Any opinions on what I should do to this little fae? This is the scry I came up with, but I don't know if it's just too busy.

I think what you did looks great! And it makes me think of Halloween!! :-)

The colors are great and the wings remind me of a gorgeous tropical butterfly. The body is a little bit busy, yes.

Does anyone have a FIRE nest I can use for a Halloween hatch? I want them bred early (like on the 15th) and hatched on Halloween so I can set up pre-sales. As a fee, you can have your pick of hatchling or we can talk treasure or your terms. Thanks in advance :)

Nice to see some activity here again! I am still diligently doing my FR dailies but otherwise I'm just in kind of a holding pattern. Having now been there a full year, I've acquired something that passes for a flight rep during each festival. I've got 120 dragons (which is a few more than I actually want but no one seems to want my extras so rather than exalt them, I've just kept them) and I've got them gened and dressed pretty much how I want them. Coli has gotten pretty boring tbh. I'm not sure what to set for goals at this point. The thing that seems to excite me the most these days is acquiring new familiars and bonding with them. I currently have 628 familiars, 386 of which are Awakened. I wish they'd bring back the achievement system so I'd have more concrete goals to work toward.

That's a lot of familars, congrats! There are so many cute ones yet many in the Gem marketplace also.....

I try to stay out of the Gem Marketplace at this point, everything is so expensive on that site! If they'd charge a little less for each item, I'd probably spend a lot more total. I haven't spent actual money there in several months; I just wasn't happy with how far my dollars went (or didn't go, as the case may be). Genes are stupid expensive. I'm just saving up the gems I get from free activities for now.

Yes, the price for genes is apalling. I would spend on them if they would be half the prize yet even that seems to be too high.

Half the current price wouldn't be too bad. Then at most they'd be about the price of user-made skins (many of which I have happily purchased and I can't believe those are so much cheaper than genes; that seems upside down to me). And if they had more sales I'd jump on those.

Sale isn't something the site does very often, alas. And I give my gems more to designers as well.

Yeah, they should definitely do more sales. I don't know anything about the financial standing of that site though; maybe they're not hurting for cash and have no real incentive to change anything.

So anyway, I guess they're going to be releasing a new dragon soon? Today? A Shadow ancient, perhaps? That's exciting!

(Sorry to disappear haha) Yeah, there was a sidebar announcement on the front page about it, and I don't know if you've checked yet, but it has now been released! It's...very hairy lol. The breed change scrolls for them come from the Gem Marketplace (grr) but I went ahead and grabbed one since I had the gems saved up. I haven't decided which derg to use it on though because the site's being very laggy and the scrying workshop is super slow.

Edit: This breed is growing on me pretty fast. I have this first-gen with really blah colors that I didn't know what to do with but I'm loving it as a Veilspun...the tert (branches/blossoms) really makes it. Hm, but do I want to spend my scroll on this guy? Not sure yet...

I like the male sprite and the Diaphanous gene, not sure how to mix it with the others yet I'll find out what fits this gene best!

I really like Diaphanous too, and I like the idea of Beetle although I haven't found a color combo I think looks really good with it yet. I also prefer the male pose but I think the female one could look great with the right combo too. I'm tired of fighting the lag though; I'll experiment more with it later...

Yes, it was pretty slow in the designer. Beetle, have to look this one up.....

I try to go onto fr every day even if just to gather food and feed them. I still love them all but I haven't had time to work on breeding or battling lately. I freaking LOVE the new Veilspun breed! Pretty sure I'm going to need to make some room so I can have a bunch of them <3

I plan to have at least one pastel pair, too.
