I just finished my bqs -- and all my other quests unless I decide to do drills... And with the site lag so bad on and off since fall began, I know i've missed days... So don't feel bad. Nobody's perfect. Besides, you'll make up all that exp in all the extra battles with the Icy King. ;)

Anybody got any good weapon + scroll ideas for Hoarfrost? I remember beating him last time but I can't seem to remember what I used...

He does a lot of ice, dark, and wind icons, so anything that blocks a decent amount of those would probably be good (like Maniacal Essence or Blessed Trident/Swashbuckle, if you have those). Malhuili and Unstable Sample Syringe are decent ice blockers, if you have those. If not, the Sierrac Basal Ice Flail might be good.

He can also be frozen, so use those freezing scrolls if you have them. I haven't been able to beat him myself yet, but hopefully this can help you.

Same, I've been using ME, Trident, and Malhuili but I can't seem to find a winning combo. I can get close, but he seems to be crit hitting me too much. :c

[edit]Actually, maybe swapping out my Aftershocks scroll with Triple Threat will help some, give me a bit more relevant defending icons.

Lol no, it didn't help much. His stupid curse that disables scrolls and limits you to one weapon is also annoying.
