Battle Quests done for today.

What are you using against Slaglord? I have to make a lot of changes from my normal battle set to beat him. His blocks all magma and most fire as well as a lot of earth and physical. I wind up using Lambent Guardian Crystal (fire block plus heal), Hydragellos Core (because it does damage he doesn't block) and Shinwas Short Sword (for the magma block) but you might be better off with Replica Minotaur Knocker which has both the earth block and a heal. And I throw in a Shinwas Temple Shard for an extra full block after my AON dies (just in case). I can't remember how much I've needed the blockers though. Good Luck.

Sorry to hear you had the flu :( I hope you're better now :D Things have been alright for me... we dropped my sister in law at the airport on Friday, and today husband has a 24 hour shift at the hospital, so today's my first day when I'm once again home alone :P

My current weapon set is: Rainbow Vortex, Phoenix Quill, Scientist Specs, Plague Claw, Comet Flash, Sierrac Basal Ice Flail, UltimaPlus Tag, Paintbrush Blades (Too lazy for sCode at the moment...)

Thanks! The 5th fight took way longer than it should have, so there's a real sense of accomplishment there :D I think I don't want to brawl with her again until Kent is T13, even if she scales up.

May I ask what you've used against her? Although Tziety is most likely not strong enough to take on her :P

- ouch! Maybe you should keep those amulets stashed away for a few days and see if he gets more generous later on.

A lot of Plague Claw's attack is wasted against Slaglord and the same for Paintbrush Blades. Comet Flash is probably fairly weak against him - especially if he blocks the physical icons. The ice flail can work since he doesn't block its attack and it also has a chance to freeze, but note that its defense is useless. In fact, except for the PBB blessing, you are blocking none of his fire or magma damage. Perilous Whirlpool Scrolls can help. You need to look through your armory and find some fire/magma blocks and some attackers that he doesn't block (no fire, magma, earth or physical attack if possible). Or maybe you could try some chain freezing - because he can't block when he's frozen.

You should really talk to before you decide to put off Cinthilocks until T13. I hear she is actually considerable harder to beat if you wait.

Mainly these:

• OHS and Natasha as my main attackers (because she steals like crazy, so OHS for blessing, Nat for stealing fodder)
• Intricate Helmet on the first turn to buy time and get a parched blessing up
• Soma and Mecha in case I get a freeze in

I also brought in ME, MW and Swash as backups in case she stole OHS or Nat (which she did) and some freezing scrolls that I couldn't use most of the time because of her curse.

I actually paid very little attention to her icons because I did most fights on my tablet where scrolling the battle text is tricky and the view tends to get stuck -_-

thanks! ^_^ I'm pretty close to getting a Mecha (just a few more IMP tokens to go!), but lack the ME and MW... hopefully there will be another Jelly War this year so I can get the Gelatin Concoction (and another core) to combine them.

I basically brought in all my big guns because I was only worried about stealing and freezing, not any specific icons. You might do very well without ME and MW - though I have to say owning all these pretties feels pretty darn great, especially the ones I've earned from battling :D

Yeah looks like I might have to. This is just ridiculous... lol.

- I know - Cinthilocks apparently makes everyone feel that way. And you can certainly take some time off before tackling her again. But I've already been told to be careful to tackle her BEFORE T13 several times (and my main battle pet just recently reached T10) so I gather they're serious about it. LOL

- yep - definitely a major improvement.

Videogaming and napping both sound pretty good. Maybe some of each. Especially since you seem to have already done all the chores. Of course, for me, it would be a book, but then, to each their own. :-)

- I usually get the feeling that these random things need a "warm up". I've never given any amulets to the Mage, but always at least feel like I do better when I do these things in larger groups rather than a few here and there. Hope it works for you. :-)

Haha, yeah, I've heard the same warnings. My Kentish has about 1550 stat points to go until T13, so by my calculations I have about 2 months to calm myself, get over this frustration and build up the mental strength for the next batch of super happy fun times with the brat ^^

- well, for what it's worth, we'll all be here to support you when you tackle her again. And just think how wonderful it will feel when you get your tenth win (and your bomb!) and don't have to worry about beating her tougher version. :-) (Isn't battling FUN? LOL)

All I've done is BQ and Quests... in RL I've only washed the dishes and cleaned the stove LOL I should really at the very least grab the broom and clean up some, especially since a friend is checking flights for the weekend to come and visit lol

- Cleaning the stove definitely counts as a chore. I suppose you could grab a broom. Then again ... it's still a long way to the weekend. LOL Hope your friend is able to get a good flight and you have a great visit.
