No but I'm pretty sure I'm going to go ahead with the plans for that gen-1 that I scried earlier. I think I want to get the gene scrolls I need before I use the breed change on him though so I'm going to have to spend some time in the Coli first looking for those petals. I don't have particular plans regarding a mate for him yet. I want a Beetle one but I just don't care for that gene on the females, unfortunately...I love the Branch on them though so I'll probably make another one of those. I'm surprised because I'm not usually into flowery things but it really suits them. I'd like to save up more gems before buying another breed scroll anyway so it'll be a while.

I haven’t been on FR in probably a month. I’ve been so busy with Subeta things I just haven’t had time. How do you get these ancients? I guess I expected to get 2 eggs like we did with the Banescales but I suppose not? What a bummer. They are very pretty! 😍

No, either you buy hatchies from the AH or buy a Gem Scroll for 1000 gems for a breed change, alas.

Yeah, it sure would have been nice if we'd at least gotten one egg or breed scroll for free to celebrate the release. I'm sure plenty of users would have still wanted to buy another to have a breeding pair. The way that site does cash shop stuff just hits me as super cash-grabby in a way that Subeta never does. Oh well, anyway there are some little gifts from Galore though, so don't miss out on those...there's a new familiar (and you can brew more of them for a limited time if you want extras).

I am going to make Beetle work on one of those dergs eventually!

Oh, a new breed? I had no idea, haven't checked FR much since the last event. Now I have a good reason to, this is a good reminder, lol [Edit] ah, well it will be awhile until I can get any, either by saving enough gems for 2 breed changes, or wait until prices drop a bit in the AH. I really do love the new breed though<3

me too :D Yeah, while I do like the banescales, I don't LOVE them. They are quite fierce looking, which does make perfect sense for a dragon, lol. But we need some cute too. I am glad there's a mix. Also, I looked at some of the genes for the veilspun and really liked what I saw so far. Hopefully we get more genes for the other ancient breeds, I'd like to see similar things for gaolers and banescales

they are amazing, i was sad we didn't get any eggs or at least genes given with the other ancients we have gotten. it will be a while now before i get them. i really love the branches for the 3rd gene.

This is what I've come up with so far in the scrying workshop. But sadly I don't care for this same configuration on the female base (I think the shell just covers too much) and I already have a male dragon picked out who will have Branch instead of Beetle. Someday I'm sure I'll end up with one like this though, maybe when they are more readily available from the AH.

I think I really like Thorn too but I haven't played with it enough to be certain. The color schemes keep turning out odd on the ones I try (like kind of clashy secondary colors in the gene). Aw, Branch hatchies are so cute. Liono looks amazing!
