I would say once you get used to the site you should start training a battle pet up. It can be expensive and time consuming but worth it in the long run. We have a very friendly battle community and that is where I hang out or the Custom Wear forums. are very knowledgeable and friendly and hold contest if you have time to do it. I try to do at least 3 to 5 questors quest a day. I don’t have time to do them all. I usually do Wizard, Library, Quentin, Pete and Cinthia. But if you can do all of them that would be great. Subeta is an enormous game that will take time to get used to. You can buy most of the map pieces fairly cheap from the user shops! It will not be long before you can do Carl's quest.

I like to do baking, visit Fantine for instructions. Burning your baked goods isn't a matter of when you come to get them; it is just random. I did not realize that at first and it was good to learn.

Another thing to remember is that you have to do Wizard quests fast if you want sP from them, but if you do them slower, you still get Wizard tokens. The tokens are used to buy things from token shop -- which is usually empty; there will be News announcements when things are in it, and you can buy one thing every 12 hours. Usually you can get 2 or 3 items each time the token shop is stocked.

These items cost typically around 100-500 wizard tokens. You can get about 200-350 Wizard tokens per day if you do the Wizard quests.

There is also a shop called Blackheart Hollow, which usually has nothing in it. On very rare occasions (once or twice a year for most people, lucky people might get one a month) there is an item there and it also is paid for with wizard tokens.

Wizard tokens are also used to play Carnival games, and for the vending machines.

If you do the quests for Major Drills, you will get a random item for each successful quest. These items are usually not very valuable, but occasionally they are worth a lot of sP.

I get you there with the quests. Often, mostly nowadays, I skip them. A little bit boring after all the time and so time consuming.

I can totally see that. When I joined back then, lovely introduced me here, yet I didn´t understand a thing. It was totally confusing and I hated all the adds. I only took things out of the DC now and then until I had 250 items and had to found out what to do then, discover vaults and such. I got smitten by the first event then, so much fun.

if you are interested in achievements i suggest you to get the ones from Sarah quests. it will be more difficult as you hoard Sp

For new players:

if you find bugs, you can post them in the bug forum. Try to be sure they are bugs and not stuff you don't understand, but if you make a mistake, that is OK too.

If you are confused, most players are very helpful, and also if no one is around who you want to ask, there's a Help and Questions forum that is always around and helpful.

There's a site called subetalodge that has even more info about items than you can find here on subeta. It will tell you, for example, if an item is a "Genetech Combo" what items you use to create it. Or it will tell you what year in an event store to find an item you want to buy... items can be hard to find in event stores without that knowledge.

introducing RP is going on still, not yet complete, but it's gone far enough that we are ready for game start.

One player still hasn't posted their character yet. That has me worried. Last I heard, the player was going to do it when they woke up... three days ago. so.... hopefully they are ok.

But even if that player ends up unable to participate, the team is going to be fine. How is your team's stuff going? Is chi having fun as a new player? I hope so.
