A few months ago I learned a cousin's getting married, so I waited until past Christmas to ask her if she's got a date set yet (because getting engaged doesn't mean you have a set date for the wedding, you know? :P), and she told me she did, but until April 2019! I want to go back home next year, so husband's checking if we can make a trip on May 2018 and April 2019 :D ❤️. Of course, that would probably push back our Greece plan to 2020, but I can wait XD

- hours for a ten minute trip??? wow - that traffic isn't even bumper to bumper yet. That really is bad! The only time it ever took me hours for a ten minute trip was when I once actually tried to go home after work was let out early due to a huge snow. Wound up not being able to drive directly home and had to go around - took me over two hours. LOL I learned my lesson though. From then on anytime we had an early release due to snow, I would just stay in my nice comfy office and play on my computer for an hour or so and then leave. I would still get home sooner than had I left when they let us out and I spent the time working or playing computer games and not driving around. :-)

I saw you mention getting challengers with CSC - don't forget, if you visit the Bathhouse every day, you get 150 CSC each month which would buy you a new challenger every two months with a little left over. :-)

I also notice changes from book to movie and I think lots of others do too. It's a very reasonable thing to do and not annoying at all. In my case, I even make it a point to reread a book (or a series) before I see a movie to make sure I have the story fresh in my mind. I'm willing to put up with some changes since I do understand it's a different medium (I mostly loved the Lord of the Rings movies for example - although there were a couple of things that really bothered me) but I expect a movie to stay true to the underlying book. By the way, I also often read a book that a movie I really like is supposed to be based on. And often wind up learning a lot and enjoying both even when I find out the movie got all sorts of things wrong. :-) - I agree - all good points (although I did not go see any of the Hobbit movies). If you're a LoTR fan, you really should read The Hobbit. It's not as good as the trilogy, but still a must read for big fans.

Long story. The short version is I had a great relation with a travel agent and priced a Disney vacation (hotel, travel, park tickets) with her. Then remembered I had some sort of Disney discount card from work. Called that night and was given a great price. Asked if my agent would get her commission if I purchased then and was told no. Went back to agent the next day and she called Disney, confirmed price and that it included park tickets. Asked why it was so much cheaper than what her company could get. Booked trip and tried to pay with my Disney credit card. Was told the card hadn't been used in too long (it was not expired) and asked for a different one. Said okay and paid for the entire trip right then and there. Later was told that my trip didn't include park tickets and was asked to pay for them. Refused. They tried all sorts of shenanigans, starting with telling us that a trip paid for with a Disney credit card is paid for, but a trip paid for with a different card isn't final until later (remember we offered them the Disney card first). Told me the person who sold me the tickets made the mistake and would have to pay for the park tickets if they gave them to me. (didn't threaten to make the second agent who gave my travel agent the same deal the next day pay any part of the cost) Told me they could give me a better deal if I didn't use the travel agent. Told the agent the same thing (she said go ahead and do it and skip my commission but they didn't). Asked the agent why she couldn't control her client. And on and on. Eventually gave in because the travel agent and I stuck together and insisted they honor their commitment. Almost wanted to cancel but the trip was booked early so went when the time came. Got to the hotel late after travel delays. Checked in. Was told my package had no park tickets. Fortunately I had a letter proving I did after the initial mess. Was eventually given my park admissions and a room upgrade. Thought I was finally done. Last day of trip I went to the park and was told my park admissions were no good, that it was policy not to allow admission on the last date of your visit (the date was printed on the card). Spent over an hour in an outside concrete area with no shade, decoration or access to water. Eventually was offered one day admission as a favor. Refused. Was told that settling issue in that amount of time was considered standard good service. Other people were there and there were small children there. One person had a terminally ill child and was treated no better. Asked for earlier flight home (had scheduled late flight to take advantage of last day at park). Was not given. Spent last day sitting around hotel lobby since no longer had a room. Heard several people at check in desk all being told they had no park admissions included (even though they all thought they had). Eventually was given a refund for more than the original cost of that day's tickets and an apology package with some Disney merchandise. Way too little and much too late. The parks are magical and I loved every visit I made there (this was not my first but was my last!) but not worth paying money to a company that does business that way and doesn't care about it's customers. That was a while ago and they may well have changed - I certainly hope so. But they have lost me forever. I can't avoid Disney, of course, they even owned my favorite tv news station. But I never use them when I have any other choice and I take my vacations elsewhere. There is always Universal Studios or Six Flags. And yes, trust me, this is the SHORT version of the story. :-)

Well then..that sounds crazy! Like I said, I worked in one of the resorts, and then one of the parks...so I never faced anything like that. That sounds crazy. Very, very crazy!

I've been trying to go everyday to the BH....so far, so good. AND I haven't missed a day with Melody, so that's good as well...

And perhaps hours is being over dramatic, and it's gotten better now that people can stay on the highway, and that they actually don't get off as a shortcut. You get to many people doing that, it creates back up..because the people who got off, then have to get back on.

But it does get like that when there's been an accident on the highway, and people are slower to merge. Dad and I were stuck once...once we got on the hill where it's quite close to our house we were pretty much stuck. People had stopped their cars and were standing next to them. Nothing was moving. My dad told me, "Okay get out" (I was driving) and we switched sides. He said to a lady we'd been talking to "Watch this. We're going home" He turned the car around, got in the breakdown lane and reversed up the hill to our drive way.

It was so bad, that people who lived on the main road were bring cups of water to people and letting them use their bathrooms.

- you can do 30 BQs in ten minutes? Wow! I look forward to when I can do that to. I can do the first 20 of them quickly and then 21 to 25 usually take some time. And I find that I'm already on Subeta at least an hour every day (although some days I do try to make it less). :-) At least it's not hours anymore. When I first started beating Surge it sometimes took over an hour just to beat him (of course sometimes that included him showing up several times during BQs). I should really do the easy BQs every day, but I find that once I start, I always stay and do the others - so if I don't have that much time, I wind up doing none at all. Silly, but I just can't quit when I know there's a challenger there that Tos is able to beat. :-)

I know people love all things Disney (I used to be like that) but to me the fact that (at least then) the people at the helm didn't care at all about the customers or the values the company was known for was just too much for me.

Yes, accidents can cause all sorts of havoc. Especially on roads with fewer lanes. I was once completely stuck on the tollway (with lots of lanes) by an accident that blocked all of them. And since it was the tollway there was no nearby exit and I was in a middle lane and literally couldn't move anyhow. So we all just sat until it was cleared. The biggest problem was that I was going to see my Mom and even though I had a cellphone (they weren't as common then) she had left her apartment and gone downstairs to wait for me. So I was worried because I knew that she would worry. But fortunately, they managed to open up a lane and I was only about half an hour late.

I think your Dad probably did the smart thing given that you were so close. And I think it's great that people were sharing water and bathrooms. That time I got stuck neither of those would have been available.

How are you coming with all the battle clicking?

Traffic sucks. Australia isn't know for it's multi lane highways...most of ours have two. And for someone who grew up in the States (thanks to dad's job), it drives me nuts sometimes!

Battle clicking is meh...I just hit 75 battles with Coeli...and I'm about to hit 200 with Buttwing...I'm singing Man out of You in my head...lol

GASP! Make phone calls? That's a big no no unless you have hands free...lol. And click, click, click....

- at the time I had a full sized mobile phone that included a speakerphone. So hands free after dialing and that was no harder than using the car radio. It was one of the experimental phones that we had before the official release of cellphone and we were supposed to use it to help understand how to make the system work better. :-) For what it's worth it was a LOT less distracting to use than today's little cellphones that require a hand just to hold them near your ear so hands free wasn't nearly as much of an issue.

Lol, you aren't even allowed to touch your cell phone while driving here in Australia. My mum's phone is hooked to her car somehow....so any calls that come in and the car starts ringing...stopping the radio and such. All she has to do is touch the screen. It's the same for text messages...it'll say "New text message from blah blah" then mum touches listen, and it reads it out loud - which is always funny because it sounds like one giant run on sentence.

But I am proud to say that, all the secret challengers (apart from Magey, Chase and the 4 millionaire centre challengers I have) are almost at 100 wins each.

Only three need 100, and that's Mama Mush, Nightshade and Nependeathicus. Mama has 75 wins (just got her scroll), Nependeathicus has 51 and Nightshade has 50.

The millionaire guys don't give anything after 10 wins, so I will probably battle them later a bit more for some extra EXP. As for Mage and Chase...I don't think Haneul is ready...unless everyone has been lying about how hard they are?

- hands free is required lots of places here too now. Unfortunately, they've done studies that say that hands free doesn't actually solve the problem of distracted driving. It seems that phone use and car use don't mix well.

I'm just aimlessly clicking while salvaging and fighting in the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 games (battles are automatic lol). I'm doing a mission that requires battling level 25 or so monsters, and my team is level 60+ :P

I did look at all the talk on this thread (or a previous version) when the reset was done but it got to be so confusing that I'm still not sure how far I need to eventually get with the normal and secret challengers.

Sounds like you are somehow managing to make good progress in two games at once. I'm very impressed. I have trouble just managing a single game at a time. Good luck to you in both endeavors.

Yeah, The Last Airbender. The TV series was great, but the movie... IDK why anyone thought it would be a good idea to make it into a movie in the first place, but everything about it was just not good at all.

When KT was doing bqs, that's how long it took him -- provided the site was running. Battles go much faster when everything only takes one hit to KO. ;)
