I actually think Crawbeast is tougher...

I don’t know. Crawbeast became a punching bag the moment I got my mecha at mid tier eleven. Even with Natasha and Manifesting Weapon, Prodigy can mow me over a lot of the time. There’s a lot of RNG with whether or not my AoN survives the first round so I can safely heal up later in the battle.

At least he's easy to chain freeze and crit if you have even halfway decent speed. Unless I'm battling w/KT, I double blast him. I find that saves a world of hurt later in the battle.

Blasting never seemed to help as much w/ the Cbeast like it did the blue ball.

Double blasting wasn’t too useful for me on either of them. I prefer Rapier of Error instead of a second blast for Crawbeast for the curse to counter its healing, and AoN on Prodigy in order to survive the first round, and if I’m lucky get a safe heal in later.

I feel like before my hiatus i was able to get a win on prodagy... but I hate seeing his sphere mug as a challanger same with Crawbeast (tho i get wins on craw about 50% of the time so its not a huge issue) But I also am still relearning all the weapons and scrolls sooooo perhaps once I get the stratagy down for them.

Also only just bought the Natasha yesterday and there goes my SP.

I would definitely say prodigy is harder than crawbeast for pets on the borderline of being able to beat him. Oranos was extremely lucky to get a win on him after only two tries but would struggle during BQs. Prodigy hits hard and his high speed allows him to crit hit more on pets that aren't fast enough.

4/31 is me keeping track of doing BQs everyday. A few people are doing it. They inspired me to do it too. I was getting lazy and/or busy.

I tend to train speed higher than most, so that's probably why he's so much easier than Cbeast for me.

Don’t get me wrong, a low T12 with the right equipment and enough freezing scrolls can beat prodigy in BQs and get 5 wins outside of BQs.

So Oranos actually is at a stage where I can fight both and let you know wins/losses in battle quests. He has high health and strength for T11 but his speed and is a little on the lower side (high T10 range). I can bump that up some so that when I boost it is T11 range speed but I still can’t see crawbeast being harder than prodigy. Prodigy has the advantage stat wise and although it’s annoying when crawbeast spans his death roll, prodigy’s bomb definitely packs a harder punch and is hard to block.

No I haven't gone beyond the 10 wins My amulet to tome ratio sucks. I'm hoping for vesnali challengers soon and a new monthly opponent.

You should consider going beyond 10 wins, it works best for secret and normal tab challengers. You will get a little exp from each challenger.

Normal tab and secret tab challengers loot goes like this:

Easy 50 wins -amulet 100 wins -amulet 150 wins -tome

Medium 25 wins -amulet 50 wins -amulet 75 wins -tome

Hard 25 wins -amulet 50 wins -tome

Very hard 15 wins -amulet 35 wins -tome

Extremely hard 15 wins -amulet 25 wins -tome

That's what I've seen thus far. Not all challengers drop them just on Normal tab and Secret and only a few there are the exception. Hope that helps you get closer to tier 13.

No problem. I took note of it when battling and it stuck. I might be off with some of the higher challenger tiers... my memory isn't what it used to be lol.
