This is Hibiscus. I hatched him to be an Earth rep but that did not spark joy for him. I finally realized he just wants to make tea.

Oh, somehow I missed it! Perhaps because I only have female Faes at the moment... Have to pick one up nevertheless!

My last additions were my Veilspuns, they are not all fully gened, though.

I just breed my (fully gened) trip Fire pair, they got only 1 egg last time yet now 5, yeah! You are very welcome to a free baby if you like the parents! The Veils are on page 7 in my lair.

The female of my trip Cream Veils still needs Fade, never in the shop when looking, haha. I am looking for a mate for my trip Moon and trip Robin. And I got this colorful one gifted:

I always grab a copy of every festival skin even though I'll probably never need most of them. You just never know what you'll find a use for (and I've seen enough of FR's resale market to know that you don't want to have to buy festival stuff after it's retired, oof).

Kauluwela is very pretty! I need a Veilspun with Diaphanous at some point, really like that gene. I also need more fire in my lair so I would love to adopt one of those babies when they're ready!

FYI there's a copy of the Veilspun Fade gene on the AH right now for less than Marketplace cost!

I'm still working on getting more Veils in my lair too. You might recall my Spider-Man-lookin' Light rep that I hatched last Brightshine? I recently figured out what to do with him too. I had trouble making these colors work together but I think he actually looks pretty nice as a Veilspun. I just need to collect some junk for Swipp to get Firefly for him.

I'm looking forward to it! It's a good festival; I like its aesthetic. I can enjoy festivals more than I did in my first year now too because I got my reps pretty much sorted out and don't feel the need to Coli-grind for an egg every time. x')

Coli-grinding can be demanding. Often, I work for an hour an no chests....

I'm pretty burned out on it tbh. I still try to do a little to catch new fams and get materials but I can't stick with it the way I used to, even with a good podcast to listen to. I just keep having to wander away from it. Things like a round where I don't get any items can irritate me so much I just quit for the day, especially if it's a boss. I find that so insulting lol

Haha, yes. I forget about battling here and there, I also don't like questing here. Little bit on the boring site...... even with music.

on the subject of the Coli; I am trying out a new Coli-build, and I am loving it. Usually my mage build is so weak that one hit would finish them off, but this new build is actually a fun challenge. I started building up another one, too, and I hope the have a full team (Fire, Wind, Shadow or plague...). The build is HERE if anyone is interested. It's cheap!

As for my newest 'project' I got a dragon to match one of my randos from NotN. She isn't that great, not to mention overdressed; but their children should be adorable.

WOAH! Hibiscus looks amazing 😍 I wish I had a dragon to show off as well, but as of late I've just been doing the regularly dailies and nothing else D: I will get back into working on my dragons soon I hope :3

I kind of enjoy questing and battling on here; some days I don't bother (especially if there's lag) but it's a little more varied than Coli and there's only a fixed amount you can do, so it's not perpetual tedium. It's also satisfying to watch your sP grow from questing and to earn EXP from BQs. I feel like I accomplish a little bit toward my goals here every day. You don't accumulate any sort of points or currency that way from FR battling (if you're using fully-leveled dragons) and the good drops are just so rare it's more frustrating than anything. I like a little grind but it's a bit TOO grindy haha. Also that gosh dang captcha with the invisible dragons just ruins my groove every time.

Thank you! :D I got into kind of a lull where I wasn't feeling very inspired and I was just doing my dailies too but I'm getting back into it. I even stopped maxing out G&G every day for a few weeks (all that treasure I could have had, ugh). Which dragon(s) do you plan to work on next? I still have a bunch of sad, neglected basic Nocturnes that need spiffing up.

Oh gosh, I haven't played G&G in like a month sweats LOL! I've been slacking on that. I really should get back on it D: I also have a bunch of Nocturne's to work on 😅 I hadn't picked a dragon to work on next yet tbh :O I think my plan was to work on one of my Banescale's next though ^0^

I'm probably going to turn some of my Nocturnes into Banescales. Their genes are just really fun to work with (Chevron and Arrow in particular do neat things).

They really do 😍 I'm really hoping they come out with Crystal/Facet for that breed at some point :O
