I time my quests as well. It usually takes me 4min to do 10 quests. Last time I managed that was Nov 30th. The quickest Ive done the 90 since then has been just over 2 hours. BIG step from my usual time.

I complain all the time but never for that long because it usually blows over in a day or two.

• the last time i complained about site event lag a few certain people didnt like that fact that I complained saying it happens every site event. & what do you know, here we are again. Another site event, another massive lagfest.

& yes we get told ok we did this & that it should work better/be gone now. & yes the majority of the time that is the case. This time no. But hey Lets add new stuff that we can do on the site. Just wondering how all that makes any sense. When this site is literally a turtle. It took me close to 5 min just to sign in. ho-hum

Everything I said about pages outside the forums loading ok is also apparently a lie, or quickly became one :c

I don't understand why it did such a ricochet (from terrible, to decent, to bad and quickly approaching terrible) or did it so quickly.

There do seem to be occasional bursts of loading ok still, but they're getting fewer and further between. It also might just be coincidence or me not noticing immediately (since I'm having to leave tabs and come back to them).

Giving up on questing (and pretty much everything else...) until this lag gets fixed.

have been trying to do quests on different days these past month, but quit since the lag is so freaking annoying every time I try -_-

lag today is by far the worst since Lumi started :( I'd really like to do my quests and stuff, but with this lag it's pretty much unbearable...

But the lag came back the very next day, The lag came back, we thought it was a goner, The lag came back, it just wouldn't stay awayyyyyyyy!

PS. Still getting multi-minute page loads since 2AM.

I still have dozens of friends trees to fill. I was home for 4 days (friday - monday) hoping to get all of my gift giving done, and I did pretty much nothing. I can barely get anything to load.

Another morning, another lag 😩 At this point I'm not even praying for the lag to go away, just to be later because I like to do stuff as soon as I wake up (because no energy to be productive). Also, is there a staff explanation to that? (Tried to find something, but you know, lag) I've been active for 4-5 years, have seen staff improving the servers God knows how many times, while the amount of users online at once hasn't changed much and yet here we are, in the 15th page of this thread 😔 I know nothing about programming so a "Why We Must Suffer Like This for Dummies" would be appreciated, specially because I've gone to others sites with more traffic and server-heavy nature and never saw such big issues (and no, not talking about big companies)

I'm glad I found this thread because I thought it was just me.

I love this site, but I've been so frustrated this month that I'm barely motivated to do a few dailies. I really hope it's fixed soon.

Wizard and Blue building quests are impossible to complete. Lag is so bad that that the time sensitive rewards are gone.
The wardrobe refuses to load at all, and it took three tries and nearly ten minutes to edit this post to add that.

Doing the new Ian quests is a complete nightmare. Took me over five minutes to get two items. Two items.

I'm usually not one to complain (having been through so many site-wide lags, I sort of just got used to it) but this Luminaire lag has been so awful from day 1, I don't even do any dailies besides collecting Melody items. And that in itself takes ages to load.

I just want to add a few comments that I hope may help? The lag isn't consistent. I can do 5+ quests in about a minute or two, and then it takes over three minutes to do two. And even with those two the lag isn't consistent - the quest takes forever to load, one shop search loads fast, the other slow, buying could be slow or fast, and same with turning in.

I've also noticed that there's more lag in the morning than the afternoon. I'm not usually on in the evening, so I'm not sure what it's like then.

It's a bit frustrating that new quests were released when it's hard to finish the existing ones each day. I keep wanting to reactivate my Gold Account, but I keep putting it off because questing is one of my main uses for a GA.

Today's been the worst yet for me. The site has always run normally for me for a few hours in the afternoon (UK time). It was OK for about an hour today and now it's back to every increasing lag.

I'm trying to do quests which might give me a Morty Card but it looks like I won't be able to complete most of them. What makes it even more frustrating is having a GA when I can't take full advantage of it.

Its awful, really. There's no way to do quests. Thanks god I did at least my Wizard quest right after midnight when the site was running fine.

The forums are hanging again, if they load at all.

Same here the site has been running smoothly for the past three of four days and today when I logged in the lag is back and very bad at the moment for me.
