I remember when I used to feel like that... first against Wyrmgear, then Saggi.... now I feel the same way when facing Crawbeast or the Snow Fairy during BQ :P

All that matters is to keep trying, especially after boosting, since you never know when you'll be able to take him down :)

I got past level 25 on BQ for the first time, lucked out and got used Effigy's. I have a ton of sP saved, I just don't want to buy some of the more expensive essentials haha. I'm such a miser.

Yeah, health is always the one I tend to go for...the question is, how much?

, personally, I would take DEF & SPD to 2k, then boost HP :P

As for how much, that's really up to you, on what your plan for Haneul is in the long run... the 'final build' as it's called, when you get 35,000 overall stats (capping tier 13). I know you've still got a long way to go, but having a specific build in mind might save you from having to leech stats in the future, maybe.

For example, my goal for Tziety's final build is: 12k HP 11k STR 6k DEF 6k SPD

I might change a few numbers later, but at least I feel like I have a goal to work on, you know?

Personally, I invest all EXP in Batpod's health and then train for strength. Defense and speed are almost exclusively raised through tomes. So, right now he's at: Health: 5,461 Strength: 3,166 Defense: 2,362 Speed: 2,360

That's just an example. For Crimsyn I had her stats more even. But now that I've worked on Batpod, I strongly prefer and recommend a high health build. He beats opponents much faster than Crimsyn did. Small disclaimer: my armory is also better than it was with Crimsyn so that may affect his ability to beat opponents sooner, too.

That's probably a good idea, I'm battling Canaak at the moment...just because. I might do that for a bit longer and then see how much EXP I have to spend

I keep forgetting about a final build...I think though, I'm going to have Health and Strength be the higher stats...

You got a general idea of how you want your build to be, so that's a good start! That'll allow you to dump your EXP and boosters to the stats you want, instead of just using whatever booster you can find.

Currently, I really want to boost INT, but I want prices to go down a bit more before investing... Luminaire shopping inflated the prices a bit more than I'm willing to spend LOL

Congrats on getting past level 25!

I was a fresh T12 when I took on hoarfrost. I managed 3 wins but took like 40 losses. You’ll want to block all wind and ice. However, he also could do a lot of dark. You will also want to be freeze protected the whole time. The real pain with him is his curses that disable scrolls and force you to use only one weapon. The best thing to do is chain freeze him and when you need to heal, use any scroll healers you have first before he disables them.

ooh.... yeah, it sounds like he's not only tough to beat but also very luck-based (what with the 40 to 3 ratio you got) Are there any specific items you'd recommend to use against him?

I'm unsure if I want to spend the time on it tbh, it sounds like I'll be losing for hours before getting a single win haha. It might not be worth it since I wouldn't make it far enough to get his special loot anyway D:
