Seems to be fixed. Its midnight and the site works fine. HALLELUJAH!

Today is probably the first day that I didn't experience any lag during server/cron reset at 12 midnight EDT. Over the previous days, it's very, very laggy during the first 5-15 minutes after the reset, with resolution later in the day.

It's back to being laggy ever since the CW Pawn Shop opened up

It's now 3.23 am Subeta time. The site is so laggy it's impossible to do quests. The wardrobe is taking forever to load items and save an outfit to wear on site.

3:40am It has taken me 20 min to do FIVE quests. Here i thought only doing the 5 quests for Shinwa & getting my free stuff off of Melody @ stupid O' Clock would take me less than 5 min.

You'd think for a site that [had to have] made an easy thousand within the first couple hours of this sale, would have the money to invest in proper servers that can handle more than 200 people at a time. e_e

Joining in the "lag" chorus. Everywhere on site. Actually worse than the days before for me. 2 or 3 clicks will go through well, then it's stalling again.

Lag is back. Sorry guys, that sucks.

I've been thinking long and hard if I should make this post or not.... sigh

I've been an active member of this site since 2008, and for each of these years I've encountered lag in every single holiday we've had, making BQ, questing, and currently Lumi Shopping very hard if not impossible.

I just don't understand why we have so much lag, if we've been through so many updates and maintenance, and stuff. It just feels like no matter what has been done to fight the lag it hasn't worked at all... which is really sad because I love Subeta, and here I am fighting through the lag to be around.

Currently doing ONE quest takes at least 2 minutes (yes, I timed it).

I know , and and everyone works non-stop so we can enjoy the holidays, but seriously.... the lag is just awful most of the time I can be around, which is around 7-9 hours after Subeta midnight, and not being able to accomplish pretty much anything is really frustrating.

Just here to say that I liked 's post, because otherwise I would just sound like a broken record. :)

Completely agree with Silvy. I've been questing for about three hours now and I've only managed to do 4/10 of the quests givers and Drill's quests. I'll still finish them all and BQs, cause I have nothing els to do, but others don't have that kind of time...

I know it's being worked on, but it doesn't seem to be working. The past /two months/ have been a lag fest at least half the time...

I feel like we all need a medal for putting up with this.

I also feel like more communication would have been nice. There are pages and pages if people shouting into the void about the lag and we get an update like a week later. A "we see what you're saying" would have be nice earlier.

I've been affected by the lag off and on just like everyone else. Holiday lag is so normal to me at this point, but it's always upsetting. There are times when the site lags constantly for hours at a time. Times when it doesn't lag at all. Right now, I seem to experiencing long loading times on about 30% of my clicks, but otherwise the site is lightning fast.

Editing posts is continuing to give problems. Sometimes you can see the correct post and sometimes you can't. There seems to be a major caching problem.

I know people wanted the CW Pawn open again, but I think the shop should have been delayed like the Black Friday sale was.

The lag is already making is difficult to navigate around the site and do quests. I'm worried that eager CW lovers might encounter errors due to the lag and end up not getting that coveted CW; they'll have put their hard-earned CSC into the void and got nothing.

If incidents like that start to occur, we'll ALL have to prepare for a VERY rocky road.

Agree with you! Maybe some appreciation gifts are in order?

2008? Whoa, that's a long time! I've only been here three years. But I totally agree with your sentiments.
