Only one amulet from Quentin today, but Carl did fall asleep and let me take a Purple Man in the Moon Plushie for my last quest of the day. :-)
Oooh - while typing this post I bought a from the Free Shop! Yay!
- it should be cheaper to buy the trident if you can find one for sale. My understanding is it usually sells for about 350 million sP. Other battlers can correct me if I'm wrong or out of date.
- I found my Batwing Blade to be very helpful for my lower level pets - especially when the icons it blocks were relevant, but it really depends on which challenger you're fighting and what other choices you have available to you.
- Yay!!! Congratulations on completing Level 25 Battle Quests. The first time is always sooo exciting! And now you will know that you can do it!
- fasting isn't that bad ... some of us do it for a little over 24 hours once each year (without water too) - fortunately my tradition says that health issues (if any) take priority. Congratulations to you for taking such good care of yourself. That's so important and sometimes so hard to do.
I want video of the ferrets riding the mighty Vac Umm! LOL I guess the dogs decided if the ferrets weren't afraid of it, they didn't need to be either and wanted to join in the fun somehow. :-) Must have been very interesting trying to get any actual sweeping done. :-)
- Happy Belated Birthday - hope you had a wonderful day. (Sorry I'm late.)
@ Virus - wow - congratulations on the amazing progress you and Cynde made last year.
- many congratulations on beating Clive. That's a big achievement to do that for the first time. And it's so exciting when it finally happens.
Urg.....they don't make it easy do they? I don't have any of the special ones...just the Cabochon Crystals and the Moonstone ones (Like...water defence moonstone, Water Defense Cabochon, and then just the normal water moonstone)
I have these in Earth, Fire, Wind, Water (no heart), dark
Then Freezing, light and physical
I can do it, if they throw the right challengers at me...lol
Morning! I'm normal questing and Free Shopping...though I'm gonna take a break to watch a movie maybe...just for a bit
If you want to collect the rest of the crystals, the spreadsheet here 1P Loot tracker - Collaboration Project lists which crystals belong to each challenger :D
Congrats on 25 wins agains Hoarfrost. Going to go to 10 at least and see about going to 25.

Uhh, I managed to get one win against Hoarfrost, but that was already more of a struggle than I'd have liked. I'm using mainly ME, Swash and freezing scrolls - does anyone have any better suggestions?
- good morning! Always a good day when you get the adulting out of the way early and can relax and have fun. :-)
- good luck against Hoarfrost. Hope you find a way to get those wins.
- thanks. And to you as well.
Thanks! Looks like luck is a big factor here. If he manages to get a chain freeze going, land multiple crits or if my blessings won't activate when I need them to, my poor Kentish is dead in a couple of turns. Mr. Freezy Guy sure isn't a pushover like the current TBT challengers :D
- well, looks like I don't need to worry about him this year (or maybe even next year) since my main battle pet, Tos is a new T10. Hope you manage to get in a few lucky battles (or some chain freezing of your own).
And, yes, I finished off the TBT challengers with all four of my battle pets pretty quickly. :-)
You could try switching ME for something that blocks ice, like Unstable Sample Syringe. My only other advice would be to stock up on as many Parched Baguettes as you can. But I think the main problem is that Kentish's speed is lower than his and those crits will hurt her a lot. Good luck!
Yeah, I will I do feel quite accomplished right now though :)
That sheet has been very useful for many things. My main question is, what's the best way to add them to weapons without wasting them
Yeah, those crits are evil. I'll try the Syringe, though - I keep forgetting about it because it's not in my default set :D Also, congrats on all those wins against him! I'm in awe ^^
If you don't want to waste crystals, people usually use , , , or because you can get more of them fairly easily or buy them cheaply. The latter two are always available in the battle shop, for example. But overall those are four of the best crystals, so you can essentially attach them to a weapon and almost never need to switch them out.
For the new crystals that you don't have many of, I would save them for challengers that are only around for a limited time, like event challengers. I think that would be the time where those crystals could make the biggest impact for you, if you think they could make a difference at the time.
Thanks! I only went that far because I was very determined to see if he gave out the Freezing Eye of Royalty Crystal since no other challengers had given it out yet :P
But if I put them on a weapon, and then want to change them...they're gone. So how do I know which of my weapons to put them on?
It would depend on the icons of the opponent. For example, if you need extra earth defense because your weapon doesn't defend enough of that icon. Or, if you know the opponent doesn't block a certain icon, you could add more of that attack icon through an elemental crystal.
First, you would build the set that you think would be best for that particular opponent and then add the elemental crystals afterward to fill in any icon gaps you think would improve your chances of beating the opponent.
Does that answer your question?
