So this is a standard set I think most people would use:

Adjusting it for what you have, I would use this set:

While UltimaPlus Tag is more useful than Recycle Blaster, they have two different functions (one is a healer and the other a blaster) and I don't think they can necessarily be swapped for each other. Luckily you have room for both!

Why I order them this way: Turn 1: Rainbow Vortex + Intricate Energized Helmet = 100% blocker to keep you alive and a 100% freezer to freeze your opponent, which also protects you from being frozen for two turns Turn 2: Recycle Blaster + Paintbrush Blades = Blast your opponent's weapons while they're frozen Turn N: Paintbrush Blades + Sierrac Basal Ice Flail or Rapier of Error = Keep whittling down your opponent's health and hopefully freeze them in the process Then use the Phoenix Quill and UltimaPlus Tag whenever your health gets uncomfortably low.

You could swap out the Rapier of Error for anything else if you want, like a shield (Blackmoons War Plate), second blaster (Blackmoon Hand Blaster), bomb (Captured Eternal Flame), etc.

That's the first useful advice I've gotten about the weapons I have and how to use/order them. Thank you so much!

Thanks guys! I think I did come close to maybe beating him once last year. So hopefully now that my pet has higher stats (he had only just gotten to T12 during October of last year), and I have some better scrolls and stuff, I'll have a decent shot this year. :)

Staff have determined that the term "Whoracle" is completely acceptable in the parameters of the site rules. So the term is acceptable to be spoken by users on the forums (there are add-ons you can use to filter out the words you don't like, so i recommend using those. Here is one for Firefox), and thus stays in the guide...in only the abbreviations section. I've gone ahead and removed it along with the encouragement to call shinwa a seacow in the stat booster section. It is a fair compromise for everyone, as now the terms are optional to look at.

Unless it's a new challenger that 's super tough (like Lukien) I don't pay attention really with my main pet since he is so strong now. I do have some notes on challenger difficulty that I took before he was T13. Oranos I am always paying attention to strategy and weapons since he is now taking on the impossible challengers.

I'm not the only woman here who has stood up and said "Whoracle" makes us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I'm surprised that alone isn't enough to remove the word completely.

I'm also saddened to hear staff are fine with a misogynistic slur. That's not the Subeta I know.

We always gotta be curious around here! We're lucky we got nice veterans here to teach us the important stuff. :D Might actually be able to decide on a final build! I was really vacillating on speed. I think I might go one higher than Prodigy, since I'm not super worried about crits - but I like to slam through BQs as fast as possible. :D

As far as whether to get Swash or USS first - is there anyone you are trying to beat in BQs? You'll get some added value if one of the two weapons helps you get extra experience every day. :) I got both for a good deal. If you don't have them on your WL, make sure to add them. Swing by the sales thread and just check - I've gotten both mine for like 30-40% off in sales threads. :) And stalk the shop search at least once a week too!

I say this semi-sarcastically: we aren't a marginalized group, therefore our opinions do not matter.

I don't think most people would use the word 'whore' on the site, but I would hope that other people would also call it out when they see it. We can hopefully still change the minds of other users by explaining our perspective to them.

Again, my personal perspective is that the word has no place on a progressive site like Subeta. It's a misogynistic term whose entire function is to shame women. Using it to describe an NPC who didn't give you the stats you want is very bizarre.
