I originally wasn't going to say anything either so I'm glad you brought it up first. I know the c-word is used casually in some countries, but I've never heard the w-word used with anything other than negative connotations about women. It made me extremely uncomfortable seeing it on the forums, even if it wasn't directed at a person x_x But I'm glad it was all just a misunderstanding and hopefully it gets removed from that guide.

Whoracle's never been a problem before, so unless staff tells me otherwise, I don't see a reason to change it. For the record, it's been there since I took over the guide from Echo (who has since left the site for unknown reasons). It never fazed me, so I just left it. Not like we're calling her the C word or anything that offensive. =/ shrugs

i should've gotten all of them; i have the ones that drop stat eggs marked on my own spreadsheet. i just get thrown off by the number of spiked and potion eggs 8)

but yeah! you struggle to earn the cool stuff and then everyone that uses it after just cruises through their fights, it's great haha

Calling a character a 'whoracle' for not giving you the stats you want is very bizarre. Imo, it's just as derogatory against women as the c-word. Because it's been there before doesn't mean it can't be removed now, but if you don't see a problem with it then I'm not sure what else I can say.

I'd vote in favor of removing it. It's clearly an outdated nickname anyway, given that not a single person remembers hearing it before. And we don't need to come up with a different nickname. Everyone just calls her Oracle. I've never seen any different.

(Plus, it's not really in any good taste. No one here is arguing to keep it.)

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with your guys' stance. I can't even really explain my perspective without further pissing people off, so I'm not getting into it because it has no business here in this thread. Whether that nickname is only there because that's what Echo called her or someone long ago found it to be an interesting play on words and made it up as a joke, I don't know. I never questioned it because it never bothered me personally, and that's generally how I roll in life.
