Happy scrying! And dressing. And finding stuff you suddenly need to buy for your dragons lol

I love her! 💚 I bought her a whole starsilk set as soon as she grew up too. She's just so radiant! For the record, I do really like Leaf though too. In fact, Leaf Crystal is brighter and prettier than Radioactive Crystal. Which is disappointing because my favorite minerals and compounds are bright green radioactive crystals and they are prettier than those dragons; they could have done better, oh well.

I think I have enough now to buy another level of lair space and still have time to save enough for the Gala but that's only because I finally chilled with buying genes for a minute, since even with frequent stalking of the marketplace, I just can't find Ragged or Tear for my Banescale and I want to finish working on her before moving on. Why are these genes so freakin' rare? Ugh.

Oh yeah, the treasure reward for familiar bonding is so small it's downright stupid. But the chests are quite nice. And it has occurred to me that if I really wanted to work for it, it is apparently possible to swap out familiars on a dragon indefinitely in one day and collect the reward for each one. I guess that would add up if I wanted to do that for each of my awakened familiars every day...but even then, there's probably a more lucrative use of my time, like training exalt fodder or sleeping or something.

I seem to recall people offering limited invitation codes but I never felt, like, worthy of asking for one from a stranger, which again made me feel weird about the whole thing. I'm guessing it was because they knew their servers couldn't handle too many users in the beginning though, which if that was the case, was a wise move...plus, creating artificial demand for things always makes them more desirable (just ask De Beers) so that was probably an all-around good strategy on their part. Anyway wow, can you imagine having enough treasure saved up there to just buy anything whenever you feel like it? lol But we'll get there someday...

I'm waiting for the Banescale hype to die down before I even think of hunting after some genes. I managed to get 1 Banescale gene while I was in the coli. I'm not sure if I will ever use it or not... It's the rib cage one, I can't remember the name of it. But it's not my favorite gene for the Banescales.

Yeah, I've noticed that you can change familiars on dragons in a day like that. But, l don't think I'd waste my time on all of that. The chests are awesome! I love getting them ^0^ That part of of familiars is awesome! LOL! Or sleeping XD That made my laugh too hard. I think sleeping sounds much better than that.

Right?! I feel like at this rate it's going to take me years before I will have a comfortable amount of treasure XD We have too many dragons to gene up and dress!

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to just wait for the hype to die down too. As poorly-received as Banescales seemed to be, I'm surprised there's still such a demand for those genes (I wonder why it's those particular ones though; I find other Banescale genes in stock often enough). Congrats on that coli gene! I actually really like that one but I don't have any current plans that utilize it...I think it's best used with a tert that is a bony color (or maybe like a metallic color to resemble part of a robotic exoskeleton) so it doesn't suit the dragons I have now.

Indeed, some things are just not worth the trouble. But sleeping is almost always a good use of one's time. :P

It seems they don't, but I was also under the impression that Banescale Breed Change Scrolls don't restock often either, yet I've seen them in stock several times (I even got one, although it was a lucky catch since an immediate refresh after my purchase displayed them out of stock).

I'm trying not to buy any Banescales at least until I get to breed my own. I'm really trying to slow down with the dragon acquisition. But I did just brew my first Bogsneak egg at Baldwin's and I'm very happy with what I got. Here's a scry I did for him: How about that update? Fiona's Fantastic Familiars sounds awesome...an opportunity for a little extra treasure and a way to bond with retired/rare familiars that are impossible to get. Also, yay for progress updates on the next modern breed. I've gotta say, FR does a pretty great job with communication...

I didn't realize they were working on more breeds! Oh my gosh.... They better let us have more lair space with all these breeds coming out! XD

I may be a daily player on flight rising and haven't made my way into design or using genes very much, but I am slowly getting better. Finally figured out the best way to farm when we have an element event. Finally hit level 6 at Baldwin's Bubbling Brew. Pretty poor, but love my dragon collection. I did design for both of my banescales I hatched, one using petals toxin contour and the other using skink , spinner, basic. Even figured out how to put those designs on their profiles. I really like the scry you did for Flame! Reminds me of summertime and a really tasty fruit salad. :D Don't feel bad about going at your own pace; you're still making progress and as long as you're having fun, that's what matters. I actually tend to get in too much of a hurry with stuff like this and I end up just always feeling impatient...then when I'm done, I'm like "ok, now what?" ...I wish I could just take my time and savor the journey lol.

I finally just bought the Ragged and Tear genes I needed for Pandora off the AH. I was absolutely sick of refreshing the Marketplace and never seeing them there. I found them for sale for only a 5kT markup each and figured it was worth the extra cost to just be done with it so I can move on.

Well, I'm happy I have both my Banescales fully gened now but I checked the progeny tool and their offspring would all be hideous lol, so I won't be breeding them after all. Guess I'll be in the market for more Banescales for breeding but it's not a big priority.

One day I will get Flame done. Pandora and Prometheus look really great. How frustrating that they won't breed well together.

Their colors are just too far apart so there are too many strange mixes of everything in between. I'm super happy with them individually though and that's more important to me. I'll find them mates eventually...just need more room for dragons first (the eternal FR struggle).

Oops I lost track of your ping ^^; Anyway, yep, you can brew eggs but only Bogsneak eggs (and I believe that's the only way to get them). You have to be Level 16. It's so tempting to brew so many eggs now lol.

Bogsneaks might be my favorite. Took me a while to get used to their necks haha but otherwise they're perfect and I like their lore.

I was wondering the same thing, if our progress would count retroactively or if we'll have to re-bond with awakened ones so we can get the new rewards for doing so. It'll be interesting to see how it all works.
