His flight won't be too long, since he's on a business trip to Germany, so he'll fly by on the weekend and then head back home to Mexico :P

At least this way we'll be able to see one friend from back home since it doesn't look like we'll be able to visit home this year :( Husband has a few external rotations (within Spain) that would require extra payments, so it's either this year (living on a really tight budget) or next year for a cousin's wedding (he'd be traveling for a week and I'd be staying an additional week or two because he has to return to work) sigh

This friend is the one who introduced us! So I'm so excited that I finished cleaning LOL (And just in time to put out the load from the washer and hang it to dry :P

Unstable fairy uses 16 AP. The only downside is it scales with speed and has an unreliable attack. I use it more for the chance to freeze than attack but it does suck that it won’t be useful for my pee that has no speed or any pet with low speed.

I have no idea what either does, so I have to take recommendations as instructions. At this point in my battling I basically use 2 weapons: Ice Rose& Freezewand of Doom and the scrolls: Gale Force, Gift of the Forj, Divine Denizhen & Aero Subzero Whenever I try the other (tier 7) weapons I have, the results aren't as good. I found out the Trident of the Banished One (someone lent me) makes the Replica Minotaur Knocker I tried not work like it is supposed to work. There are so many little details like that, I get flooded! :P

It made Strength, Defense, and Speed even for me...

Also, I find it funny that Tome have two options now.. 'use' and 'read' so, if you use a tome, do you just check it at out pet, and it explodes into sparkles and ta-da, they have new stats?

Ugh. I know me. I know I'll probably forget and try attacking at T13. Which is why I think it's always a good idea to regularly check the battle guides as you progress through a tier.

The big plus is that it is infinite use so pets w/lower AP find it really can make a difference. While it clearly doesn't have the freeze % that the single use scrolls do, I have always found it very helpful for the mid-upper tier pets taking on freeze happy foes.

Could you give me an example of when you would use it, ie against opponent X with weapons Y and Z.

Do you basically just hope that it outperforms its freeze rate to eek out a desperation win?

On average for a Tier 11 pet, it heals for about 2% per turn and hits for an average of about 33icons, which to me seems very mediocre, and gets gets much worse much faster when you have a smaller pet from what I can see.

I haven't had any coffee today, so no brain. Will try to remember next time I use it -- but yeah -- it does help up the freeze rate. I'm thinking I used it w/my larger pets after the last reset because I didn't have much for freezing scrolls then. Like maybe only 2 or 3. It was probably most helpful against the EHs like Sag and GE.

I do remember it was essential for my early wins against crawbeast. Like I said, I just didn't have the dozens of freezing scrolls that I have now. I don't ever remember it having a heal either -- so that wasn't why I use it. Did they just add that, or did I simply never notice?

You know, my morning coffee is still sitting on my desk....one of those days.... anyway, my problem with gelaspell is it takes up a lot of AP just for a small chance to freeze and little block. Combined with no heal, it seems like more of a risk to use than a help.

Also in case it wasn’t clear, unstable fairy is only good if you are training speed. If you have below 3k speed, it is useless.

You no doubt have enough scrolls and AP to use the one-hitters. It may not be the best freezer, but what do you do when you need 20-30 turns of freezing?
