It's looking pretty unlikely that we'll be getting a Gelatin War this year, unless they wanted to do it after Morostide, since Fireside and Luminaire aren't as activity-intense as Morostide is.

We'll see, I suppose, but if it does happen it will be more like a surprise bonus. I'm not really expecting it anymore until maybe next year.

You'd probably need a 100% blocker of some sort as well, or else you'd probably just end up tying if your opponent gets even one icon by you (at least for the tough opponents).

I think it'll be a while before we have another Gelly War after how many cores went out last year - 186 versus the usual 25. Unless they want to forego the Hydragellos and just have the other gellies by themselves, that would be fine with me.

I'd be okay with that too, it would give people a chance to work on more of the other achievements.

I think it's been suggested before too of coming up with a new weapon to make or something else to use the Core for than just creating the ME. If they did that, it would probably help cut down on the number in circulation currently. I still have my extra copy sitting in my shop that I haven't done anything with yet since I already had one for the ME.

And you'd have to put some into strength too because it's pointless getting crits if you're only doing them at 10 strength.

There's a known issue with the cache causing HAs to keep switching between new and old one, staff are looking into it and hoping to have it resolved soon-ish.

I'm sorry to hear that :( ME is such a necessary weapon, too... but I'm not sure what they could do other than raising the minimum damage for a core by a lot? That would at least dissuade the people who already have one from getting another.

It feels like it's been a long time since we got a decent new weapon. The last thing I can remember is the Malhuili from the Bad Omens plot, which was already two years ago (and even that is only somewhat useful if you need light or ice block and have nothing else). And then some new scrolls like the Cold Blast Scroll for freezing, and the Strong Stomp Scroll from the last Gelatin War which I can't remember what it does but I thought it had to do with freezing as well.

It would be interesting to try if it didn't take so much time and resources. With the leeches, I wonder what would happen if health was drained to 0 (I assume you could never even get into a battle).

It's also a wearable, so people could then get a second copy for their wardrobe. :)

I agree... kinda sad they didn't do it during like July but hey... they could be planning something big.... lol trying to be hopeful.

I have a pet that I purposefully drained to 0 of each stat (except level), and yeah it says he can't battle because he has no HP. So you'd need at least 1 point to even battle at all.

I don't really remember what the Panzer Hydra weapons do either, except one of them is a scaling weapon (maybe?). Blade of the Bonfire also doesn't seem like it's really that great considering how expensive it is, we're probably better off going for the Natasha or OHS or something else first.

A new plot prize weapon with some decent stats would be nice though. I mainly just want a plot of some kind. :P

Yeah, even if they don't do a Gelatin War soon, I would really like some kind of event in addition to the usual annual stuff. Although I am looking forward to the regular events as well, the item content and art has been really good lately.

And I think there was new loot for some of the other challengers too. If we do get new loot again, I'm sure it will be neat as well. The content department has really been on fire the past few years.
