate...I'm sure the perfect dragon will come along eventually. :)

I agree. I really try to be patient and understanding (I know Subeta is severely understaffed right now, I understand they have a lot going on in real life, really I do, but it just keeps happening with every event this year). It almost feels like they are intentionally delaying the start of everything until the last minute just to troll us. In the past, the trolling was kind of cheeky and cute (you know, when there were a couple event-adjacent releases leading up to the actual start of an event), but this year it feels a bit more on the mean-spirited side. =x Also, it's well into Sunday, which is technically no longer "last week" (at least in America, we consider Sunday the first day of the new week and that's where Subeta is based), so the promise about it starting last week was not fulfilled. I'm not gonna riot about it but I will scowl in Subeta's general direction.

I like the Veil skins but it'll probably be a while before I have dragons that can utilize them. But they are nice...so into the hoard they go!

Yep, we always have to be different over here. XD I actually just realized it wasn't standard for the rest of the world to start the week on Sunday...I looked it up before I posted because I always research the bejeezus out of everything before I speak.

For me, Sunday ist mostly a workday outside school vacations. I have 25 in 9 months (3 months are vacation here).

Sunday is a workday for you? Is that normal there? I work Sundays but that's because I work a very nontraditional schedule. Normally folks get Saturday and Sunday off here. 3 months of vacation sure would be a dream lol; we're lucky if we earn a week off in a year. I do live in a capitalist shithole though so...urgh.

It's because of my students who mostly have a full job and have to do courses at the weekend. The 3 months are only teaching breaks like school vacations, I have to work in my practice nevertheless yet I try to be only 2 days per week there then, because rest of the year, mostly 6-days-week.

Ew, 6-day workweek...I guess you really deserve the summer break then lol. I have deliberately arranged my life so I only have to work 4 days per week (10 hour shifts, so still 40 hours per week, but overtime can stuff it). I don't think I could ever go back to 5-day weeks, let alone 6 days. Having 3-day weekends every week feels like I've got it made (it's a sad state of affairs really, but I'll take what I can get until the robots do all the work for us lol)

yea i figured that would have been friday or saturday not today.. like said, today is technically the first day of the next week already. its like that here in Canada too but it annoys me as work/school weeks start on monday xD
